Pulkaz are magical creatures living in several worlds. They are known for their usual optimistic energy and for their beautiful magical shows. They are a mix of deers and canine creatures, as well as some feline traits.

The pads of their paws have sucker zones that allow them to climb walls and ceilings while standing like if they were still on the ground. They can run on any wall.

Pulkaz are generally optimistic and energetic. They always have positive vibes, except in some rare cases. They are adventurous and a bit clumsy and careless. They do not always pay attention to everything but are very attracted to anything shiny and/or full of colors. They usually flee dark things although some manage to find something positive in them.
Pulkaz are really patient. In fact, some believe that their limits are just a myth as their patience seems limitless. They are very merciful, as well. In their mind world, nobody must be alone so they have the obligation to hold a lonely person company, while loneliness is considered as a threat. Oftentimes, they claim being never disturbed, ready to be available for anyone at any time (easy to say, hard to do).

For a pulka, a family is a clan. Indeed, for them the word “family” does not exist, they prefer the “clan” term. In each clan, they choose a clan leader. Basically the alpha male, called the Nekioni (literally “Male King”). It is the main male of the family. He must not be too young or too old and must be a father with no grandchildren. There is also a Eruwira (literally “Female Queen”) that leads with the Nekioni. Once they reach a certain age, they pass the Nekioni/Eruwira role to their son/daughter and if this one does not have children or a mate yet, they must wait until their parents die to have the roles.
If two pulkaz get married, the two clans get mixed up and their name will be the two names together.
If a male get married, it will be the clan name of his father that will get mixed up with the female’s clan name. Same for the female, if she gets married it will her mother’s clan name that will get mixed up with the male’s.
Pulkaz who like negative and dark things, or have rather negative or dark personality traits are called Eksepcïons (transparent Maritic word for “exceptions”). They are exiled from the community and cannot come back unless they get to change.

Pulkaz are usually not difficult in relations. A pulka will always like/love anyone no matter who they are, what they are and what they did. In fact, if a pulka happens to hate someone, they will also love them. Greatest is the hatred, greatest is the love.

A pulka with no friends does not exist. Indeed, friendship is always in someone’s life and the mental of the pulkaz is such that betrayal is very rare, almost inexistent.

Love with a big L works like the same, except that not everyone has a mate. Yet it can be a bit difficult while there are some cases that occur in which the soulmates are separated due to them not being in the same world and therefore cannot meet each other. Those cases are less common but can still happen.

Pulkaz have a muzzle that is a mix between a deer muzzle and a canine muzzle. They have a long sharp-tipped tail with fur at the tip. On the top of the tip, there is less fur, rather on the extreme tip of the tail. They have thin deer legs with very tiny paws instead of hooves.
The paws do not completely touch the ground, the half of them are raised up, making them only half touching the ground.

Each Pulka has their own haircut that can give a hint about their personality.

The Pulkaz have all specific color spots. They all have the muzzle, legs, chest, belly and the rest of the tail white (only the top at the beginning of the tail is colorful). The other colors vary. All Pulkaz, however, have big dots on their back and their colors give a strange wavy-like effect.

The antlers look a bit like horns; they are composed of two tines. One smaller behind the big one. Like some sort of deer antlers but reversed as they both bend over backwards.

Each Pulka has their own magic speciality. It can be an element, such as Fire, Water, Wind or Earth, but can also represent a feeling, Love, Hate, Joy, Jealousy and so on…
Although it is generally rare to have a Pulka which the speciality is something negative or dark, but it does happen. Those are part of the exceptions (we will see their role in the society right after).
Their magic are usually used for show yet they can do other things if used otherwise, including hurting someone. That is why they have a rule for that.

The Pulkaz are very independent, they do not have a main leader that leads them. Each rule and law in their society is voted and chosen by the entire population. However, they choose some pulkaz to have a certain role. For example, there is one called the Vokurai who organize the votes and choices of the people.

The clan name must look like “Pulka” or at least be an anagram.

The origins of the pulkaz come from Marity but they have learnt to spread through other worlds as well, way before Marity has been devastated. Multiple subspecies have been born since, including one living in the Endless Forest which is very recent.
Pulkaz usually stay in a parallel world or hidden underground or somewhere nobody can find them. Once they feel ready and organized, some of them are given the role of explorers and have to explore the surrounding area. They mingle with the inhabitants and try to discover their ways to live, their traditions and so on. Once they have accomplished their duties, they come back and spread their new knowledge to the others.
After that, more and more pulkaz step out of the hiding place to meet the rest of the world and live a new life.

1. A pulka must not use magic to hurt others unless they have no choice.
2. A pulka always has to hold a lonely one company.
3. Each pulka must have their own companion at the age of 30 years old⁽¹⁾.
4. If the companion dies before them, they have the right to adopt a new one or not.
5. Newborns must receive a Ceremiöna ne Naïrfolt⁽²⁾ in order to be considered as part of us.
6. Former eksepciöns must pass a test in order to become part of us.
