She noticed the poor

She noticed the poor condition his pelt was in, and itched to clean it for the stag. She shook off the feeling and walked to the edge of the pond a few feet away from him. There was something in the air, like a hard wait pushing on her shoulders, and she sat, not exaclty facing him. "No company is inadequate. For me anway. Especially when ones mind seems to be needing a distraction.." The doe again ruffled her wings, and licked a few feathers clean. She glanced over at the stag, not sure how he could go so long without grooming. Something was wrong, but with what? She couldn't decide.

"Needing a distraction?" he

"Needing a distraction?" he repeated slowly, as if the idea hadn't occurred to him. Really, it hadn't. His thoughts were so numb, he barely even noticed the ache in his mind... But it was there, all the same. His eyes drifted away from the doe, turning inward once again. Whether he didn't see the cleaning display, or whether he saw and didn't care, his feathers remained untouched, and he resumed picking vegetation from the ground nearby.

I will admit, I'm not that

I will admit, I'm not *that* familiar with them, since I have a difficult time keeping up with so many different characters in TEF, but I really use as much info as is available on the bios to write the poems. I generally work with the personality traits listed, as well as their general appearance.

Like I mentioned, it really comes naturally for me. I wanted to write something for you since you said you liked my poetry, I hope it was okay I bumped this bio XD

omg I can't belive I'm doing this
It had ben long since Texas had layed his eyes on his big friend Phylux. So it was with big delight that he jumped up in the air and then spurted away to his friend when he saw Phy. His heart was racing with him as he got closer to the big bird and finaly made a sudden stop in front of him. He raised his front legs to get a hold of the beak between them and cuddled happily.
"How i've missed you my trusted friend! Where have you been?"

Phylux blinked, shocked at seeing his little friend appear so suddenly. Shock was quickly replaced with fond affection, and he smiled sadly at the Texas' question. The answer was easy enough. "I have been in a dark place, with very little sunlight. I have missed you, as well. It is good to see you again, little one," he bumped his beak gently against the small buck's forehead. "But that is enough talk of dark times. Tell me, tiny one, about the forest. Has it blossomed while I was away?"

Texas pale blue eyes were happily looking up into the birds as he waited for an answer. Though there was a smile on the big one, there was still something off with it. He tilted his head a bit to the side and let his ears move forward to listen to his friend. His smile faded a little to what he heared from Phylux but was soon replaced with a soft giggle at the bump of affection that he got. "Well, I'm glad that you're back. I've missed you so much." He smiled and nuzzled closer to the warm body. "And to tell you the truth, I don't really know if it's blossomed or not. The only thing that I have noticed is that there seem to be a bit of hormones running wild among the deer now, so I stay away in safe distance."

"Hormones?" Phylux asked,

"Hormones?" Phylux asked, cocking his head slightly. He remembered the word vaguely from his past life. Human boys singing to young girls. Love letters. ...Short skirts. Phylux snorted. "Hormones" usually signaled the end of his duties. The beginning of adulthood. Interesting, in a way, that this would follow him here. If hormones were high in the forest, then perhaps this was a signal for him to end his past duties. A moving on, of sorts.

Or perhaps, he was reading too much into things... "Do tell," he encouraged, beginning a trek toward the pond. They could talk along the way.

"Y-yes.." Texas looked up at the big creature in front of him with slight curiosity. The bird looked like he was in deep thoughts. A slight smile pased Texas lips as he watched the bird and then skiped after Phy eagerly to the pond.
"Well..haven't you been here before when these kind of things happens?" he asked curiosly as he glanced at the bird.
