You can cast pelts on mini

You can cast pelts on mini deer by using a different version of TEF, because one of the versions doesn't see the mini deer, letting them be able to cast them.
I think that's how it goes, anyway.

Sluggs told somewhere in the

Sluggs told somewhere in the Shady Grove how to do it. It has to do something with a special SpellData which he shared with us, and you have to play a different version, then you are able to cast spells on minideer.

You use some kind of 3.1

You use some kind of 3.1 beta version of TEF to cast pelts on minis I think. But it's bad to have 2 versions of TEF installed. It messes up files I've heard.

I think what you do is get

I think what you do is get turned into a mini deer, then run through the Crying Idol to get the red pelt, sneeze it off, and awkwardly, you get your pelt back. Or something to that extent. U:

I dunno, never tried having 2 versions of TEF installed. Sluggs just said it wasn't very wise to do because it messed with some files, not exactly what it would do or which files it would mess up.

i don't get it - these

i don't get it - these minideers with the pelts, which version are they playing?

like.. if they are minideers in an earlier version and get pelts, and then move the spelldata to the newest version?

So I installed the 3.1

So I installed the 3.1 version and found a mini deer(that probably played the 3.20 version) but i still couldn't cast a pelt spell.

Why?
