She walked over to him. He looked just a bit tired. "Are you ok? Or are you just tired?" She nuzzled him by touching his nose and rubbing her head on his fuzzy neck.
"Hm... I don't know. I think I'll be okay." he said to her as he lifted his head and yawned before shaking it side to side, the fur on his neck rippling.
She smiled. "Alright then." She stood and shook as well. Her light green and pink fur glistening in the light her long fur blowing like the mane of a wild horse. She stopped and looked side to side then back at Cooper. "Did you want to go for a walk?"
(sorry stupid game was being stupid and it logged me xD)
He smiled as well "Sure, It's a lovely day for one too." He said, recognizing the calm breeze and the sunlight, his most favorite weather. He stood and stretched before looking around.
He followed her closely, constantly checking his surroundings as he went at a slow trot. His ears were like sonar detectors or satellite shields, listening to all that was around him.
She was glad to have someone walking with her. With her being a doe, she was a little nervous being around bigger stags (non-minis). They made her uncomfertable. She was a little courious of why Cooper was listening like he was getting ready to get jumped. "Are you worried about something? I mean your listening like your about to get jumped." She spoke looking over her shoulder. She thought he just didn't want to lose her by another stag.
He looks back at her, his ears pointing back to her "Oh, um, no, I'm not worried... It's just that... This forest is wolf-less, but you never know what else could be lurking about in the shadows." he says to her then his ears pivot around again. He wasn't scared of any big tough stag (non-mini), but he had to admit he didn't want to get hurt or have anyone close to him get hurt by one either. There also may be spooks about as well.
She giggled. "I'm sure there are nothing in these woods that would try to hunt and kill an adult deer." She dropped back a bit to walk right by his side. She nuzzled his fuzzy neck. "It's alright. There is nothing to be worried about."
He nuzzled and licked her ear, not replying. He had seen too much in the past to forget. He saw all forests as dangerous, protected or not. That is why he stayed out of shadows when he was alone, in fear he may fall asleep and never wake. That is why he stuck close to whoever was near and didn't fall behind, knowing strength was in numbers and that he would be an easy target if he was alone.
She knew what he was thinking. But she didn't know why he was so scared of things that were not likly to happen. "I just have one question. Why are you so scared of certain things? Did something happen to you when you were a fawn?" She wanted to know so that maybe she could make it better.
"Yes... something did happen... I ran as fast as I could. But they have still left scars with they're long shiny reeds. Those glimmering tubes that almost blind you when you look at them. Then when you realize what it is, what has happened, it's too late." He said to her, his eyes distant and far off into his past.
She was a little confused of what he was talking about. "Are you talking about wolves?" She nudged him. Her ears rotated keeping an ear out for anything or anybody coming near them. She looked at him all the while.
"No... far worse than wolves. I'd rather have a wolf get me, to be honest. At least I know I'm feeding a pack that needs it, a pack that has little pups to tend to perhaps. Wolves eat everything they kill, even gnaw the bones... What I am talking about is far worse... so far worse... they cause the silence in forests. They caused the silence in the forest I lived in." He said, quite frightened.
She stood closer to him as she walked. She somewhat laid her head on his neck. She was trying to keep him calm. "What was it then?" She was more interested then ever.
"I don't know... They look like big, fat, flabby, flightless, feather-less birds. They look like they cant run as fast as us, but they don't have to. They are so loud, but so quiet. They hold this tube like thing and smoke comes from it after it makes a sound. I don't know what it is. But I don't think it's attached to the birds. They lure you in with the sound of another deer, a call, you know? They say "I'm here, I'm here!" over and over again... but then when you get there, all you see is the shining silver tube pointed straight at you." He replies to her quietly, his voice drenched in fear.
She frose. Her ears pointed forward and a chill blazed down her spine. "Humans." She said softly. She knew exactly what he was talking about. "Humans is what they were." She looked around like she was about to be attacked by one. She was still frozen in place.
"Whatever they are, they're horrible... They... they took my parents away." He says quietly, lowering his head as his ears went back against his skull.
She walked up to him quietly as if she was being stalked. "It's alright. I'm here now. And you have Angel, as well. I won't let anything hurt you." She knew they were humans and she knew what had happened to his parents, but she didn't have the heart to tell him.
He licked her muzzle gently "I know I have you and Angel. And I appreciate you both for helping me feel at home here. I just can't escape this fear that they'll still try to get me too." He replies quietly
"Well, if they get you, they'll have to get me too." She licked his muzzle and buried her face in his fuzzy neck fur. He would be safe with me. "You will be safe with me. And I will be safe with you." She whispered in his ear.
She blushed. She looked at Cooper, her bright green eyes sparkleing in the sun. She loved having Cooper around. She loved his company. She didn't know what she would do if she hadn't met Cooper. She whispered in his ear. "I love you, Cooper." It was a huge step. But she does love him.
(dont be affraid to say 'Uh uh noooooo Not that far!" xD)
He blushed as well, if not more than she did. "I..." he said before he swallowed the lump in his throat and started again "I... I think I... love you too..." he said to her very quietly
She smiled. She licked him gently on the cheek. Her bright green eyes softened. She nuzzled up against him. She looked around and spotted a purple flower patch and laid down in it.

He smiled and followed her to the flower patch, laying down right beside her. His entire figure was relaxed and for once, completely happy, with knowing he was protected. His own bright green eyes showed the love and care he felt for Filline.

She leaned against him and folded her ears back closing her eyes and smiling softly. She knew he would protect her. She would also protect him. She would do everything in her power to protect and keep him and herself safe.

Her ears shot forward. Her eyes shot open. She was frozen. Her little black nose twitched a little. She smelled..... gun powder. She whispered. "Oh no..." She stood oh so quietly. She looked around in all directions. Her ears were franticly turning and sliding to pin point where the smell and noise was coming from. She saw the sparkle of the metal gun. "Run!!!!!" She grabed his one horn with her mouth pulling him to his feet. She took off.

She ran as fast as she could. She kicked up dust causing her foot prints to go deep into the sand. She finally got to her home (where they are sitting now). She breathed hard. She waited for Cooper to come in and she heard a shot go off. The hunter had killed a different deer. An older stag. Her and Cooper were safe, for now.
She breathed deeply. "Are you ok?" She didn't feel any pain. She only felt her legs stiffen from the running that took place. "Are you hurt?" She nuzzled him. She then looked around the rock. She saw the old stag being dragged away by the hunter. He put it in the back of his 'truck' and drove off. "I think we are safe, for now."
"Yes for now. Are you hurt? Were you shot? Do you feel any pain anywhere?" She looked at him frantic that he may be hurt. If he was hurt, she wouldn't know what to do or how to help.
She sighed. "I'm ok as well. I'm glad your here or I might not have been ok." She licked him on his cheek and flopped to the ground. Her legs throbbed. Her legs were stiff. She laid on her side, giving her legs a well needed rest.
He laid down beside her and licked her face and neck gently, comforting her and trying to take her mind off the throbbing. "Just rest for now, we don't have anywhere to go." He said calmly, but tiredly as well.
Filline woke to Angel's face in hers. She screamed. Not from frieght but from surprise. She then laughed. Angel ran off. She looked over to Cooper who was still sleeping. "Wake up sleepy head." She said nudgeing and lick his nose.
