Appearance
Ochiba is an elegant individual with an appearance that speaks of such. With long limbs and large ears, she is a fairly typical marsh deer. She is, however, a piebald and has blue eyes and pink skin underneath her fur, the color being most prevalent on her nose, inner ears, and hooves. Her pelt consists of large white areas and normally pigmented patches, the spotting pattern of which resembles that of an Ochiba Shigure Koi. Six feathers sprout from the back of her head, three on each side, and they have an almost fin-like quality to them. They may be raised, lowered, or splayed with so much as a small smirk or smile. She will also often wear a water lily behind her left ear, a gift from her mate Takeshi.

Haunts
Ochiba appears to have an affinity for the pond and its inhabitants and may often be found near the water's edge. She has also taken a liking to the birch forest and will often rest under its watch or go there to spend quiet time with family and friends.

She'd been sleeping soundly
She'd been sleeping soundly that morning, and Takeshi had been awake for a while, simply content to watch her sleep. She looked so peaceful, happy. It'd been a stressful past couple of weeks for them, and to see her this way made Takeshi smile, even if she was simply resting for the moment.
As quietly as any stag can, he stood, and made his way through the forest, inspecting every flower patch until he'd found a small patch of flowers growing on their own that made him smile. Gently he picked one, walking back to his mate.
He lay down beside her, tucking the dahlia between her forelegs, hoping the fragrant scent would soon wake her with a smile. She'd always been patient wit him, only gently teasing him. But he knew she did it out of love.

OOKY HOW DID I MISS THAT.
The air was cool and crisp- the beginning of autumn weather. Takeshi awoke slowly, eyes blinking out the sleep, ears flickering immediately to take in his surroundings. The rut would soon be in full force. This year, however, his instincts had waned; he had all he needed in a little piebald doe beside him. She slept peacefully- well, at least he hoped so- beside him, curled up tightly to conserve heat between the two.
Sometimes he wondered what exactly went on in that head of hers. He had taken his mask off for the night; gently he kissed the top of her head, smoothing out a few strands of hair beside her ear. Then he shifted to more comfortable position to keep her warm and watched the stags around him get hyped up for the day.
