@uwharrie
It's alright! He saw Honeyfur all hurt and his boss all distressed, so he took it upon himself to keep an eye out from higher ground. He knows what it's like to be dying, and took pity on the situation.
@Wingeddeer
Not a problem, he understands. He has someone he's very protective of as well. As I stated above, he knows what it's like to be dying, and wanted to help the situation the best he could. He took no offense.
@Honeyfur
You're welcome! He's totally up to helping deer in need, even though he can be a total douche/show off a lot of the time. Hope things go well. :3
"Hm, thank you for keeping me company today." Illrose silently spoke to the stag. She had seen him around the last couple of days, and had slowly grown curious about him - but also suspicious, since he seem to act very aggressive toward Gustiro.
"Mmyeah, don't mention it." The stag answered, shifting his body into a more comfortable positon before gazing upwards. "I did my best to chase the ignorant twat away, but he seems damn well set on gettin' near you." If he was able to smirk at this point, you can be damn sure he would be.
The doe gave a simple nod, then her ears twitched when Gustiro was mentioned - or at least, Illrose understood it was him the stag was referring to. "Yeah, about that...I do appreciate your help, but I would prefer to take care of it myself. And I guess I'm to blame as well for the way he behaves, but please, I think it's better if I take care of him in the future - if a similar situation should occur." Illrose then looked at the stag, with her head slightly tilted. "What is your name?"
The stag snorted through his empty nostrils before nodding briskly, seeming somewhat hestitant in his answer, "Tchhh, well whatever you want there, babe. I just could see he was chasing you down, and I hate that shit." He rolled his eyes behind his skull face at the very thought of Gustiro's ignorance, but if this is what the doe wanted, who was he to tell her other wise. "My name is Judas. Though I guess I should have told you that first off. Whatever. What's yours?"
"He wasn't really chasing me, we just...had an disagreement." Illrose answered with a shrug. To say Gustiro chased her made her sound so weak...like those skittish little minis she had used to chase when she was bored and had nothing else to do. But that was a long time ago. She looked back at the stag, who presented himself as Judas. "My name is Illrose." A slight smile appeared on her lips, but the gesture were hidden behind her skull mask, a mask that itself had a never-fading smile on it.
"A disagreement? Well I guess everyone has those with others." His answer seemed almost detached, as if he couldn't understand the concept. Years of isolation could do this to a stag. He paused for a moment, taking his moment of silence to glance around to make sure no sign of Gustiro, his attention now fully on the doe in front of him. "Well Illrose, whatever you two are mad and fighting over, it's sure as hell gotten the forest all riled up. Not that you need much protecting, but you think you'll be okay out there?" The poor stag, though he wanted to, couldn't return his acquaintance's bright smile. He would if he had enough muscle left in his face to do so though, so for now all he could do was tilt in head in curiosity.
"Hm, probably." She agreed with a nod, although the way the stag said it, it seemed like everyone else had disagreements - just not him. She didn't bother to dwell by this, only chuckled, although it was a hollow sound. "This place don't need much to get riled up. And they don't know how to stay out of business that isn't theirs. And I will be alright, don't worry." Illrose wasn't sure she did appreciate the question. It was obvious she could take care of herself, wasn't it?
Tch, yeah. I get you. Like I said, you don't seem to need much protecting anyways. The stag glanced over his shoulder at another deer passing before heaving a sigh out from his lungs. Oh well, it was worth a try. This whole chivalrous thing is harder than I thought. He grumbled behind his teeth, Though Mr. Boss Man said it's the rule for does. So. Whatever.
"Yeah, I heard you. And I'm glad you see that." Hopefully everyone else did as well. If she ever ran from a fight it was simply to avoid the fight itself, not because she fled...unless she was outnumbered by too many deer, Illrose could still remember the one time that happened. Not fun. "I recommend you to save that kind of chivalry to the does that actually need it. I bet they'll swoon when being rescued by a stag like you." A somewhat teasing smile hid behind her mask, and she chuckled slightly. But then Illrose perked her ears, curious. "What boss? You have a boss? And what rules?"
"Ohoho, is that how it is?" He stag leaned in a little closer, thoroughly amused he could actually find someone to give him a run for his money. That hasn't happened in a while. "I can assure you I've woo'd my fair share of does over the centuries I've been back on earth, so don't you worry." A hollow chuckle broke his fake serious tone, going back to his original position before answering her question, "I'm sure you've heard of him. He goes by the name of Crucio. He likes to make himself well known around the forest.
Illrose chuckled again. "No idea, to be honest. I don't know many does that can't defend themselves." Her curiosity was sparked immediately when Judas spoke of centuries. "Hah, I bet you have. But you must be something else than a regular deer if you have lived for centuries." He could be pretty much anything, Illrose had seen and heard to much to really be surprised anymore. She then gave a nod. "Yes, him I've heard of. He seem nice."
