Updates september 27th, 2022;
Fixing a lot of stuff around on bios while I try to get back into things <3
Tried to get back into TEF last year as well, but then my dog's health declined and in the beginning of december last year she had to be put down, my best friend for close to 15 years.
This took such a heavy toll on me and I think was a major reason for why I was unable to get back into TEF. But yeah, new attempt! So if you ever spot any of my characters in the forest, pls don't be afraid to say hello to them or poke me on discord or something <3

"m... my bad.." she mumbled, now recognizing her mistake.
Oh this place was so confusing. Does looking like stags, stags having no antlers....
She blinked, a strained look on her face. So she indeed had met that doe before.
Hm... actually she had hoped she was mistaken this time and she didn't know this one at all.
"I... don't?" she replied, half a question, half a confirmation.
A flash in her mind... suddenly she wanted to run away...
She shook her head...
"Uhm... what's your name, miss?" her tiny voice shaking... this black wall in her head... preventing her from seeing her memories... it was so frightening...
Illrose just smiled behind
"No need to apologize, you aren't the first making that mistake." She calmly replied. Even during the rut she had been mistaken for a stag, although her scent should have given her away.
She stepped closer to the other doe, although she expected her to back away again.
"No you don't." She confirmed.
"My name is Illrose, I am a...friend, I guess...of Jack." She then said, lowering her head and shaking her antlers, a habit she had gotten lately.
Indeed, the smaller doe
...her eyes where still pinned to the antlers, she couldn't concentrate on any other features of that doe in front of her.
Jane swallowed.
"A friend... of... Jack..." she repeated. Trying to look into Illrose eyes "We are.... firends too, are we...?" she asked carefully...
... and hoped the answer would be yes.
... else this fear she had... would be for good... and not just reasoning from her mental state and confusion...
Illrose immediately stopped
trying to frighten the doe into running, so she could chase after her. But that was not what she wanted now. She nodded to confirm what Jane repeated, before a new smile formed her lips.
"Of course we are." She replied. Not entirely true, but for Jack's sake she would try to get along with his 'sister' instead of seeing her as a toy she could chase, since he obviously cared so much
about her.

Jane started to smile her shy, childlike smile. Suddenly she talked very fast
"Oh.. then.... then... hi hi... I am sorry Mrs Illrose.... I ... I should remember you but i can't... I... I don't know why, Jack didn't want to tell me, I have no idea what happened, its very confusing, but I will remember soon, yes, I promise, yes." She nodded rapidly, a bright smile on her face.

changed direction. She tilted her head for a moment. So, Jack hadn't told her what happened? Of course he hadn't. Why would he want to tell her that it was him that almost had
killed her? For a brief moment, Illrose wondered what would happen if she told Jane the truth. But no, it would be a really bad thing to do, and Jack would probably hate her forever
if she did that. So she just smiled.
"I'm sorry, I can't help you there. All I know is that you got badly hurt. Jack told me."

The orange stag shook his head, obviously both hurt and disappointed. "You're too good for him, but I guess you have to find that out on your own. Might take a while, but I'll sit tight."

understand him, she would have felt the same if he was the one to befriend Gustiro - the enemy.
"He is not really that bad, Kheiron. If you had tried to get to know him, you would see that too." She replied, saddened when her best friend turned her down like
that. And perhaps Kheiron was right, even though she liked Gustiro, she didn't liked to be just another part of his claimed deer.
Yes, I knew, and I felt so bad for Kheiron. D:
"You know what? I don't care
He didn't look her in the eye simply because he couldn't. Small, regular twitches from his lips indicated that he was having a really hard time keeping himself together.
"You're on top of the food chain, but so is he, just on another level, so to speak. And while being together with him, you can't... you just can't, overcome that guy... Because... Because, guess what? You're the one who... You're degrading yourself in his company!"
He swallowed, and then started mumbling to himself: "Why can't I just listen to him... He's right all the time..."
Then he cleared his voice: "Heh. It's kind of nice. It's like having a promise that you'll never be lonely... I'm not lonely. No... Knowing that there's always someone there... It's nice. Maybe that's your problem."
He suddenly peered at her.
"Oh, listen to me, I'm rambling... Heh..."
He started trembling.

to all that had happened the day before, with the fight with Dinah and all.
"I am not degrading myself. I see Gustiro as an equal, I even did when we were enemies." She replied, still trying to stay calm. She then perked her ears, trying to catch his mumbling,
but was unsuccessful. She tilted her head, confused.
"Maybe what's my problem?" She asked, not catching up with him. She then snorted.
"Yes, you are." Illrose halted for a moment, but then took a few steps closer to Kheiron.
"Please, I don't want to lose my best friend."

"You seem tired. Perhaps you should rest?" Illrose sat down on the ground, not to close to Jane, but not too far away either. Close enough to protect the wounded doe if danger should lurk.
Jack isn't the only to blame, Illrose was a bit tense as well. xD But she figured she don't want to lose anymore friends, Kheiron is already angry at her. x')

while she herself was about to explode in anger. She took a deep breath, as if she tried to calm herself down. She then casted a suspiciously glance at the other doe, not sure if her words were sarcastic or not. She then raised her eyebrows.
"You think so? Let's see how intriguing you think I am when I've smashed that beautiful face of yours." She flattened her ears, before she shook her large antlers, unable to calm down in the presence of this doe.
"What is your name?" She then asked, now with an rather empty voice.

A cold chuckle escaped her
"Don't think too high of yourself now." She replied, and managed to calm down a bit, now that the other doe didn't circle her anymore. A gesture she simply didn't like, at least not from strangers.
"Geisha, of course." What else could have been the name of a doe with such markings in her face? She returned the smirk, but her eyes were cold, and still piercing the other doe.
