Nidhoggr is very feral, and acts like it most of the time. He loves to hunt and chase, and cannot help but chase after those who run away from him. He's usually rather passive unless you approach him and start an interaction with him. If you gallop away after a short time, he will chase after you with full intentions to maul and eat you. There are only a few he will not hunt, and will only chase playfully. Nidhoggr preys on all, but only when they are alone and vulnerable. He will not hunt groups. He refers to himself in third person, and often gives others silly nicknames.
Facts: I. Noises and Calls: II. Stalks only one or two deer at a time. A group means confusion and hard to hunt. One is easy prey. If it runs, there is less confusion III. Generally passive until someone taunts or makes aggressive actions towards him. Won't fight if they're around groups of deer, will just yell at them and run off. IIII. Doesn't bow, doesn't understand it. Greets by sniffing and then screeching in their face. Combines taunts with actions when he gets confused. IIIII. Ground scratch + Nod + Another emote = Do what I do.
Levana
Levana is Nidhoggr's "Fawnie". He is very protective over her, and follows her around like a lost puppy. Becomes enraged whenever people try to either separate them or hurt her.
Illrose
At first a very wary attitude towards, only tolerated because of Levana. However, after Illrose helped fight off predators to save Levana, Nidhoggr has a deep respect for her.
@everyone; thanks guys! ;w; he probably won't be around super often, but i'll try to plop him in every now and then.
@brokenribbon; omg no its okay! i have to say i definitely was not expecting a fight my first day back in the forest, LOL. i felt like such a dork, hitting the wrong buttons and clicking out of the window. WHOOPS!!!
Two grey eyes full of excitement looked at the beast besides her as the tiny fawn created a smirk of mischief upon her lips. Ofcourse now that he sat down, she had to climb onto the mountain of dark fur. It took the small female a few tries and stumbling down before she managed to get upon his back, a bright smile decorating her features as she nuzzled the back of his neck; letting the fur tickle her nose before she eventually plopped down, her legs sprawled out on both sides of the Mioxris. She was making sure he would never be able to slip away from her like he had once done before.
The fawn was happy that he had returned, that she had her guardian and closest friend back with her and she couldn't be any more gratefull. The bond she had with the predator was something unexplainable, something so deep and strong it would be hard for someone to break it. He was the light in her life and without him she would be lost.
[Don't have to respond to this :3 Just wanted to throw it here becayse Lev & I are so happy he's back.]
It was really unknown where Nidhoggr had gone in his absence- maybe he'd been nearby this whole time, or maybe, he'd gone to hunt in another forest to spare the inhabitants the smallest amount of pity that the beast could manage. He had believed Levana to be in good hands, though wary at first, his trust in Illrose had been heightened. She would definitely protect his little Fawnie, and he had no doubts about it. What he hadn't anticipated, maybe due to his lack of empathy, was how emotionally it would wreck the small one. Upon arriving back, he had been initially very confused at her reaction towards him. Disbelief, then anger, then happiness. Were all fawns this confusing? Nidhoggr would never understand them, let alone understand this fawn's fascination with something as dangerous and smelly as him. She was nothing special, just a deer, food, and yet there she was, fearless.
He lay still, quiet, his eyes closed as Levana clung to him and used him effectively as a bed. Ears swiveled back, his sides heaved, the bruises from the tussle days ago still causing him some pain, but nothing he couldn't endure. She was here, and she was safe. That was all Nidhoggr cared for. Maybe it was some morbid fascination, something wrong, to have such a fixation on this fawn. She was not his child, nor did he consider her as such. She was his, and that was all the predatory beast thought about. Even now, if it stripped him of every single ounce of his fear-factor by allowing the fawn to manhandle him as such, he didn't care. She could do as she wanted with him, Fawnie gets what Fawnie wants.
