1: Favorite TV shows?
Oh boy, I have a long list of things I love to watch. Let's see...

Cops, The Simpsons, Hell's Kitchen (when in season), Deadliest Catch, Most Haunted, South Park, basically everything on Adult Swim except for the live action stuff (Tim and Eric, ect ect), Crossing Jordan, The 4400, most Judge shows (Judge Mathis, Judge Judy, ect.).... and so on and so on.

2: A place you'd like to travel too?
Many places, but if I could pick one, I'd love to see Ireland, since I am part-Irish.

3: Any phobias?
Bees, Wasps, Hornets...basically any flying insect that has a stinger. I'm "semi" phobic of clowns - they don't scare me, but they creep me out. (Don't worry, The Joker doesn't really count for this...well, he kinda creeps me out too so....) I have a few others but they're kinda gross, so I'll just leave it at that.

2. How long have you been playing TEF?
Since about the middle of October last year. I saw an advertisement on deviantArt about the Great Zombie Deer and thought it sounded cool!

3. Wishlist?
Would like a new car eventually (driving a 1990 Mazda that I love, but it has a few problems). Other than that, I'm pretty set.

1 - What does your name (Quad) mean and/or originate from?
Before I came to this community, I was a member of a First Person Shooter community for about 12 years. I originally went by the name "Raptor" (my favorite dinosaur), but I found out a few other people had the same name and thought I was someone else. I added "Quad" to the name to associate my name with the game (one of the powerups in the game was called Quad Damage). So QuadRaptor means "The Four Raptors", or "You are surrounded by four raptors and will not escape my assault"....that kinda thing When I went onto this community, I considered choosing a different name, but decided that it would be easier for people to remember who I was if I just went with "Quad". So essentially, Quad's name means "Four".

2 - What is your favourite emote, or combination of emotes?
Tilt Head is my all-time favorite, but if I picked a combination, it would be shock/suprise with laugh, so Quad falls over and goes headfirst into the ground.

3 - If you were stranded on a deserted island, and could only have three items with you (excluding clothes, and you have means to survive ), what would you bring?
*Sigh...* A hammock, A decent-sized knife, and a frying pan XD

1. Why do you play TEf?
A few reasons - it keeps me away from the FPS community (read my answer to Lieka's first question), but more importantly I love deer and love to play as one. With Quad, I'm able to play and enjoy like anyone else without feeling judged or looked down on like the other community.

2. How do your deer feel about mine?
Quad knows your deer a little. He sees their pictos on all the time, but he doesn't think he really knows your deer well enough. He'd like to meet them a little more.

3. What do you like most about TEF?
Tough call...there are so many things I love about TEF! Oh, I guess the fact that we communicate through actions rather than talking like humans. It's kind of a fun language-barrier I guess

Although I like all kinds of things, one of my favorites are fried Crab Claws.

Normally Well Done, though sometimes I do Medium Well.

1. What do u think of mazey?
Mazey is one of those deer I always love to see in the Forest. I feel like she is a good friend of Quad's and is someone he could hang out with all the time. I think Mazey has chosen a nice set for her doe look, too!

2.will u ever want to leave tef, if so ,why? D:
If I ever leave, it will be because of school or if I have a lot going on with my life (like when I plan to move after I get done with college, that kind of thing). Until then, I refuse to leave this community

3.if u could design a pelt, mask and antlers what would they look like?
I had actually considered doing something like this. I should draw it out sometime and see what everyone thinks. Basically I thought it would be cool to have armor/metal plating on our deer for the pelt, the mask be a knight-ish helmet or a half-helmet, and the antlers be like the top of a Trojan helmet (either one in the middle or two like antlers)

1. What made you choose the pictogram you chose?
I didn't know what to expect when it came to the pictograms. I kept seeing ones that were all jumbled up and looked like a mess. So I kept searching, and it didn't take long to find this one. I think I looked at the next four or five before going back and picking it. I dunno, it just seemed different than all the others, and I'm glad because I rarely see other pictograms that are similar (I see the specific but not a similar combination).

2. What are your views on mates?
I don't have a problem with mates. Quad's actually looking for one right now. While it might not be part of the original plan of The Endless Forest, I do think it is an interesting concept and definately something to be considered.

3. If you could be a Twin God for a day, what would you do?
(Hopefully if I could stay home all day) I'd do a day-long Abiogenesis, or at least several mini-abios. I'd especially enjoy making the fences come up as well as making deer blow bubbles. Quad would appear as a large deer wearing one of the special pelts the Twin Gods wear (Black as Night, the red one, the gold one, ect), and would probably hand out a few limited edition enchantments.

