What do you do to show what you want with your deer? I just pawed a tree yesterday, and now I know how to get some more antler spellz when i need them. :3

So, if you see a durr pawing at a tree, please, go help them. If they shake their heads 'no', just keep going. Smiling

Sentry will rear/paw at anything he can to show thats:

A.) His 'turf' that he comes back to often, to relax, and that it's best to stay away until he leaves

B.) He wants a spell. Sorry if any deer are offended by his antics. I have been here for a while. Smiling (Alpha is my main)

Usually I'll ask the person

Usually I'll ask the person to follow me - point/nod, then walk (or just run off if I think they'll follow me anyway), then go to whatever I want and point/nod again and maybe cast one of the spell I want/nod to help get the point across.

If Nerri wants anything

If Nerri wants anything she'll most likely get the mask/pelt/antler spell to cast, go over to someone who looks like they aren't busy playing or whatever then cast it on them. She'll then paw at the ground, nod and walk away a little for you to follow. If you don't follow she'll come stand closer to you, paw the ground again and move away. Then she'll lead you to whatever she wants i.e. sleeping deer/mushroom tree/pinecone. With the first spell you cast she'll bow to let you know you're doing what she wants (to me if I cast a spell and a deer shakes their head the first time I don't know if it means 'Not the right one' or 'No, don't spell me') then continue to nod/shake her head according to if it's the right one.

Oh, and if I ever saw you rearing at a tree with mushrooms on it, I wouldn't think to spell you. To me/Nerri that's simply playing seeing as she does it all the time. Not that I've ever actually saw you doing so, and I think if you casted it on me I would cast it back on you.

All I do is sneeze off

All I do is sneeze off whatever I have on until I have the default pelt/antlers/mask. Most people will see that as a sign that I need that particular spell.

It's hard not to give mixed

It's hard not to give mixed signals.

I hate shaking my head no, and saying 'no, not the right one' when I feel like it's 'no, i'm tired' I'm saying no because it's 'not the right one' It bugs me, cause I think there gonna stop. :| I really need some antlers for Sentry, and i may go with peacock... Please, don't say you think Sentry is female. It's awkward.

The only antlers that people

The only antlers that people absolutely consider to be feminine are the Noh antlers. Quad wears the Peacock antlers sometimes with the green pelt to look like some kind of lion Eye

One reason you might be having issues is that you are using the same action for both an aggressive message and to ask for something.

I'm just saying rearing is often associated with 'go away' or 'lets spar', I would stick to pawing and bowing politely instead of more aggressive actions. You can also try and search for groups already casting, usually found around the pond. You'd have better luck joining than asking someone simply sitting or doing something else.

That's what i tried. i really can't stand this. No one wants to help me. I WANT to keep changing antlers and such. i would love that. But i fell like no one is willing. :|

The pawing thing seems totally useless, as I can't really lead them to it. :|

It takes time. Maybe, since you seem to be having issues asking in the game, you could post a blog politely asking if anyone would mind casting some spells on you, saying where in The Forest your deer can be found, and which spells you are looking for. Be patient and hopefully someone will be able to help you soon.
