The sky was leaden grey, a solid and unyielding mass of steel. The clouds above were seemingly motionless, unmoved by the stiff, biting wind that raced over the Pond's edge and howled in the thin branches of the willows. The waters of the Pond were dark and mysterious, spared from bonds of ice by the wind that rippled their surface. Sitting in the frozen mud and dead grasses at the Pond's edge was a little stag. His head lay upon his hooves and he stared out blankly at the water, lost in thought. The wind blew strands of white hair up into the air and then back down again, but he didn't seem to care. The stag started to hum a small tune to himself. His voice was a little bit deeper than one would expect from such a small body, and as such he was embarrassed of it and didn't talk often.
'It's quiet today... I guess it's times like these that I don't want other deer to have.'

Lame starting I know, but it's a start ^^ I don't know which of your characters to rp with, so I left it open! Plus, I had to choose winter as a season. The Forest is so beautiful with snow, and it would never snow in June.
(actually though, a three way rp sounds cool, between three of our characters? dunno if itlll be too confusing or not, lol, but it could be fun)

Myszka pricked up his long ears as he sensed someone approaching and felt a warm body sit down next to him. Green and blue feathers tickled his face and he suppressed a laugh, getting to his feet.
"Venus? Hi!" he smiled in welcome. The small black and white doe was one of the few deer in the Forest he was comfortable around, and a little defensive of from bigger deer.
