Could all participants please send an email to me (address below) so that on Tuesday when I shuffle your names, I can simply send the message as a reply. By Tuesday afternoon/evening, you should have your Secret Santee!

Welcome to Secret Santa 2012! Hopefully we're off to an early start this year, and we can have as good a time as we've had in the past!

We're a family here in the Community, and like many families, we have a tradition of exchanging gifts during the holidays. Regardless of where you live, or what you do during the holidays, it is a fun time to share the seasons with your friends in the TEFc.

In order to try and keep things as fair as possible, the gift-giving will be split into two groups. One group will receive mailed gifts from their secret Santa, and the second group will exchange gifts in an online format, whether through email or through the Community.

Now, onto the important details!

IMPORTANT DATES

If you wish to sign up as part of this year's Secret Santa, I'm asking that you submit your information to me by Tuesday November 20th at the very latest! I would like to give everyone enough time to put their gifts together before the holiday season when everyone gets very busy. This gives me enough time to sort the names and email the participants before December even starts.

If you are part of the mailed-gift group, in order to get the gift mailed in time, you should send out your packages before Tuesday December 11th.

SPENDING LIMIT

As most of us are not millionaires, and for many TEF residents, money is a bit tight around the holidays, this year, I am going to request that a $20 (US/CAN) spending limit (before shipping) be followed. Even if you do have the funds to go beyond this, I ask that you try to restrain yourself, as we don't want anyone feeling like there is unfairness going on. If you wish to send me a message privately about this issue, you may do so via the contact information I will post below.