Judas nodded to himself, his gaze still resting on the odd doe in front of him as he spoke again,"I really can't call myself a regular deer, no. I've been dead for centuries. Crucio brought me back a long time ago to help him do his dirty work. I've been doing it ever since." That grin forever planted on the skull made his explain look almost sinister in nature, a low chuckle only adding to the mood. "He's alright yeah, when he's not barking orders at me like I'm some slave or something."
She looked at him curiously. "What were you before you died? Were you a regular deer then?" She asked. She couldn't really believe why anyone would let someone else give them orders and decide what to do, but, it was perhaps different when one was bought back to life for this reason. She chuckled. "I think I must have missed that side of him, cause I can't really see Crucio barking at anyone."
( I'm sorry Illrose suddenly got very distracted, she found out her adopted son is sick and got very protective over him. D: )
He chuckled quietly before offering the doe a nod. "Mm. Just a normal deer. Walk around a bit, eat some grass, sleep, eat some more grass. Pine cones. Yep." Illrose's comment about Crucio made him laugh loudly, shaking his head amused. "He can order someone around if he really needs to. He lets me do my own thing unless there's something really big going on. Otherwise I don't have much to worry about. "
(Don't worry about it! Judas is just in a bit of a bad mood after Gustiro and four other deer ganged up on him at once. So not only is he on high alert, but little things are bugging him. xD;; No offense taken~))
"Hm, you must be one of the first I meet that was just a regular deer among those that have lived a life outside the forest, before they came here." She commented. Not that it was a bad thing, not at all. It was just kinda weird, how creatures that had been something completely different could end up being some kind of deer in an endless forest, herself included. "Well, that is a good thing, I guess. I don't think I could've handled a boss that were at my heels all the time." Not that she could've handled a boss ever, but...still.
( Awh, yeah, I read in his bio he had been fighting them, poor guy. :c )
"Eh, whatever. I was just wonderin' if he was comin' at me or something when bam, big ol' fight in my face." The stag shrugged, it didn't really bug him too much really. He's seen far too much of this sort of thing.
(I figured, I saw the bio and was like oooh, I'm honored~ and fff. I JUST REMEMBERED THIS FACT ACTUALLY oh god i am dumb)
"I can't really speak for his motives. He may have just felt like attacking someone." She replied as she looked over her shoulder, the massive figure a ways off from them. The doe focused on the golden stag again. "Are you injured?"
"Like I said. I ain't bothered it. If he wants to throw his little fit, let him." If the stag could smirk, he'd have one hell of a big one on his face. Nah, I'm alright. A cut or two, and my leg hurts a bit, but I'm pretty used to this crap.
(WELL it helps me not be as nervous going to your profile and stuf ahahah. <<;; )
That was my doe Herla with you earlier. She has been badly drained by Zorn and was looking for some friendly deer to lay down next too. Thanks for looking out for her when she wandered too close to the Lich King.
@Jala - I'm glad you both could enjoy his presence a bit. He may be an arrogant dick, but he tries to be a little polite towards does. Plus she showed him a little kindness after the Lich King thing. Judas couldn't resist. xD;;
@Uruushou - Oh hi Liam~
@Sighthoundlady - I remember taking a look at Herla's bio and saw she was kinda drained out and such. :C Poor girl. Judas was pretty amused by her wanting his attention, so all is well in the end. As for the Lich King thing, he didn't wanna see a little doe like that get hurt. Him and Lich got in a bit of a fight before hand so he wasn't going to any chances. You're welcome regardless! Your doe was adorable. <3 Feel free to visit him whenever!
Hi there! It's not a problem, and you're more than welcome to. He loves the attention! XD;; He's just a loud obnoxious twit. He likes to make noise to let the world he's here.
I believe he ran into your Galene as well last night, though he wasn't going anywhere near her with Lich King glaring at him like that. Pfft. XD
She had to get away from the group, from her friends and of course her father. Even though he was the first to walk away, she wanted to get away from the anger that was still in the air. If he was upset with her, she certainly wouldn't risk any time being near him. For now at least.
"Tch. Don't worry about it. Your old man's a grumpy ol' hard ass who thinks everyone's a threat." The stag grunted as he sat himself down in front of her. He acted tough, but two battles over the course of a few hours? He was feeling mighty sore. "Don't blame yourself for his issues."
"He's just very protective, is all. I know he means well, but..." She shook her head and chuckled to herself. "..damn." The doe was delighted that underneath the Lich King's cold disposition and temper, he really did care for her like she was his real daughter. Today's events left her exhausted though. She was worried for her new friend's well-being as well.
"I hope you wont get jumped by him left and right,"
