They had never seen anything like him. The other fawns in the forest always seemed to be running about, calling out to one another, making a nuisance of themselves, but this fawn that had been dropped into their den slept peacefully and did not stir. Where had his mother gone? Why had she left him here? Days passed, and still she did not return, and they all began to worry. None of them knew a thing about raising a fawn, but... without their love and care, he would never survive. What choice did the rabbits have but to accept him into their family? Due to his coat colour, which was slightly darker than that of other fawns the'd seen, they named him Adrien, which means "The Dark One," and they raised him, a deer, as their own son.

personality: Wise and firm, Isaac guides his family along the path of spiritual devotion and teaches each of his children to follow the laws of the Forest and to respect the gods and their helpers. This does not mean that he is without a soft side. He is never too busy to spend time with his family and often tells them stories and sings songs. He was the one who deemed it necessary to care for young Adrien when he was found, though he never expected that he'd end up calling him his son.

gender: female (doe)
age: old
personality: She is always patient and kind, even when the children annoy her. She doesn't let her anger show, but she will not hesitate to correct younger rabbits, whether they are her own children (including Adrien) or somebunny else's, when they misbehave or make mistakes. Among rabbits her own age or older, or other species, however, she is more shy and quiet. She tries not to ever let anyone know if she is upset, and she refuses to allow herself to cry, even if she's alone. It was her idea to adopt Adrien and she who gave him his name.

personality: He's kind and intelligent, but his priorities are a little out-of-whack. Like many young bucks, Anthurium listens to his "heart" more often than his brain and gets himself into all sorts of trouble for the sake of having fun. He got his ironic nickname after he teased an owl and lost his tail to its angry talons.

personality: Mazus is more cautious and spiritual than his litter-brother Anthurium. He is smaller and not as athletic, so he prefers to spend his time studying and gathering herbs and looking out for the younger bunnies in the colony.

personality: Campion is a loving and caring rabbit and wants to be a big-sister figure for all of the younger bunnies in the colony, but because she is so used to dealing with Anthurium's nonsense, she can be a bit bossy sometimes. She worries about the safety of others often. When Adrien left the colony to seek out other deer, she was so distressed that she secretly cried, worrying that her little brother wouldn't be okay on his own.

personality: Her curiosity and shyness are constantly battling, as she always wants to see what everyone else is doing, but if caught looking, she will run away and hide. The only creature she will directly ask questions of is her Mama, and she asks her lots of silly questions every day, to the point that poor Arminta just wishes she would go bother somebunny else for a while.

personality: He is full of energy and is always hopping along after someone, telling stories and singing songs about everything he sees. He is quick to make friends and doesn't seem to care about differences in species or gender. Adrien is his favourite cousin, and he follows him often; he even tried to leave with him, but Moss's mother quickly noticed and stopped him.
