"May I ask why your appearance is so striking? I don't know how to explain it but there is something in your eyes that fascinates me.."
he felt rather embarrassed asking that but in the worst case she would simpy walk away and Alain was always a curious and honest person.

Her ears pricked when he questioned her and a small grin spread across her muzzle. "My eyes, hm? Unluckily for you, you are only allowed to see this eye." She winked her left blue eye and giggled. "As for the rest of my appearance... I'm basically a combination of my parents. I have a similar pattern as my mother, but the colors of my father."

The dark bull grinned when he saw that his compliment was appreciated. "You're welcome Noemi." Proud to have the company of such a pretty doe he lifted his head again to let the sun shine on his ivory skull, still focusing the doe. "So? Why am I not allowed to see your other eye?" Alain assumed scars or something similar. When she spoke of her parents he could only imagine what striking appearances they have to be.
"I bet you form a quite lovely family, no?"

Noemi's smile returned to being sly. "Basically, if I look at you with that eye, really bad stuff will happen to you... as if I could be any more vague, hah." She needed to keep her air of mystery! Even though it may keep Alain curious, and she didn't want him to see it. Not for now, at least.
When the stag mentioned the word family, Noemi's smile disappeared and her blue gaze avoided him. "We're not a family. Not really. I am my parents' daughter, but my mother is not his mate. He is mated to someone else. I haven't met the other doe yet so I'm not going to decide whether or not I like her - you'd assume that I wouldn't like her because she's keeping my family apart, but for all I know, she makes my father happier than my mother does and all I want is for him to be happy." She shrugged and glanced back at Alain.

Alice stood silently behind a large birch tree watching Alain. Her ears were pinned tightly to her head and her legs shook a little under. She waited for what felt like forever for the others to leave. She would not go till she could tell him she was sorry for leaving when he came over. Her back legs buckled under her and she sat on the ground. Her green eyes reflected everything around her not giving any hints of what she was thinking.

Alain's ears flicked backwards. Really bad stuff? Hah I hope she isn't joking because that sounds damn interesting. he thought and slightly touched her hair with his skull that hides her right eye. He could have easily moved her hair to the side, it was too tempting. But instead of doing this forbidden action he chuckled and went back to his previous position.
He listened to her words and he felt quite sorry for her but proud at the same time 'cause she had such a grown up view. "That's really nice to hear. I love how you see these things, Noemi.
Do you want to get to know your father's mate? Or would it be odd?"
Alain asked and tilted his head slightly.

The stag noticed Alice nearby but didn't move. Sure he was worried why the doe was limping but he would never leave his friends alone to go to an acquaintance. He always will favour closer friends.
Further Alice was quite confusing and he doesn't know what to think of her so he stayed with his pretty doe called Noemi and the interesting doe named Evania.

Noemi froze when he touched

Noemi froze when he touched her hair. She watched him with her blue eye, waiting for him to make his decision about whether or not he'd move it and cause his own agony. She felt mildly relieved when he pulled away, but a twisted part of her had wanted to see what would've happened.
The doe's ears pricked when he spoke, and she smiled at his words. "Thanks, Alain." When he talked about wanting to get to know her father's mate, Noemi paused for a moment before speaking. "I kind of do want to get to know her. If my father loves her so, then I want to know more about her. I'm not sure if she'd like me at all, considering she and my mother didn't exactly get along."
Noemi tilted her head and looked curiously at Alain. "Do you have a family?" she asked the stag.
