When your the happiest boy but everything is falling apart around you.

Has felt a sense of wholeness after the return of his father, remembering how things used to be and how easy it is for the Neon is slip back into the old routines. Though he didn't realise it before now, the constant food supply in the den and presence of a parent was something he'd missed dearly. The pack in general was something he'd missed dearly. But time has a tendency to make things wither.

Watched a brief altercation between Adel and Winter Rose. Didn't get involved as he himself was distracted by the return of their father.

Spoke with his father, asking the difficult question of whether or not he'll stay now. Content with the vague answer, though others might not have been satisfied. Dev is a simple bean.

Spending more time with Starless, picking up on the other's emotion and choosing to remain by their side one night.

Then hell broke loose as a tense moment between Starless and Winter Rose turned into a scuffle and then a chase. Didn't know the meaning behind it because he's dumb with words, but was surprised to see Winter Rose start it. And coupled with Adel's behaviour around the snow pelt, is seeing Winter Rose as the instigator.

Anxiety ridden with the scent of blood from both of his friends. Fearful to approach with the atmosphere and shouting that erupted from Winter Rose as she screamed at Devani. Reactive to the scene in his own way by pacing and whining, even moreso when his father left the area. Eventually slunk over to Winter Rose first who'd taken refuge by her den near the playground. Riddled with more anxiety at the sight of her leg and his inability to help. Knows his saliva is bad for others not of his blood, so was resigned to whine and feel helpless before the snow pelt left this world through a portal.

Ventured over to Starless afterwards, eyeing Devani to make sure it was okay to do so. Saw his face was bloody and once more fought the urge to lick at the wounds, so ended up resting his head on the others' back, away from Starless' face. Returned to the cyber den after with Starless in tow.

Had a familiar face join later (Pyriel). A fresh face, a good distraction. Calmed immensely.

After a reunion with his sister, scoured the forest for anyone else he might recognise. Aware of the absent faces, and that the amount of those 'missing' are gradually increasing. Saddened in the moment when thinking of the faded scents, though quick to move on and hopeful of their return one day. Always hopeful.

Eyeballed two individuals (Sindile & Alpha) when making his rounds, and after sitting alone at his den for a while, decided to finally go over. Craving company. Perhaps felt some familiarity with their canine appearances, which for him at least made the interaction smoother. Didn't pick up on any awkward vibes and more or less invited himself to sit with the pair. And from there a conversation started.

Learnt a lot. Words he'd never heard before and the grim topic of death. Though it isn't clear how much of this he's going to remember in the long run, it was somewhat eye opening and even stressful to know that when someone doesn't wake up again, its permanent.

Met newer faces as the conversation progressed (Pagan, Jude, Levant, Noelani). Curious of all, and trying his best to pay attention as others spoke, bless his smol brain.
