Tracking! Also, I noticed
Also, I noticed some of the masks will alter your deer's voice - of the masks I have tried & watched others calling in, I've noticed that ~
* Real deer mask - your call becomes a rough echo-like shriek
* Space Beluga mask - your call gets a kind of electrical/radar-sounding background noise added
* Kabuki mask - your call gets a deep droning backnote, also may make the main call more like a fawn's (unless that's a glitch I get when I use mine - it can sound almost like two deer voices calling together)
* Golden Butterfly mask - your call becomes a faint whistling sound, or it gets a faint whistling backnote to it (sometimes when I've called in that mask I've heard only the whistling, other times I've had my normal deer voice with the whistling)
* Antelope Mask - your call gets a tinny backnote, like you are calling inside a trashcan (to me anyway ^^ )
[EDIT] * Zombie Mask - (from observation) - a kind of creaking groan
Of the others I've been able to try, I haven't noticed any changes in the peacock, magpie, long, orca, carnival, secretary bird, forest god, fan, monarch butterfly. I get very variable results using some masks (especially the golden butterfly), so others might be able to notice voice changes with these masks that I haven't been able to pick up on my setup.
Masks I haven't yet gotten to try: Noh, Day of the Dead, Zombie, Crying & the Luchador series so I can't say myself what they do. [EDIT] - I've watched some Zombie mask deer call, so I can add something for that now.
