Despite the traumatizing
Despite the traumatizing experience this guy and his partner gave my Viola, I will admit I adore this kitty's design. He and his partner are gorgeous, and I'll also admit that their attacking gave me quite a thrill I have never gotten while playing the game, so I thank you guys for that XD
Well thank you! And yes we

Anytime! XD Haha aww thank you so much. And yeah lol she thought they were just a couple of nice big fluffies, and she didn't even know predators existed until today, so her being attacked by them was a blessing disguised as a curse since she learned something, or at least I hope she did XD

Helloooo~
Hihi
I'm just going to pop in here
Seconding what Cissy has
Please learn to play a predator character fairly or do not play one at all. Until you learn to play fair, I will not be taking any damages from your character and I will be ignoring your character.
I was coming here to post
Having a character like Parvu around can be a lot of fun for both the predator and the prey, but when the character ends up attacking half the forest randomly, there will be repercussions and enemies will be made. Until these consequences are addressed, I will be ignoring Parvu's IF actions against my characters (and will not have my characters approach Parvu, either).
Discord: Gulonine#4267
Posting here too so you can
Your predator has, for three days, relentlessly attacked others. And it would appear that your character has not taken serious damages despite being attacked by several very large and talented fighting characters who were trying to defend their families.
Jyoti saw the tail end of the fight with Shahla. He was there.
If you're going to play a predator, please play it fair. Until you do I will not be acknowleding your character's attacks and my character will not be taking damages.
Seconding Aquilo,
Thank you guys for coming in
Finally. I'm not someone who stops every five seconds to update, never have been, never will be. If I get called into work and I can't update, that's too bad. His health is going to say what it says. What MATTERS is that I play him as he should be played. Due to the scuffles from the past couple days he's not attacking anyone today. Hasn't, won't. Being played passively, fleeing from fights as many of you JUST witnessed.
So before you start yelling at me, how about you ask a few questions like "hey, my character was battling yours today, just wanted to ask what kind of damage they'll be taking?" instead of assuming I'm trying to godmode a cat in a game.
edit: not everyone here was spiteful. Thank you to those who weren't.
edit 2: But seriously, I play fair. Just wait for the end of the day to come when updates do before you start judging and speaking harshly, it does no one any good.
Hey! This is 'Kahara'. I
So seeing as I made the css you're using, I'd like to know who's using it and how you found it. As you're the third person who has and I'm curious how and why this is getting around!
" As someone who is trying to
This is not a good way to do this, in fact this shouldn't need to be done at all! If someone likes leaving their character in to sleep all day, then trying to fight them is not going to 'get them off their asses' they'll just log out /: I know I would.
A lot of people just want to sit in the forest and relax, and having a character going and harassing sleeping individuals while their players are AFK or busy is not very fair either. We just want to chill man.
You also have to realize that MANY of the characters you've attacked are very well known, Shahla and Nikhil are extremely popular and like half the forest is aware of them. So if they're attacked, a lot of people will know and be mad!
No one is asking you to
But if you think you're still playing fair after all of that, then that's okay. I stand with what I've said and I've no interest in interacting with your character. So I'd appreciate it if you did not bring them around to my characters and I will not bring mine around to yours.
@DogTag Hey! I've been
@hadou Parvu has never attacked a sleeping character ever, I think you took my comment a little too seriously there. What I'm saying is he is there to stir up those who are active. But his interaction comes in multiple forms and perhaps that's something everyone here is missing. There have been plenty of bad guys in TEF who have never been treated this way.
@onowl As I stated above, if I skip out on updating you can always comment and ask or observe him in the game. He is ALWAYS and will ALWAYS, as I don't intend to stop playing him, going to be PLAYED fairly. As he has. He has avoided fights, limped, only run to escape being killed. He is thoroughly injured. What I don't think is fair, is everyone ignoring how he is being played.
You can add me on skype as
No one was bashing you.
Other large characters have attacked the two of you and then the next day they come back and start endlessly hounding fawns and deer again as if none of the previous attacks mattered. That's the point we are making...
Edit: We arent telling you to stop playing them... Just understand that some may not want to be hounded by preds and some witll want to kill them for their actions. Going naked or playing passively wont make their enemies or attackers suddenly passive to them. Esp of they've attacke someone's family member.
@Onyx Please hear me when I
Also, we do not endlessly hound fawns and characters, our characters attack and retreat. We play our characters based on stamina and strength and hunger. Purposely our characters seek out those who are alone and if too many show up to fight, they retreat.
@all I get it if the way I've played him has upset you but please do some research and ask some questions before you jump on the hate Parvu train because I love him, and all of this OOC negativity towards him is unnecessary and could have all been avoided.
