Get the files of The halloween set?
I have the files, but how do you get them into the game, and on your deer? I really want to know. i really don't understand Spellsaver, can anyone explain?
And give me a link to it.

you can just paste in the
C://program files [or program files (86x)/TaleofTales/EndlessForest3/userdata
and then with Vista/7 hit the compatability files before you paste.
Then load your forest.

hm... if you've placed the
if you've placed the file named SpellData.cgr in the compatability files version of the userdata, it should work...
I'm not really the person to ask for troubleshooting on this.

Otherwise, all I can think of is to make sure you're running TEF as administrator. You can select that option by right-clicking on the TEF program or icon.

I don't know the settings on your folders or TEF. I would suggest making sure you're running TEF as administrator (right click the program or icon to select this option). Then, here is how it works for me:
1. You have a Spelldata.cgr that you know contains the zombie set. In this case, the one you downloaded.
2. Go to Program Files -> Tale of Tales -> The Endless Forest 3 -> userdata.
3. You will see two files: Preferences.cgr and Spelldata.cgr. You are going to replace that Spelldata.cgr with the one you downloaded.
4. Go back to the Spelldata.cgr that you know has the zombie set. Right click the file and select "copy." Go back to the userdata folder, right click and select paste. Make sure it replaces the other file. On my computer it asks me to confirm I want to replace the file.
5. Log into the forest to check and see if it replaced the old spelldata.

^This is the compatibility file setting. This is what ShadowsOfLight said to click, if I'm not mistaken. You just click it. Nothing more. (This is a view from the userdata folder, which you can access by following Step 3.)
Note that there are two files in the screenshot. You must replace the Spelldata.cgr that is already present in the folder with the Spelldata.cgr file that you downloaded.
^This is what it looks like when you right click your TEF icon (the gold leaf). My cursor is hovered over Run as administrator - clicking this opens the game as administrator. That's all it does. But for some reason this is something most Vista players have to do at least once.

And you have to click Compatibility Files first and then c+p the spelldata file into it. You have to replace the spelldata file or it won't have the info you need.
You aren't supposed to make or move any folders, only the spelldata file.

Alpha; Is your old set loading, or is your deer loading naked? It's possible that the downloaded files are corrupt or something.
