This is my second 'economy' style necklace and is available in
my Project: Greenleaf shop.
(Sorry, I tried to get a good picture of the charm but my camera won't focus on it no matter what I tried. This was the best picture I could get of it.)
It features cheaper materials than my normal necklaces, including pewter charms and pony beads. It still has the same deerskin leather lace and toggle clasps that I use on the other necklaces
The pony beads have a little bit of symbolism, too. These necklaces were made to honor those wild animals who have been hunted, as a tribute to the fallen. The brown beads represent the animals that inhabit the forest, as their fur and feathers generally are brown, where the orange beads represent the orange hunters' jackets. The charm represents the cycle of life - as one soul is lost, another is born.

These 'economy' necklaces will end up looking the same as far as the beads go, because i have a bagful of those pony beads, but I'm carefully picking fitting charms for them, as these are supposed to be tributes to hunted animals. I know there were some charms with butterflies, so I plan to get one of them for the next ones, but I'm not sure what else to get for it...there was one with a cow skull, but I don't think that's quite what you guys would want to wear.
