||[Updates]||

Yes, I am making another one. With all my deer this time. Again.
Roleplay. Interact. Drop by to say "hi." Introduce yourself or your deer. One-on-on or multiple characters. Detailed or simple. Words or images. Any format. Whatever.
(note that if you do choose to use pictures, I will probably not respond with pictures, because for me it's kind of hard to just whip something up quickly, so it usually takes me too long. Also, I'm too lazy)

[[[Deer Directory]]]
(contains basic info on all my deer, plus bio, picto, and reference links)

---
Don't be shy! Anyone can interact with any of my deer, even if you don't know them!
Never roleplayed before? English isn't your first language? Don't worry about it, just do your best!
It doesn't have to be roleplay format. And it doesn't have to be long paragraphs, either. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with!
The only thing that's important is that I can understand what you're trying to say/do, and who you are interacting with.
If you want me to start, just ask.

[Anything that might get too "mature" can be moved off-site (though it's not likely). Or if anyone would simply prefer to roleplay off-site, let me know. They can be done either on MSN or AIM...or elsewhere if possible.]

He shook his head slowly.

He shook his head slowly. "It's sad that some deer resort to such actions." He frowned. "If I were there...I'd like to think I would have defended you and your friends, but...I know I would have likely just run or cowered... I can't stand fighting. Even seeing others fight frightens me, though I am not entirely sure why exactly."

"It seems so. I think it

"It seems so. I think it would take bravery to be able to face your fears." He smiled a little. "For being shy, you seem to be fairly good at hiding it. When I saw how reluctant you were to join a group, it surprised me a little." He smiled at her again. Really, he thought it was kind of cute, though he wouldn't say so. "But I can understand. I may not be as timid as I was when I was a fawn, but I still feel a little nervous around large groups. But if I am with a friend, I don't mind so much."

((usually this shows as

((usually this shows as having a new comment when one is edited but it didn't do that this time D: ))

He smiled. "I think I told you I used to be afraid of other deer when I was a fawn, didn't I? I was especially frightened of skulls, and would run away from them, until my father showed me it was just a mask. I remember the first time I saw him wearing one. I was horrified. Back then, I used to think that the masks deer wore were there actual faces." He laughed at the memory of his own childish illusions. "I don't remember you seeming shy when I first met you, but I think you were helping a friend at the time. Maybe that is why."

"It wasn't until I met Father

"It wasn't until I met Father that I began to feel more comfortable approaching other deer. He was the first I willingly approached on my own. He helped me quite a bit. I'm not sure if he even realizes just how much." He paused, trying to remember if he had told Celeste about being adopted, and decided he should explain just in case. "I can't remember if I told you that my parents adopted me. I didn't have a family before that. At least, there were none I could find or even remember. But Scape and Zerg have been the best I could have ever asked for."

He listened, frowning in

He listened, frowning in sympathy. "I am sorry. I remember how frightening everything was when I was alone. I was lucky to have met Scape. But it seems there are many deer in this forest without families..." Then he brightened. "But you are right." Something she said grabbed his curiosity, in addition to when she had mentioned having a winter coat in her past life as well as this one. It was curious, because he remembered being something quite different in his past life, but it sounded like she had been much the same. "You were a deer in your previous life as well?"

"No, I was a... a wild horse.

"No, I was a... a wild horse. I suppose that's where I got my personality and some of my physical appearance too...After my mother disappeared and never returned, I lived by myself in the plains. " She stood up and stretched out, then glided onto the mushroom and sat on top of it instead.

"A...horse?" Oisin was sure

"A...horse?" Oisin was sure he should probably know what that was, but he couldn't seem to quite remember any of the creatures found outside of the forest. A fuzzy image of an animal, similar to a deer yet somehow different, appeared in his head. He was sure he had seen them in his previous life. In fact, he had a feeling they were fairly common wherever it was that he had lived.
He stood up, and looked up at Celeste on the mushroom. He remembered climbing one when he was a fawn. Maybe he could do it again. "I can't even really seem to recall what I was. But I am sure it was something quite different." His bad leg made it difficult to stand on his hind legs, but he managed to get his front legs up and onto the mushroom. His leg slipped a little, but fortunately the mushroom wasn't too high, and he was able to pull himself up on top of it. He moved closer to Celeste and sat down.

" I supposed I could try to

" I supposed I could try to describe them... They're a lot like deer, except with a stronger build, they have a mane and a long tail...and they can run quite quickly." She silently wondered if he remembered anything like a horse in his past life. "I was a bit different from the others... no one else had violet eyes. She laughed lightly.

"I do vaguely recall

"I do vaguely recall something like that." He looked at her, at her mane and tail. "I seem to remember them being rather large, though. Some of them, at least. And very strong." He looked at her again, this time looking at her eyes, and he smiled. "You eyes are unique. Even here I do not think there are many with eyes that color. And they are beautiful."
gone's picture

"Oh yes, they're definitely

"Oh yes, they're definitely bigger than...I am now...I was never physically strong, my body was built for speed... I guess my heart made up for that." She cocked one ear forward, one backward. "Thank you...I never thought they were...natural in my old life. Almost as if someone had painted them purple..." She curled up into a fluffy ball.

