I believe that's your Pega sitting next to my Fusion. I want to thank you greatly, as she's been feeling very upset lately. The company of a small fawn makes her feel much better. <3
"You're an adorable tiny thing, you know that?" Fusion said with a smile, mussing Pega's hair. The doe was able to relax around this fawn, one of the few creatures she didn't have to have her guard up around. "I'm sorry I fall asleep so much. I've been awake a long time, so now I'm trying to catch up on my sleep. I should be ready to play and have lots of fun in a little while, how does that sound?" She didn't know if Pega could understand her, but babytalking to the fawn seemed like the normal thing to do.
It was true that Fusions words flitted right over his head, the fawn content with blowing saliva bubbles and then popping them with his tongue quietly as she spoke and touched at his thick, bushy hair. He did understand a few words, being he had the mentality of a 2 year old by now. Glancing up at her with his iced blue eyes he flashed a broad little grin at the words play and fun, though he didn't really understand why they followed on from the word sleep.
Inhaling through his nose he then let out a very long; "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" until he ran out of breath to keep making the noise. Seemingly pleased with his own response he scrunched up his face into another grin at her, and resumed stretching his mouth to create the thin web of a saliva bubble.

Fusion giggled at the little noise he made, smiling back at him. "You're so sweet," The doe said again, nuzzing Pega. She set her head on the ground, kind of wrapping around him with her body. "My name. My name is Fusion. Fusion." Again she repeated the main word, slowing down and stretching out the syllables of her name for him to hear easier. "Fusion is me." A pause. "Do you have a name, little one? Name?" Fusion asked, repeating the main word so he hopefully would know what she was looking for.
He babbled to himself quietly at the second rub and compliment, understanding by tone and rough hashing she was speaking fondly of him. His large fluffy ears flicked to her in response when she gave her name. For a long time he just sort of emptily stared at her before nodding like an overexcited dog toy;
"FusionFusionFusion!" Though it was coming out more as "Fooshun." Another flick of his large ears and a scrunch of his face into the broad grin "PegAAHHH! PegaPegaPegaPega!"
Again, seemingly content, Pega squirmed onto his short mars-bar sized legs and started hopping in a circle as if the excitement of it all was too much for him.
Pega... So he did have a name, that was good. Sitting up, she watched the fawn bounce around, giggling at him. It felt so good to laugh again, to be happy. The feeling was great! She glanced down at the flowers around them, one of the many hyacinth patches scattered around this forest. Nosing below the flowers she found, growing close to the ground, patches of clover.
The doe picked the white flowers growing within the clover patch, pulling them up and setting them to the side. She tried playing around with the long stems of the clover flowers and soon enough, after many a broken flower, found a way to tie the stems together. She remembered her mother showing her how to do this a long time ago, but her mother had had fingers.
It only took two to three flowers to make it long enough, but the doe was able to loop the stems around, tying the first and the last one together to make a little circlet. "Hey Pega?" Fusion said to the little, bubbly fawn. "You want to try this on? Flowers go on your head."
Pega had been watching in interest as she gathered and then started to weave them together. He made a game out of snaffling up any she discarded from their broken stem and popped-off-buds. He'd spit them out mostly however, but after a while took to prancing around her with large leaps considering he was the size of a rabbit, and thus disappeared in the long flowers when he strayed into them.
Her voice distracted him though, his small fluffy tail flicking as he glanced over, let out an indistinguishable bleat of excitement and pranced over. Shoving his poofy head in her direction as if awaiting the crowning, grinning like a Cheshire kitten.
Fusion giggle at his grin, trying to stifle her laughing. She needed to be around this baby more often, he just lifted her mood like a balloon! "Here," the doe said, motioning to the circlet. "Now you'll be pretty and smell pretty, too." With that, Fusion leaned forward and let the flowers fall to his head, landing neatly. Pega looked like he was wearing a crown.