4. Could you name a favorite food of yours, as well as color and animal?
Food - I mentioned Crab Claws earlier, so I'll say a different one for you. I love mexican pizzas, which are flat circlular tortilla shells that you pile beef, cheese, condiments on.

Color - Red, definately. It's kind of hard to explain, but my brothers and I just kinda grew into having a color that represented us. My oldest chose blue, and the middle chose green, so I went with red.

Animal - I'd say Deer but that's a no-brainer, and you already know I love Goats, so Pronghorn Antelope! I absolutely love their fur pattern, and they look so majestic. Supposedly, ones in parks can be approached without any problems, and I would love to meet one in person!

5. I had to ask--are there any deer Quad enjoys being with the most or the least?
There really isn't anyone Quad hates to be around. I can't think of a single pictogram that Quad doesn't like.

There are many deer Quad enjoys the company of. I can't name everyone, but if I could think of pictos I see in the Forest that are familar to me (without looking at the players list [and please don't be offended if I don't list you ])....

Quamar, Twenty-One, Demon Gazelle/Walter, Ghost, Laruna, Jen, Mazey, Pega, Pepokeen, Vipin, Kaicow, Corg, Witcher (I didn't list you, Her, because I don't think Quad's ever met you in the Forest )

1. Are you a fan of pants?
Only in the Winter. I have to wear khaki pants to work all the time and it gets in the mid-high 90's in the summer, so I get sweaty wearing them.

2. Do you or have you ever sung in the shower?
Yes, being the music freak that I am, I cannot deny this.

3. What is the silliest impulse you've acted upon that you can remember?
I got a card in the mail that said "We have good news" and had a smiley face on it. Well, it ended up being some scam to try to get me to spend $200 a month on like 5 or 6 magazines that I had never heard of. But they were all like, "And you get a two-week getaway to the Bahamas and a $1000 shopping spree and this and that and....", so on, and I admit I'm a compulsive person...so I ended up giving them my debit card number without thinking, and then realizing that I didn't make enough to even afford this. I had to call back and cancel it as soon as I could, but yeah...I was a little embarrassed that some telemarketer basically got to me on the phone.

4. What question would you most like people to ask about yourself, and what would the answer be?
"Have you ever wanted to be a superhero?", I know it's kind of a dumb question....

But yeah, I'm the kind of person that would want superpowers. I don't know exactly what kind, really anything would do that is easy to use and wouldn't cause destruction and so on. While this is highly unlikely to happen in our world, I am proud to say I am "kind of" a superhero, in the fact that I am a blood donor.

I know I need to be humble and all, but it's really cool when you have a fear of needles and you overcome it by trying to donate blood. THEN you find out the blood type it says on your birth certificate is incorrect, and you have a rare blood type. THEN you find out you also don't have some virus that makes your blood extra special...well, I've been told my blood is considered "platinum".

So anyway...ever since that first time I donated, I've given two gallons of my blood, and I plan to continue donating until I can't any longer. Sorry about the paragraphs about all this, but really when you're proud of doing something, you want to talk about it!

Nope! I just ate dinner a few hours ago

1. What is your favorite memory in the Forest (so far)?
Hmm..there are many favorite memories. I cannot think of a single instance, but I always loved when we had a long line-dance with 8+ deer all dancing together.



If I chose a specific memory, though, I'd probably say the after party of the Abiogenesis where I got my DotD antlers. I think my heart skipped a few beats when that happened

2. What is your least favorite memory in the Forest (so far)?
I guess the whole Penis-fawn incident was pretty crummy. Really, I think it's low that one whole community thinks they can laugh at another whole community.

3. What do you think of me? Just kidding! When you first joined, did you think you would enjoy/love the game as much as you do now?
Kidding or not, you're one of my best friends on here! I literally stop what I'm doing and jump on the Forest to see you whenever I see your pictogram pop up on the Live Forest Map. No joke!

When I first started, I thought it was going to be just another wierd community that I would try out for a week and then move on. It wasn't until I found the Forums that I began to get into the game, and I especially loved it when people post screenshots that I was in (and I still do). I hate to admit it, but it took me a while to get used to the Forest, and now I'm an absolute freak over it!

4. What's a guilty pleasure of yours? We all have them (shows, movies, foods, etc)!
Music, definately. I still collect CDs and will go to a CD store and grab 4-7 CDs to listen to. Sometimes, I'll just buy a CD because I think the cover art looks cool or because it's a band I've heard of before. I'm sure I have 200+ CDs, maybe even more.