Want me to pick someone for

Want me to pick someone for Oisín to talk to?

sure Actually I kind of

sure

Actually I kind of forgot about that. ^^;
Pegasicorn's picture

I wasn't sure who to pick, so

I wasn't sure who to pick, so I rolled a dice and got Scape. Is that ok, or would you rather someone else he hasn't talked to?

No, that's fine.

No, that's fine.

[[Alrighties. Starting off

[[Alrighties. Starting off then...]]

Blades of grass made a soft crunching noise under golden hooves as a dark blue stag walked along. He was currently walking away from the pond, heading upstream. Scape had been told that Oisín might need to talk to him, and since Radeon said he often saw him over at the Crying Idol, that was where the Dragonfly Deer was headed. If he wasn't there, then...hopefully he'd find Scape instead, because Scape wasn't sure where else to look. They often found each other by chance, or because Scape was at the pond with the dragonflies so much.

Oisín was laying on his side

Oisín was laying on his side next to the idol. His ears perked up at the sound of approaching hoof-steps, and his eyes opened, blinking as he realized he had dozed off. He lifted his head and gave it a light shake, then stood slowly, stretching as he turned his head around to see who he had heard.
Pegasicorn's picture

Aha, so he was there! Scape's

Aha, so he was there! Scape's walking picked up some speed so he could jump to the other side of the stream - the side Oisín was on - slowing down again when he was close. "Hello, Oisín," he greeted with a bow.

Oisín smiled when he saw it

Oisín smiled when he saw it was Scape that he had heard approaching. "Father. I am glad to see you." He returned the bow, and then moved closer to nuzzle the older stag. "I was hoping I could talk with you."
Pegasicorn's picture

Scape nuzzled his son in

Scape nuzzled his son in return. "Good to see you too."
Ah, so he did want to talk to him. At least Scape wouldn't need to be the one to bring it up. That made things easier. He tilted his head, asking, "What about?" just to be on the safe side in case he would assume wrong about the subject.

The younger stag's smile

The younger stag's smile faded, and his head and ears drooped as he gave a sad sigh. "Celeste has been missing for nearly two months now. It's not like her to simply leave without at least informing someone first, but no one seems to know anything about where she might be. I don't know what to do..."
Pegasicorn's picture

Scape's brows rose. Oh boy...

Scape's brows rose. Oh boy... "You're sure no one has seen her?" This is way too familiar...

Oisin sighed again. "Fairly

Oisin sighed again. "Fairly certain. I have asked. There has been no sign of her in all this time. I am still hoping that she will return some day, but it is getting more difficult to keep that hope."
Pegasicorn's picture

Scape frowned. "I know

Scape frowned. "I know exactly how that is. I was only ok when I was distracted by my friends."

Oisin managed a small smile.

Oisin managed a small smile. "Yes. You and Ourania have been a lot of help in that." His smile then quickly vanished. "The worst part is not knowing anything, not even having any clues to go by. If I could at least have some idea if she is alright or not... I thought of looking for her, but I wouldn't know how or where to begin."
Pegasicorn's picture

He nodded sadly. "Not knowing

He nodded sadly. "Not knowing is the worst part." Two years later, and Scape still didn't know what had happened to Tempo. He hoped Oisín wouldn't have to worry for as long as he had.

He frowned and sat down.

He frowned and sat down. "What do I do? Is there anything I can do besides wait?" There was a hint of desperation in his voice. Oisín was starting to become depressed. This was the second time he'd lost someone, but at least with Poltergeist there wasn't that uncertainty. He didn't know what he would do if Celeste never returned.
Pegasicorn's picture

Scape sighed, sitting beside

Scape sighed, sitting beside his son. "I wish I could tell you there was something else you can do...but I'm afraid waiting is all you can do. There is a point where you'll need to stop waiting and move on, though." The stag shook his head with his next words. "I just can't tell you when that is." He'd waited so many months before finally starting to move on and falling in love again.

[[I'm getting worried about the people behind the deer. I still don't know what happened to Tempo's player. D=]]

Oisín lowered his head to the

Oisín lowered his head to the ground with a sigh. "I'm not sure if I could move on, if she doesn't return. It was difficult enough after Poltergeist... Then I did not doubt I would find someone else. But now that I have, I'm not so sure I could again..."

((Probably just lost interest or something, but there's really no way to know without contacting them. I wish I had gotten an e-mail address from Celeste's player... -_-; ))
Pegasicorn's picture

Scape's ears drooped a bit.

Scape's ears drooped a bit. He wished he knew how to help his son, but there wasn't anything he could think of. "No said you had to find someone else, so don't worry about that."

He lifted his head back up

He lifted his head back up and smiled a little. "I suppose...you are right." He paused to think a bit, turning his head to watch the water. "I should not even be thinking like that at all. Not as long as there is still a chance that Celeste may yet return. I have to try not to forget that..."

It would be really nice if anyone would be willing to try roleplaying with my less active deer or even ones I don't really use in-forest.

I also wouldn't mind trying human RP with some of my deer.

Would anyone be interested in roleplaying with Charles? Either deer or human is fine.

Or anyone, really. If anyone is willing to roleplay at all with any of my deer.