I'd just like to point
You're characters tried to target one of my characters, a fawn, which ultimately started the fight where Shahla became severely injured (and the main target I think). Before Shahla appeared I was tabbed due to focusing on other characters, but I was well aware of the fact that you two were trying to get my fawns attention. I saw the rearing and antler actions. Either you or you're friend were trying to attack my fawn when he was sitting in his den (which caused Shahla to appear in the first place).
SO as Hadou already said, not all of us want to get targeted. If a character is sitting and they aren't responding, don't keep trying to get their attention. Fortunately, others like Shahla did get involved and I ultimately decided to move my fawn and turn it into an IC thing (otherwise I would have just ignored you guys). But please don't sit there and claim you guys 'don't go after sleeping/resting deer' because you clearly do.
Instead of coming here to
If our cats attack someone, we as players simply don't have the time to check the biographies of those who come to aid the attacked. And I for one simply cannot remember every characters abilities and sizes and whatnot, most of the pictograms look familiar but say nothing to me in-game and during a fight, I cannot know if your character have magical abilities to burn or something else. These also could've been dealt with a simple comment of something what I said above. Also if a player chooses not to contact us, we are not responsible for what damage your character takes, like in the case of Shahla; I did not expect her to be nearly dying, but I wrote her part in Insum's updates based on her updates.
Some of you didn't voice your opinion constructively, but you are heard anyways, and we will play our characters less aggressive (mine is already a laid-back fellow, but you know what I mean, as in not attacking so often). We will also take more damage to our cats, and I apologize if the 'minor wounds only' have upset some of you. Again, we are not able to read minds. If anyone has an issue, please, do not hesitate to comment in a kind manner! We will take your matters seriously and try to work out a way how things would be satisfying for all parties.
EDIT/ Lost, if a deer has been sitting/sleeping, we (or my cat at the least) has been stalking a while and then left them be if no actions have been made. I was tabbed out when Shahla arrived, but also my character was not standing near the fawn between the rocks (also why I left the fawn away in Insum's updates, since there was no response from the fawn). I came back to see Parvu and Shahla fighting above the fawn so I don't know what happened there.
Everyone covered any other
However, I think the only one jumping on the 'hate-Parvu' train is you. The rest of us are just feeling some genuine frustration of two predators that seem to be going tirelessly, that no character can get back at unless it is in the moment of their hunt and you deem it appropriate in that instant. Don't ask me or anyone else to have their character back off some 'relentless pace', because honestly, if you wanna talk stamina? Your supposedly injured guy should collapse long before a healthy deer or lion or what have you should. I think we're all looking for the 'predators-can-be-really-fun-if-you-respect-other-players' train.
Point is, if this many people are commenting, I think it's time to at least keep an open mind beyond "I'm being attacked."
AND I will say this again, you can't attack a characters mom/dad/sister/brother/uncle/son/whatever without the backlash of a seriously pissed off family, maybe even a family willing to run as fast and as long as they have to.
In fact playing of
I think he has all the potential to become quite popular in this way.
Track.
Sorry for commenting again
Here's some advice. Learn picto's and the other characters around you. If you want to play a predator, then it helps a lot to learn who your character is actually dealing with in the forest. Some of the characters involved were larger than yours, which likely adds to why some people were 'iffy' with the lack of damage your characters took. Magical abilities should be discussed between players, but physical strength and stamina is something that can be judged by simply playing it out in-forest. If you don't know the other characters in the game, then you are going to have a hard time with portraying your characters reactions/actions accurately.
Lost, I think it's a bit
If something I said upset you further, for that I also apologize.
Well, if you aren't willing
lol no one is asking you or
and also considering that you're both players under different usersnames, who have both been a part of the community for a fairly decent amount of time, I think it's fair to say that you have some idea of who is who when it comes to almost-every-day forest inhabitants. the same inhabitants that were targeted in attacks.
there's more than a couple of people here that have expressed that they're upset with how they feel you guys have not played your characters fairly, also. so... if you want to keep saying that you are playing fair despite an apparent strong opposition from others who were firsthand or secondhand involved in-forest with your characters interactions, welllllllll... lmao
i feel, in specific, cissy and hadoukin made some very, very, very good points that maybe would do everyone interested in playing a predator (or maybe any character) some good to read over a few times.
also maybe people wouldn't be as upset with you two if you weren't trying to be so anonymous about this. i don't need an explanation why- you already gave it -but honestly it's still really sneaky and the fact you did this thinking there'd be drama shows you had some subconscious awareness that your characters actions wouldn't be well perceived. SO.
I'm not saying I'm not
It is impossible to learn every picto and the character it happens to identify. That's like asking to name every city and town your country has and memorizing the main landmarks.
I'm also not very satisfied with how my friend dealt with the communication that took place here and will, undoubtedly, continue later. I am truly sorry if you felt attacked or ignored in-game. Me nor my character was present at that time so I have no clue what happened so I won't say no more about that since I was not involved.
