Can't bear the thought of facing her after losing her daughter, Fenya, to Saul, gutted by her cold reaction when he broke the news of her death to his family.

Unmet. After his mother had described his appearance to him sometime during his childhood, nurtured a small hope that he would be able to eventually pick him out of a crowd. No longer concerned with finding him, though does harbor a bit of envy toward his siblings for knowing their fathers.

Became fast friends with the Jotünn despite a bit of an age gap, easily able to bond with the wolf through their vigorous sparring sessions and limitless endurance that could keep them going for hours. Hesitant in the beginning of Hraustr's tender behavior, has learned to adapt and even express affection of his own toward others in his circle. Looks to the Jotünn for guidance in other things, absorbing all he can of the wisdom he imparts. Remains close to this day and although their sparring sessions are few and far between into adulthood, enjoys smothering and being smothered by the wolf during their lazy days just as much, if not more. A treasured bond.

First encountered the Rust when he approached him rather humbly one afternoon, trying to gauge if Volt happened to be his son. Treated Scorcher with an air of rebellion after that, curious to push the wolf and test his character for his own amusement. That is, until they both found themselves allied under dire circumstances that ultimately ended in their imprisonment. Since the ordeal, holds a great amount of respect as well as reservation toward the Rust, having gleaned a bit of what the wolf is capable of through their shared experiences. A trusted confidant, feels there is no other person who can relate to the trauma he was put through; able to speak about it openly with him, something he struggles to do in the case of his own family. Fond of the male even if at times he has a hard time expressing as much through words or actions.

Tormented the Glutton in his ornery youth alongside Anastasia, but quickly came to pity the child after seeing his mask and learning its function from the miserable beast himself. Didn't see him again until they were older, and the Glutton was free to roam without the mask that had originally disturbed the False Charge to see him wear. Drawn to Bhaelum's gargantuan size and gentle disposition, will often seek him out to snuggle up to whenever he's available, especially in times when finds himself in need of comfort and security. Sees the Glutton as pure of heart and faultless of the crimes others claim; would fight for if need be.

Less of a father figure, more of a playmate, but is the only consistent male presence in the Volt's life so can't make much of a comparison. Enjoys their buoyant rounds of play and finds the Painted's timid mannerisms entertaining. Feels peculiarly protective of him in the same way he is with his own siblings.

A chaperon and willing plaything- a source of enjoyment and a steady presence during his childhood. Fond of the Arrow even if time has seen them grow apart and new relationships have tugged them in different directions. Grateful for her involvement in his and his siblings' lives growing up; considers her part of the family.

Made a life-altering mistake believing he could avenge Ashe and Arcturus by targeting the Hoarfrost in order to punish him for killing his sister's father, only for his effort to grievously backfire on him when the jowjouk retaliated by kidnapping Fenya. Thrown into a series of traumatizing affairs in an attempt to rescue his kid sister. Forced to murder a stranger and carve 'trophies' from the body to appease the Many-Minded, only for him to go back on his word and imprison him within the walls of a shabby metal trailer for weeks. Later witnessed the jowjouk mutilate his sister with one swipe during a showdown with Damien, a blow that ended her life instantly. Tried to blast the Hoarfrost with his fae energy in order to kill him, but the attack rebounded and stopped his heart. Saved by Damien from a demise that would have mirrored his sister's.

Fears the jowjouk enough to fervently avoid, prone to feelings of submission and cowardice that he's not easily able to shake off unless any of his family is under threat of Saul's unpredictable cruelty; in that case, wouldn't hesitate to put his own life before theirs. As it is, goes to great lengths to protect them from the mere idea of him; resorts to withholding details about his capture or flat out lying about it to prevent any proposal of vengeance. Suffers from a handful of mental afflictions and paranoia likely to follow him for the rest of his life, born from his time as the Hoarfrost's captive. Hated and feared to a degree he has never known before.

Despised for his involvement with Saul. Easily riled by the Lamiaceae's scornful regard for him yet finds himself frustratingly allured by his garish appearance in both his forms. Enjoys degrading Summer in a spiteful way and wouldn't hesitate to beat him senseless, could even go as far as killing him depending on what flavorful insult comes out of the aves' mouth. Won't hesitate to attack if spotted.

