So rather than doing work in my History class today, I decided that writing poetry/lyrics was a much better idea.
-----------------------------------------
I want to hear the screaming marigolds
and the dying orange lepers as they crawl into Hell
They will meet us there, and we will take them,
into the severed garden through the door
-------------------------------------------------------
Changeling of ancient Egypt, I saw with mine own eyes
Decieve me! Decieve me - and part,
For the struggle is not over; we can take no more
Like a fragile, broken wing, we fall
---------------------------------------------------------
Came in through the window, opened the door
Tackled her down to a rug on the floor
A porcelain doll, but a sinner at best
She drew me back in and I lay on her chest
---------------------------------------------------------
Shells!
Everywhere, the shells of broken bodies
Turned to stone, and ceramic tile!
A volcanic explosion - inevitable, unstoppable, who are we?
Yes, everywhere, lie the shells...
-----------------------------------------------------------
Well I took a long ride and I'm feelin' fine
Got a little lady to suck up my wine oh my
(Oh my, oh my)
An' the cop's 'round the corner just-a bringin' me down
An' he don't use his gun 'cause a stick's more fun oh my
(My, my, my)
Well go down!
