Ages had passed since The Relic had emerged. Seasons had changed, rain had come and gone again. Dust had settled. The veil of cobwebs stretching over abandoned sculptures in the ruins. In the old oak. In the quarry cave. Most had been broken, scratched, faded over time. No one really saw them. The sculptor having moved on to other projects long ago. A byproduct left by his creator. Today, however - today The Relic emerged. The creature winds through the forest, prescribing wide circles through the trees. It tilts and sways, sometimes bunching its spine in a high arch or crouching low as things catch his interest. There are things to look at - made anew by the snow The Relic so dislikes.
