Enjoying the time he's spent looking after his little sister despite his initial hard feelings towards the little one and what consequences might follow her arrival. Dealing surprisingly well, yet silently mulls over a number of new kinds of feelings that are evoked by the company of children. Still, enjoys his time wholeheartedly and makes sure to teach Izara all the shenanigans he knows - and much to his delight, has found another lonesome child to teach a bit of this and that to on the side as well.

Entered the forest to find his mother in discomfort, surrounded by Eleazar and Ramsus who had also showed up to witness the upcoming birth. Fetched fresh water and flowers for the Moon before settling next to his father to anxiously wait and eventually watch the delivery, which seemed to go without trouble. Not that he had expected anything less.

Irked to watch Eleazar get to meet the fawn first, and landed a headbutt to the bull's side to send him out of his way. My turn, old man. Met his little sister once she was up on her feet and gently touched his lips to the top of the fawn's head, afterwards giving her a pinecone to chew on and play with.
Stuck around the new family despite a growing unease within his chest and a feeling of disconnection, and even exchanged a few words with his father as they both stood a little ways off from Isiel, Eleazar and their newborn.
Watched the Wraith take his leave eventually as the bull needed a few moments to himself, which was something the Blackheart couldn't fault him for, considering the feelings they both seemed to share about the situation at hand. And after Ramsus had gone, settled down with the others to silently mull over some words that had left him thoughtful.

And then he proceeds to be a jealous little butt who didn't get enough attention or hugs as a child and so he's jealous of a newborn bby sigh, therapy please

Sought out Jae for a friendly bloodbath to ease some nerves, and got just what he was asking for. Left for a cold bath feeling grateful and lifted despite the soreness of his body.

After spending some time alone amongst the fireflies, dragged himself over to his sire. Rested beside the male in the dark, and eventually dared drifting off to light sleep - something he had never done within the woods since the White Raven's assault years ago.

November 29, 2018
Summoned to the forest by the Moon some days ago as she had something to tell him. Dismayed to hear his mother is pregnant - instantly filled with worry thinking how the kid's childhood would turn out to be, knowing that the Moon and the Ravenous are no longer together. Was quickly corrected that the growing life within her belly didn't belong to Ramsus at all, but instead to some stranger she had met during the rut. Mildly disgusted by the thought but kept it well hidden as he hadn't the right to judge, no matter how badly he might've wanted to slip a few snide words. Instead voiced his desire to meet this particular male should he ever show up again to be a meaningful part of this child's life, and if he wants nothing to do with the situation that he's put the doe in, the Blackheart would want to meet him twice as badly.

Despite the nervosity and a dozen reasons for worry, is actually looking forward to meeting his first baby sibling. Plans to help his mother with it as much as he's allowed, determined to ensure that this kid would be much happier than he was as a child. Let the baby fever ensue...

And today, made sure to mess with Jerah's head a little to find out what he remembers and what he doesn't. Pleased with the results but not any less resentful towards the Diamondback. Still, no longer wishes for his death.

Later allowed himself a nostalgic yet bittersweet moment as he reversed back to his younger days and crawled to sit between the Moon and the Ravenous whom he found resting together on a sun spot. thnx wake

Was made aware of his father's return from death's realm some months ago, and later got informed of the situation, or lack of one, between the Ravenous and his mother, Isiel. Crushed and disturbed to hear the ram doesn't remember his family, a cruel fact that is a little too easy to react to with ire and spite whereas deep-set sadness and a sense of isolation remains thinly veiled underneath.

Still, at some point during these past months spent a few hours sitting quietly by his father's side in a patch of blue flowers. Couldn't bring himself to continue the chase of something unachievable and make his identity known to the old bull, so moved away as silently as he had arrived once the male eventually shut his eyes.

Guided back by someone. Stirred in his grave last night just after midnight. Eventually dug his way out through rocks and soil, fur blackened with ash. Filled in his grave again but left a message in the dirt for his mother to find, hoping she'd wipe it away afterwards. Rushed home, disoriented and on edge.

Despite Ross' and Hälla's great efforts to try and help him, perished during the evening with the two, his mother, and his other half by his side. Burned from the inside out, skin and fur partially melted off. Buried by the Mother Night.

Visited by a familiar white buck early in the morning- someone the Blackheart had helped in the past to deal with his wounds. After a brief exchange of words received a piece of meat as a thank you from before, and after the Quicksilver had taken his leave gladly enjoyed the meal gifted to him.

