I am E (Intro Post)

Hello there I am YujiKyu but on The Endless Forest my pictogram resembles an E so I am E.

I played this game heavily back when I was only 9 or 10 years old in 2009-10, I had an account back then and played through events and such. I don't remember my login for it or if the account still even exists.

I dropped the game for years and now I'm back 18 turning 19 in a few months picking it back up in college, I never understood the 'point' of the game when I was a kid, I didn't understand not having a goal. I would look around for other players to see who was online only to be confused by all the other sleeping players.

Though I found it confusing it was a nice change, no communication or way for another player to in someway try to harm or anger me. It was nice.

Seeing that a new Endless Forest is in the making I'm happy I re-found this place and re-made a character.

I'm a bit curious what other users do in the game or with the concept in general, I've seen some art and such but I'm pretty out of the loop of everything.

So it's nice to meet you all, I'm E. Let's hope to meet someday in game, feel free to reply to this if you want, I welcome it.

Hi there Ë! A lot of players often turn their deer into characters and many role play them. I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of character biographies around. If a lot of deer are sleeping, they could be just away from their computer or people often role play in messages now. Sometimes the best way to interact is to just jump in the forest and interact with anyone, but keep in mind that they could be characters. They’re are still some that just play the game too, and welcome company any time.

Hi and welcome back, E!
Kimi gave a great explanation as to what people do here and I like to think of it like a sandbox game, like Uitleger explained in another post from I think earlier this month. I like to use it to explore concepts that exist in-game, such as the intersection of Christianity and sort of a.. uhh I guess general Paganism, since there is both Christian and Pagan imagery in the game. I also like to just play a deer character and run around like an idiot and roleplay with others, so there is that lol

Please feel free to look around and comment on things! It's a good way to get an idea of what you might like to make and explore on your own time.

@Kaoori Thanks for the welcome. I am somewhat familiar with roleplaying but not much in this sense I suppose. I roleplayed/roleplay a lot back and forth between friends on Discord or even doing drawing rps. Maybe once I get more acclimated to the community I can make a character and join in the roleplaying.

I never knew the community like this until reaching out to here, I'm a bit shy and would just wander around until finding other deer. Hopefully I haven't disturbed others roleplaying sessions.

@FishBiscuit It's a very interesting game and I enjoy it for how different it is from others, I'm not too familiar with Christianity and Paganism stuff myself since growing up my parents never really tried to teach me any so I'm just kind of a whatever lol. I also like jumping around as a deer and acting like an idiot.

When I get more used to the community I'll try to uhhhhh get more involved in it. I'm very shy haha.
