_{The crimson doe had been trailing through the birch most of the afternoon, stopping occasionally to rest or take a quick nap. In short, it had been quite uneventful, a typical lazy noon.
Taryn slowed her trot, leaning against a thin tree and sighing gently; the mini usually enjoyed time to be alone and simply think, but now she wanted some company, someone to sit with.
A quick sniff of the air however, and she was quickly alerted to another's presence. Ears went flat against her head and she stepped back a little, muscles tensed. She seemed to be waiting for the other to make themselves known, seemingly too timid to call out herself.}