5. What is your current job? Is it your dream job? Why or why not?
My current job is a part-time job at a grocery store. I work in the Produce Department making fruit and veggie trays for customers, and if I don't have those orders to take care of, I'm making fruit cups. I learned how to cut up fruit and veggies from my first job, which was a buffet-style restaurant that I worked at the Salad Bar.

It's definately not my dream job, but rather a temporary job until I graduate from college. My dream job has always been to be a Paleontologist (studies fossils), and I'm actually majoring in Geology, which is similar and practically will do the same thing. I haven't decided what kind of geology I want to work with, for example if I'd want to help look for petrolium or if I'd want to survey landscapes, and so on. I definately want to dig some dinosaurs, though!

In addition, I am minoring in Professional Writing, and hope to write some fantasy and science fiction novels.

6. If you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?
If it was based on my dream occupation, Mongolia, definately. The Gobi Desert is said to be full of dinosaur bones, in particular Velociraptors

If it was just anywhere, I'd want to live in the Caribbean, either somewhere in the Bahamas or on Barbados. I don't know what kind of job I would have, but I'm the person who is used to living near the beach, and I'd want a cool house where I could relax, watch the sea, and possibly have my own tiki bar! XD

7. If you could have any pet, what would you own, why, and what would you name it?
Don't laugh, but a goat! They're said to be very sweet and dog-like (not to mention one of my favorite animals!), and I would name it Victor.

ummm first off i have i question abou the Penis- Fawn thing... What the Heck? lol
It was something that happened a while back. A dumb website called SomethingAwful.com decided to raid our game and make fun of our community. They registered deer with pictograms that looked like penises and wrote a program to make their fawns just stand around and call out over and over for hours. Well, we decided to take some measures to shut these guys up.

Eventually M & A made an update to where if you call out within 8 seconds of each other, it isn't as loud. (You might have noticed this when you call out) Of course the SA people, being the programmers and geeks they are, wrote another thing to where the fawns called out 8 seconds apart from each other. Eventually they left us alone and wrote a thing bashing our community, and that was the end of it.

1. What do you think about wolves?
I don't have a problem with wolves. I think they're nice creatures that are misunderstood. The reason why I'm not a big fan of them, though, is because they are my brother's favorite animal. I don't hate them or anything, but I'm not a fan, so I'm kind of neutral about them.

2. Do you play any other Internet Games?
A few. Most of them are violent games, though.

Quake, Quake 2, Guild Wars, and Starsiege Tribes are about it right now.

I also play a little on Xbox Live, mostly Halo 3 and Gears of War, but lately I've only been playing Rock Band on there

Quad: "Is everything an answer? Well, I'd say that everything was the Twin Gods' doing and I love that they are always watching over us. Yeah, that'll work. "

2. What's Quad's favorite spot in the forest?
Quad: "My favorite tree, of course! It's the one near the Ruins that's at the edge of a mushroom circle on a hill. I just love to wrap around it and sleep for hours!"

3. If Quad had to go on a desert island and he could only take one thing what would that be?

Quad: "I'd absolutely DIE if the blue pelt wasn't around!

...haha, no, just kidding. Actually I really like the green pelt with the pink-ish belly. My second favorite set would include that pelt, the peacock antlers, and my real-deer mask!"

2. What is your favourite TEF action?

Quad: "That's a tough question, but I'd say Head Tilt. I really enjoy giving other deer goofy looks, and I also love to head tilt with my Red Zombie antlers, because it makes me look even sillier! "

3. What is the funniest thing to happen to you in the forest/Or the funniest thing you witnessed?

Quad: "I can't think of a particular moment, but I always think it's funny when someone enchants me with the doe antlers. I always do the 'doe bow' to whoever did it to freak them out. As far as things I've witnessed, I'd definately put the tophat fawn invasion way up there!"

1~ Who was the 'she' that you just missed at the Crying Idol and told everyone on the Pictures part of the site?

Mazey, who was at the Crying Idol to clear her mind and think about whether Quad was interested in her or not. I was not on the computer at the time, so when I saw that I got Quad in the Forest and ran there, but she was already gone.

2~ What color would Quad's eyes be if he were human (I don't think you posted a humandeer yet ^^;) and what color are you eyes?

Quad's Human Form (I actually did post this in the human entry.

But I think Quad's eyes would be brown, since that is a deer's usual eye color, although before I chose this, his eyes were portrayed as blue. So it's really undecided if it's brown or blue.

Mine are blue though.

3~ What would Quad do if he got fan girl attacked? lol
