MISTRUSING OF STAGS, INSECURE, OCCASIONALLY DISTANT, FEARFUL
Persay is curious about all the fighting going on because of the rut. He finds it entertaining to watch stags go at it over a doe, so he may be sighted around large gathering of deer in case a rival stag appears. He tends to stay at a distance, backing up if a male deer comes near him as well as not approaching the stag's does first. If the male deer welcomes him in a sense, Persay will still keep distance between him and the herded does.
Persay will often mimic another's body language and follow it up by a head tilt. This normally means he does not understand why the deer is doing this specific motion. If he only displays a single head tilt following a bow or sniff, he is conveying that he is unsure of who the deer is or if he is welcome.
He will often walk in a slow pace which is normally viewed as "strutting" by other deer, especially during rut. Though this is not the correct reason why. He takes his time when in the forest, surveying his surroundings and listening to what is going on around him. If he happens to sense something important or recognize a deer he knows, he will then speed up his pace.
more coming soon
LUCIAN// Lucian is one of the few stags Persay feels comfortable around. When he first ran into Luc and his herd, Persay was hesitant to approach. With the rut just around the corner, many of the male deer around the forest are quick to behave aggressively against another male whether they are in run or not. Persay felt honored to be able to relax with Luc's does, and feels safe around him.
EXIT// He has only just met Exit so his thoughts about her are few. He was greatly entertained by her, even though she was a little upset at the time.

There seemed to be less deer being herded today as well as quarrels between stags. Perhaps they are only resting up for the actual rut? I'm sure most of them wouldn't waste their energy during pre-rut, but you never really know with the inexperienced deer. I have been lucky so far to have avoided confrontations over does. I have been wary, though I do not carry the scent of rut, when approaching does accompanied by stags. Although, when full rut comes I do not plan on being around any stag.

I recognize your picto but
That set was completely by accident too. I was just spell spammed which resulted in me becoming quite fond of the end result.