His victim's brother. Nearly strangled to death one night by the jowjouk during his fit of grief, having uncovered Volt had been the one to slay the man Saul had sent him after. Able to thwart Fain's attack only to stick around out of guilt when Jouska dissolved to tears and angry sputters to do with him being a heartless murderer. Thinks the jowjouk is a little pathetic, but harbors an uneasy suspicion that he could be just like his father, therefore avoids the male; can't look at him without seeing Saul. A source of anxiety.

Burned by the fire horse when he was just a pup. Once feared, now anticipates any sign of him so that he can mount an attack alongside others he has seen pursue him in the past.

Born under a starry night sky as the fourth pup, the middle child, of Fay's litter.

Opened his eyes exactly two weeks ago but didn't develop the motor skills to physically explore his environment until five days later. Inquisitive but cautious. Emboldened by his siblings' antics; feels vulnerable when they're not at his side.

Celebrated the start of a new year with his mother and siblings, a bag of streamers and confetti, and two additions to his primordial concept of family: Jacquelyn and Sloane. Embarked on several inspiring journeys beyond the boundaries of the den, barely learned to tolerate children his own age, and was taught how to bust a few rad dance moves and scent-mark trees in order to find his way back home.

Met a handful of new faces- Lobo, Rajani, Ezekiel, Romulus. Learned the proper way to greet others is with a bow and took up practicing the courtesy, if not downright abusing it, on each of his new acquaintances.

Witnessed family and even a few strangers band together in order to shield him and one other child from the first threat to his life, a flaming horse called Kyrian. Learned pain and quick relief in the form of his mother's blood. The terrible event also triggered his first spurt of fae magic.

Consumed meat for the first time- led by Jack alongside his other siblings to a fresh carcass, the beast Ioten who, unbeknownst to the pups, had murdered the parents of a child he'd met the night before only an hour earlier that day.

Experienced his first lesson in hunting and killing prey, thanks to a cage full of mice and Jacquelyn's demonstration on how to eat them. Taught that killing is only for sustenance and to protect your own life, or someone else's.

Offered a private lesson in combat by Jacquelyn. Although sloppy and overexcited and premature in developing a technique wholly unique to him, it was a good first introduction to conflict.

Met and befriended Hraustr, the Norse king's son, and has taken to sparring with him regularly. Has developed a friendly rivalry and a strong attachment to the Jötunn despite how perplexing he finds his affectionate side.

Unknowingly broached a tender topic while speaking to Hraustr about family, specifically fathers, and realized that he seemed to be missing his. Spent a night in distress before his mother found him and generously divulged the truth about his sire. Learned his name and several identifying features that would aid Volt in locating him someday.

Introduced to Hraustr's father Varg shortly after a conversation he'd had with the Jötunn about learning to fish. Offered a lesson by the High King himself; toted his mother along to observe as they headed down to the pond to fish. Later distracted and amazed by the summoning of a colorful portal as Varg took his leave. Asked Hraustr if he was able to conjure up his own and learned that he could; told to become proficient in fishing if he ever wanted to see the portal again.

Enjoyed a lengthy vacation with his mother and siblings in a world in which he was human. Lived in Fay's tiny apartment, learning all about clothes and a variety of different meals that spanned beyond raw meat. Burned most of the calories during nature hikes and trips to the park. Returned to the Forest some time later to find that Hraustr had grown and surpassed him in his combat training. Barely able to hold his own in a spar.

Grew accustomed to living a dual life within the Forest and the one-bedroom apartment before his mother's boyfriend, Chrona, set them up in a three-bedroom in Erialas. Given access to a public education thanks to Ashe's father, Arcturus, and his support. Initially overwhelmed by the system, but learned to adopt a proper etiquette within the classroom in due time. Bullied for his abnormalities - his birthmarks and his eye - but developed a thick skin and a fighting spirit as well as a certain air of charm that would win the favor of his peers. Learned to combat torment with humor and nonchalance while bottling any pain.

Cocky and full of himself from fights at school, pestered Maggot one day and nearly lost an eye for it. Managed to appeal to the beast in order to worm his way out of the situation. No less daunted by the encounter.