Dogtag/ Same words to you. Very off-putting way of expressing yourself.
People should never assume things. We have been a part of the community for a while, sure, but I for one am not active in-game often, nor on the community site. I have some idea who is who, but in the middle of a fight, for example, it is fairly hard to recognize pictograms on the move, also don't have the time for me to click the picto on the map.
Yes they have, and I have apologized. I also said we are making adjustments and try our best to play fairly from this point forward.
Regarding these being secret characters; the forest is already full of secret characters for reasons unknown. We did not expect any drama to this extent. As I have been saying, we are adjusting our way of playing. We ask for a chance to flesh out our characters, civil communication and understanding while we adjust to the matters, for we are but mere humans.
I was actually extremely nice
Regardless, think I've said all I wanted to say, and want to leave it at this: if you were seeking two characters to relax on or not be chased or what have you, I don't think... aggressive predators were the way to go, though I do appreciate changes made. That's just my opinion.
i'm fully aware that what i
don't get me wrong though, i'm glad you're interested in making appropriate changes. i do appreciate that.
a lot of whatever else i'd have to say was covered by cissy tho.
I apologies if I am stepping
I apologies if I am stepping from my place and into where I shouldn't be nosing into, but since I have had a character attacked by these two as well, then maybe I can slip one little comment into this conversation...
I will say to you, Multiplexum, that I know full well what it is like to be flooded with criticism concerning characters or playing them. I have been approached on sitting near certain deer at certain times, approaching certain characters, sitting in someone's spot while their family was there, etc. I was a derpy little kid then, but still, I think I understand what boat you're in:
still adjusting to this new style of playing, which in your case is playing a predator.
I know it can feel like you're being attacked by these people approaching you (especially if they come in swarms), but I also learned through my experiences that it's not always the case. In fact, it's not very commonly the case. Some people just have more aggressive approaches than others. It's how we respond/react to these (which are most of the time constructive points to be considered) that determines how we're viewed, whether or not drama will be stirred, etc. I won't comment on how either side handled this argument in any other way other than everyone has things they can improve on when it comes to things IC and/or OOC, and that does not exclude popular characters or the like. It includes anyone and everyone (Not that I am assuming that was what was trying to be said anywhere here, I just thought I'd point it out.)
Blagh now I'm rambling XD What I'm trying to say is, Mutiplexum and everyone else, perhaps don't take these comments as attacks, and try to ignore the unnecessary aggression you may feel coming off of some of the people who approach about this issue, or any future issues (everyone will always have issues down the roads, they're challenges we must face wherever we go). But simply take note of the point that someone is trying to get across, and remember it for the future.
Insum and Parvu are characters I am quite fond of. I like their designs and the idea of them, and their goal of wanting to spice up the Forest a bit. And I know as things improve in players and characters, things in the Forest will be even more fun!
Everyone wants what's best for the Forest and for their characters, and we are all finding our ways around things and changes. Everyone can always do their part in handling things better and improving, and learning from mistakes of others and themselves.
I hope everyone has a marvelous rest of their day. ^^
And to those who plan to comment further here or anywhere, remember that the birth and life-span of drama is in your hands. Word things wisely and consider the feelings and thoughts of others, always.
I did note the niceness of
My friend was and probably still is upset too of the drama this caused, and who could blame them for having emotions after receiving feedback like that. As I am aware other players were upset as well, and I'm not holding that against them either nor blame them for having those feelings. People are people and conflicts happen and they are all entitled to have feelings, but I am wiser now and will try to play realistic and 'do my research', haha.
DogTag/ It is, yes. I am very interested in making changes so that mine and my friend's character can have a chance to be seen as potential characters and get the developement they deserve.
And once more, I am very sorry about the way this escalated and was dealt with, and maybe after some time, you can forgive us. Also I have to note that I am speaking on my own behalf, I have yet to know what opinions my friend possess. : / I am, anyway, making changes.
EDIT/ As Flora-Tea said, yes, we are still adjusting. I should've done more research on how to play a predator, but as humans, we learn from mistakes.
hey, i appreciate that you
i'm glad that you're willing to learn and move on, that's all we can ask for! also, i will say this, seconding what dogtag said, it would help if you guys weren't being so secretive about it. that's the thing that kind of rubbed me wrong. i mean, i have vodka on another account but considering some of his wacky demeanor toward some characters, i would hate for something to happen and become personal because the player didn't know who i was, so i make sure to put my skype contact at least in the bio somewhere if people have trouble and wish to contact me.
little things like that just help show that you're willing to deal with what comes along with playing characters who have aggressive natures or tendencies because you don't want things to escalate like they have here, you feel?
anyway, that's my bit! i hope yall can smooth things out, if you want to interact with my chars again in the future, let me know!
I want to apologize for my
I hope we can have much more pleasant interactions in the near future. ♥
