What did you do to it? Did you get it damp, or drop it, or is it cold?

My phone did the same thing and I opened up the battery pack and on this little patch of whatever (forgot what it's called) that's supposed to be white, but it was red. I took it to my brother in law and he said it was because it had gotten wet/damp. Mine was because I accidentally dropped it in a creek, lol, but check and see if that is the case. /doesnotknowipodanatomy>w<
