Spent most of the day sleeping in the birch, and was surprised to find Eiros sitting near him when he awoke. They had a long and bewildering talk, leaving Soona to ponder even deeper than he had at the time of the incident. They strolled through the forest to clear both of their heads. Later rested in the birch, only to have Soona be spooked by Saburo. Soona eventually took his leave when Eiros was beginning to grow uncomfortable. Left feeling better than he did before, although he wishes he didn't have to leave Eiros.

When he learns to trust another deer, he becomes very loyal to them.

He may become spooked and flee for any reason, especially when strange deer approach or if he's in a crowd.

Likes to sleep in places where he is hidden (tall grass, behind large trees, etc.).

Will retreat to the birch forest if very frightened, for it provides the most cover.

He may become clingy to some deer, especially those that he trusts unconditionally.
At the age of 27, a troubled man took his own life and was placed within the Forest. Through reincarnation, and with a new name, he was given a second chance to lead a fruitful life free of the demons that plagued him while he was a human. However, some of his memories were brought along with him, and although he cannot remember his name or his act of suicide, he remembers the fear and uncertainty that followed him throughout his life.
Soona had been tormented for as long as he could remember, and had always been a social outcast. He only had a couple of friends, one of which who he developed strong feelings for. However, when this friend found out, he had beaten Soona and threatened his life. They never spoke again, and Soona was left scarred and broken. This event was one of the larger contributors to his suicide, as it had haunted him since.
At the age of 17, Soona came out to his parents who promptly threw him out of their home. Alone and afraid, he had nowhere to go and ended up living on the streets for three years. Through a twist of fate, he was taken in by an man a few years older than him who presented Soona with a job opportunity in journalism. Soona lived with the man as he worked, and found that he enjoyed writing. He was beginning to feel at home, at a place where he had always belonged.
Things were wonderful for about a year, and then the man suddenly became abusive. Sexually, mentally and physically he tormented Soona, knowing that the younger man had nowhere else to go. Fearing of losing his home, Soona stayed and lived in fear of his housemate. Two years later, after the other man attempted to murder him in a drunken rage, Soona fled and took refuge at a homeless shelter. He was at his wits' end, with his savings he rented out a meager apartment and lived in paranoid fear that the man who abused him would find him again.
He never did, but Soona never stopped being afraid. Soona remained at the apartment for three years, and during this time he met a man around his age at the local bookstore where he worked. They grew close, and Soona began to feel trust again. The man moved in with him, and they began an intimate relationship. The feeling of love was mutual. Soona never felt so much security in his life, and even threw away the pills that he had begun to take for his extreme anxiety.
A few years later, the man that Soona grew to love was killed in a car crash. From there, everything plummeted. After months of tears, struggle and false hopes, Soona washed down a bottle of sleeping pills with bleach and never woke up.
Well...not in the real world, at least. He woke up in the Forest and felt free of pain, although his fears remained. His struggle to find trust and solace continued to live on in him even in his next life, and he seeks the love and affection of another as he had for so long. Perhaps then, his soul would finally be at peace.

Daneth paced around the sleeping form of the dark doe, Sianna. Scanning the horizon for any threatening deer that may try to approach. He was agitated and fidgety here, where so many deer frequented. He’d already had to protect the doe multiple times from those who had tried to harm her. When the blue buck approached he kept his eye on him, he seemed mostly harmless. Daneth even gave a slight nod, but otherwise ignored him. As long as he didn’t get too close, Daneth would not bother him.
But then he moved in a distance, that made Daneth’s irritation flair. “That’s close enough there, young buck.” he said, a low growl in his deep voice. “Keep your distance. “ His nerves where frazzled. It wouldn't take much to make the usually docile stag explode at this stage.