A moment later grew overwhelmingly tired and groggy, but before he could drag himself back home to sleep, dozed off next to his tree and sunk into a place between paralysis and slumber. Appears asleep with eyes left half open, bearing a hollow look.
Riddled with nightmareish visions and an unbearable burning within his gut that soon spread to every limb, to each bone in his body. Fully aware of his surroundings however yet unable to move a muscle, trapped to endure horrific pains in complete silence.

After a few hours had passed, nostrils began to seep a small amount of hot tar-like substance mixed in blood.

I. Carries a sullen and even baleful air about him, like an approaching thunder storm. Despite this, Thorn seems to be a polite and humble young thing, especially sweet and caring to those who are the same to him. Generally can be seen as good mannered yet foul-mouthed and opinionated, but expert at holding his tongue when it's for the best.
Well behaved and respectful around children and his elders, but rarely holds any kind of true respect for anybody unless it's been earned. Inexperienced around children and is easily made uncomfortable by them - often pays them little attention and rarely takes part in play unless asked to do so. Protective of them nevertheless and loathes anyone who would lay their hand on a child.
More considerate towards women and tends to really watch his mouth around the most delicate of them. Quite eager to please them, which is something that roots from Thorn's relationship to his mother.

II. Takes great pleasure in being useful and enjoys being able to help others with whatever problem they may be having, this being one of the things that make Thorn feel the best about himself. Kind and generous if given the chance.
More selfless than he is selfish. Ready to go to great lengths for those who are worth it and to ensure a loved one's happiness the Blackheart is willing to make big sacrifices. Very rough around the edges, but in his own way a very loyal, caring, and fiercely protective of those who matter.

III. Severe trust issues developed from an unhappy childhood and worsened as time went on. Lacked the support and stability he needed while growing up, had to deal with the causes of traumatic events by himself, and thus has learned to believe that his well being isn't of much importance to those around him. Has learned to have to survive on his own in ways that are not healthy nor harmless. Fakes trust with most if it's asked of him.

IV. An emotional whirlwind yet expert at keeping stone-faced and appearing emotionless if he so chooses. If caught on a typically bad day Thorn is uncontrollable when experiencing intense emotions and his reactions, especially to hurtful things, are usually extreme.
Severe anger issues, explodes without much effort. Consuming and violent in rage.
Unable to handle rejection of any kind, reactions are always negative.

V. Private about his troubles. Doesn't tell if he's not asked, and if asked, he often lies to avoid causing worry. Finds it hard to open up to anyone entirely and often feels guilty about it whether he does or doesn't speak.

VI. Somewhat naïve still, and strives to carry a degree of innocence even though it is near entirely feigned.

I. Finds trouble relating to others if he doesn't share a deeper bond with them. Often fakes compassion and empathy for strangers.

II. Judgemental. Rarely gives his time to those who he thinks are beneath him, but also finds it hard to let go of those who once were loved but are no longer good for him. Highly self-critical and insecure, more often blames himself than others for bad events or unjust treatment. Quite forgiving but tends to hold on to bitterness.

III. Not physical and generally doesn't like to be touched by others - prefers to keep his personal space and respects that of others as well. Extremely put off by strangers and acquaintances who get close to him and greet him with some sort of physical contact. However, can be quite touchy-feely and affectionate with those he trusts.
At times delusional about potentially (and literally) shattering to pieces if touched without his consent. Worsens during stress - normally a nearly nonexistent belief. Suffers from a mild case of the glass delusion.

IV. Owns a sarcastic and grisly sense of humor, and either gets irritated or very amused if someone takes offense by it.

I. Especially vile and ill willed towards those who have earned his distaste, often going out of his way to bring them some kind of harm. Vindictive and manipulative, very insulting and disrespectful in hate.

II. Intrusive thoughts and impulses, obscene cravings. Daydreamer, fantasizer, can be unpredictably thoughtless and cruel in his wants. Always trying to keep his very worst qualities in the shadows, but at the same time wants to be nothing more than the ugly beast he believes himself to be. Always in conflict with himself.

I. Moon is the source of strength, energy, and rapid healing. Absorbs its light and is able to store it for later use either on himself or others. Extremely sensitive to the full moon's effect due to his half-mortality which puts Thorn at risk of moon craze if exposed to the direct light for too long at a time.

II. When experiencing an intense emotion, breath, teeth, and hooves may turn ice cold. Recently has learned to use this ability at will and often uses it in numerous creative ways. Tends to make objects or weaponry from the never melting and dark colored ice that he's able to produce.

III. All powers are closely tied to the moon and are fully dependent on its presence; powers wither fairly quick if the moon is gone.
