Reference
China is a very slim, feminine stag. With fur the colour of a fresh blood orange. His eyes are the rich warmth of melting chocolates, accented with medium length 'antlers' if they can be called such, which are black and brittle and stretch back from his head like the old limbs of an old tree.
His legs are very long and very delicate, tipped in small onyx dark hooves, which are often stained with the various things that he uses to paint.
His tail is not long in a conventional sense, but instead springs from the base of his spine in a tuft of fur which continues very slightly down the back of each thigh, it is very soft and the underside is slightly lighter than the rest of him.
While he seems very young and spry at first glance he does have days when his age will catch up with him, this takes a steady eye to see, most evident in his eyes, from the loss of shine to the hold of his lids.
He tends to hold his head up, neck gently, and elegantly curved, not unlike the way a swan might hold its neck and head when resting on the glassy surface of a pond.
The only thing that detracts from his elegant beauty, and it is very noticeable, is the large jagged scar on his back. a wound he received as a human when Japan attacked him at the beginning of the war.
the
death that I've seen the
grief all in this unending world
One of the apparent oldest nations, he happens to be an extremely superstitious and religious type. He tries to act as an older brother to the other Asian nations, but fails to be treated as one. He tends to end his sentences with the suffix "-aru". A lover of cuisine, he is said to nag if food has a certain pattern of tastes.
He has love of cute things, particularly cartoon characters, Hello Kitty, and pandas. He is also very artistic, as he is skilled at not only painting beautiful human beings full-scale, but also on something as small as a strand of hair. Though in-forest he has resorted to merely drawing either in the dirt, or using things like crushed blueberries as paint.
Overall he appears to be a cheerful character, but he can occasionally slip into moments of melancholy when reflecting on how much the world has changed in all the years he's been around. He's also been shown to be easily annoyed and prone to snapping at times.
though I'm
tired and worn, a day will come when these deep
wounds will heal
Russia:
Were they still human, China would avoid Russia for all he was worth, seeing as the larger nation has some strange obsession with him, in the forest he has become China's closest ally, at least for the moment anyway, much of his time when not alone is spent alongside the Russian deer and it isn't unusual to see China throwing the occasional pouty tantrum when Russia doesn't help him with things he seeks him out for.
Inola:
China knows nothing about Inola's manipulative ways. And was swiftly charmed by her. He considers her an adopted sister or even daughter, and will fight tooth and hoove to defend her, even if the other deer is in the right to attack her. He cares deeply for her and would never let any harm come to her so long as he was around. He enjoys speaking to and spending time with her as well, and they can be found together often.