((LOL right after I posted this, Soona moved in for a sniff, Daneth jumped up and went all rage on the poor guy! Good timing, lol))

Soona had recognized the hulking stag from afar, and for reasons beyond him he decided to approach. The one named Daneth was polite to him yesterday, and although Soona initially felt uncertainty, his fears were quelled when Daneth had bowed to him and allowed him to sit near him and the doe that was in his company. The blue buck had felt a great sense of relief; the feeling of acceptance was wonderful. But now, Daneth seemed...different. He was in the company of another doe now, and appeared to be very protective of her. Against the naive stag's better judgment, Soona had approached and offered a bow, hoping that Daneth recognized him. The larger stag had acknowledged him, but did nothing more. Soona had contemplated leaving, but at that moment he wished to be in a familiar deer's company. He was already given a scare when an unknowing fawn cast forest magic on him.
Daneth's voice was booming and commanding, and Soona backed up a step, his heart pounding. "I-I'm s-sorry...I mean no h-harm. D-do you re-remember m-me?" Soona stammered nervously, his stutter coming out in his frightened state. He felt hurt that Daneth would treat him like this when the piebald stag was comfortable having him near the previous evening. What had he done wrong?
Daneth observed the timid buck with a cautious eye. He did recognize him now. He remembered sitting with him at the playground with Mauv the day before. He had been a hesitant fearful buck. But Daneth was still too agitated by the surrounding activity and the collapsed doe at his feet to let ANYONE near. His ears swiveled and flicked, he shot anxious glances to his dark doe. Sianna was defenseless. He knew there were plenty of deer who hated her, she would be an easy target in her defenseless state. He would never usually be aggressive towards weaker deer like this stag, but it was not himself he had to worry about. In nature, he was usually courteous and gentlemanly, it aggrieved him to have to be so gruff.
“I remember you,” he said, his voice stern and unyielding. He remained standing between the young buck and the doe.
The smaller stag blinked in surprise when Daneth spoke again. He did not expect him to respond, although his voice still held distrust and annoyance. Respectfully, Soona backed up a couple more steps until he felt the security of a nearby tree's trunk at his side. "You...you do?" he replied softly, his ears swiveling as well in nervousness. Daneth wasn't making anymore aggressive advances...that was good. Soona felt a little calmer, but not much. He was still tensed, ready to fly at any sudden movement.
"I-I doubt that you care very much, b-but...my name is S-Soona," he continued, offering a weak smile. His legs visibly shook, and he was pretty sure Daneth could hear his heart pounding from where he stood.
The young buck was very afraid. Daneth could see his tremble and his nervous backing. He would usually defend a deer like that. Go out of his way to make sure they were not trampled on. But he would not leave Sianna’s side. And he could not let anyone too close. Still, his demeanor softened by a degree. “I am Daneth,” he said, and gave another slight nod. He stood another moment more, his body language still saying, “Keep your distance.” Then he turned to Sianna, and laid down next to her still form. Watching all around them. He kept the buck in his sights at the edge of his vision. As long as he didn’t try to come closer he would tolerate the skittish deer.

Once more, Soona was surprised when Daneth decided to introduce himself in return...and with a softer tone in his voice, no less. "Pleased to meet you," the blue stag replied with a small smile. He could read the larger stag's body language loud and clear, and so he remained where he was. Giving a half bow, he watched Daneth settled beside the doe once more, noticing how the piebald stag's ears twisted in every direction. He was very protective of the doe; it was admirable, really. Soona truly respected Daneth for his power and dedication. With a heavy sigh, Soona settled onto the ground and curled his body around the tree trunk. He was tired, but he did not wish to sleep just yet as he was in the open. Yet, he didn't feel like leaving. Rather, he was content to lay where he was, his ears swiveling as well in case if he needed to catch the sound of hooves thundering his way. Perhaps then he would run, like he always would.

Poor Soona, Daneth wasn’t sure what was going on with the two white deer but he didn’t like it! They sort of remind me of the two Night at the Roxbury brothers, ROTFL. And Daneth’s the club bouncer. ^^

XD They actually meant no harm; they tried to be friendly, but even when Soona cowered and ran they pursued him and wouldn't leave him alone. I don't think they realized he was actually afraid, whoops! :< Haha, right?! Dane would make the best bouncer ever; he's huge! XD
LOL Yeah. They thought he looked cute and just wanted to rub on him a little bit. When Soona started running, they treated it like a game and only figured he was pretending to be scared for the sake of the game, y'know? <3
