Henya has begun to settle down almost completely, with almost no signs of homesickness and decreased levels of feral instinct as well as skittishness, however it still remains. The coyote found herself a den; a hole between the roots of a tree that dips down underneath of it. The hole is small and a squeeze big enough for Henya that gives way to a comfy and roomy den and close to the pond so she can hear the soothing sounds of frogs singing and crickets.

Woke up to an empty stomach and crawled out of her den in pursuit for small game. Squirrel had been on her mind when she set off. Eventually found a squirrel during her travels and chased after it, squirrel shot up a tree but Henya caught it by its haunches at the last mintue and pulled it off the trunk. Gave it a swift kill and retreated back to her den where she laid half outside the entrance to eat.

2017/09/14
Henya woke up to surrounding darkness and fog in the forest. Part of her enjoyed how mysterious her new home look, a part of her felt ominous eyes staring at her through the fog, making her fur stand with tension while she roamed the forest.
The coyote's belly was rumbling with hunger and she decided to try to catch a snack at the pond. She ended up catching a frog trying to make its way back into the water. After her meal, she went back to her den which was a dugout burrow between the roots of a tree.

2017/09/10
The coyote finally fought her homesickness, her old home was pushed to the back of her mind. She's grown healthier, mentally and psychically. Henya's energy has been restored and her youth. Spent the day running around through the forest, trying to catch squirrels, which she successfully caught two and ate. Wandered into the birch forest, climbed onto one of the small hills and snuggled beside a birch tree, laying in the shade.

2017/07/27
Decided to find Jude again after a long time. Found them, of course, by their usual spot. Was happy to see the two-faced fawn although they had some new faces she hadn't seen before tagged along with him such as Phobos. Steini and another was there too(couldn't click on the pictos im sorry fjfhsd).
Laid down by the group, her usual anxiety and skittish nature were very mild, almost gone around them now.

2017/07/14
Met Salem and Mirza who were around Jude. Exchanged sniffs with them, didn't know what to do so journeyed a bit of a distance away back to the tree they usually laid at and relaxed there.

Was approached by a hybrid kitten, Deerdre, was surprised by them. Was guided by her and helped her learn that she could talk. Speaks slow and cautiously.

It was near the end of the day, but the fun was just beginning for Deerdre. The little half-kitten was prowling along the edge of the pond, her blue eyes trained on the dragonflies flitting over the water's surface. A soft growl emerged from her throat, and she bunched her muscles up in anticipation to spring. Just before she began to lunge for the little bugs, a splash of light orange-yellow caught her eye, and she turned her head. Ears flicked forward as she caught sight of a young canine nearby, and a little mewl of curiosity escaped her. Her previous prey forgotten, the kitten padded over toward the creature, her eyes wide with fascination.
"H-hello," she rasped, her voice low and scratchy. "What are you?"

Henya's head whirled around at the sound of a voice, her body flinched and muscles tensed. The coyote was skittish, of course, due to past experiences and how new she was to this world. Her light, blue-hued eyes fixed on the feline-deer mix. The coyote didn't answer her, no words uttered from her mouth, only continued to stare at the kitten who looked rather odd to her.

A smile found the kittens lips, and she growled a little lower. She sped up her pace, approaching the silent creature quickly. Now her interest was really piqued. It was rare to get a word or two out of her, but she had never before been faced with a companion so quiet. "Can't you talk?" She asked, tilting her head to one side. She reached out one large paw to bat harmlessly at the air between the two youngsters, her claws remaining sheathed.

Can she? The thought echoed in her mind. She never thought of it before, she never could in her native world. Maybe this one was different? Although, she felt too anxious to say anything, fear of feeling embarrassed if she were to make a fool of herself by talking-- and by talking wrong.
A flinch rippled through her again before realizing the feline wasn't doing any harm and had their 'weapons' sheathed within their paws.

Deerdre laughed happily, but she backed away from the canine and tilted her head the other way. She sat back on her haunches and observed for a moment, thinking over the situation in her mind. After a while, her face grew serious. "It's ok if you scared," she said. "I am too sometime. Just open up yer mouth an' do this--" She opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue, making a long 'aaaah' sound as she did so. Snapping her jaw shut she blinked at the coyote and smiled. "See? Is easy!"

The coyote followed the hybrid kitten's instructions, opening her mouth and trying to force some sort of word, a 'hhh' sound rose from her throat. "Hhh-el-o?" She had heard mans-speak before, from the outside world, the words were memorized but she couldn't speak them until now.
Was she actually speaking? Henya's mind whirled at the fact she uttered a word.

Deerdre leapt up to her feet excitedly, lashing her long tail. "See!" She was clearly very pleased, her eyes were shining with pride. "I knews you could speak." She laughed and spun a little circle before dropping suddenly down to her belly and peering playfully up at her new friend. "Now say what's yer name?" She asked patiently, waiting with anticipation for the answer.

Once again, another 'hhh' sound slowly began to rise. "Hheenn-yaa." She said "Hhen-ya." Henya repeated, just to get a small bit of practice with her pronunciation.

Deerdre rolled over and arched her back, stretching her forelegs into the air, and turned her wide blue eyes on the coyote. "Henya!" She said, the name sounding strange in her dark, raspy voice. "I like it. I'm Deerdre, but you can calls me kitten." She twisted her body, rolling back over onto her belly in that serpentine feline way, and stretched her legs out toward Henya. "I never talk so much, usually, I just do fighten'. Do you do fighten'?"

"Ss-ome-times." Henya spoke slowly, careful of how she pronounced her words. "Bu-but noo-ot un-less I haa-vvv-e to." She was aware of how slow she was speaking, truth be told, it was a bit embarrassing for her but hopefully, others will understand she's just learning how to speak. The coyote let her sparked up nerves from earlier calm down as she seated herself on the ground.

Ran into the group today, laid down beside Lemon before a stranger caught her eye, Mane. Met Mane thinks he's a cool skeleton and stuck around.

Set change!! Has a skull mask now.

Same old laid with Jude and Lu. Feels they may be the regular group she hangs around with, hasn't really branched out to meet others. Might do so eventually.

2017/07/08
Didn't find Jude and Lu in their usual spots? Found them eventually surrounded by a bunch of deer. Laid away from them but beside a nearby tree. Scooted up to them eventually, fell asleep a few times from exhaustion.

Decided it was time to eat, hunted a rabbit and ate. Realized how tired she was after the adrenaline disappeared and slept in a hollow in the ground. Was hit hard by homesickness and anxiety.

Another day with Jude and Lu. Was approached by a deer and fawns while making her way to the usual group she stayed with, didn't appreciate how close the deer got with their fawns and their bellowing, ran off when she had the chance and found the group.
Stranger later approached them, Kuwaka. Seen Lu get up and approach the hybrid lion, got up as well but stayed a distance behind Lu and observed the stranger, let out a high pitched yelp at the stranger. Soon came towards them and gave them a sniff, quickly running back behind Lu. ~~sniff and run~~
Jude and Lu departed from Henya's company, leaving her behind with this-- stranger. Felt skittish and a bit alarmed.
Stared at the stranger for a while, giving a few yelps every now and then. Luckily for Henya, the stranger made no motives to show he intended any harm.

Joined Jude and Lu again. They were gathered with other friends, was shy and skittish at first but soon scooted in beside Lu.
More creatures came, was spooked by them and jerked away but snuggled against Lu again soon after.

2017/07/06
Traveled to the playground today, leaped onto the highest stone and let out a howl. Not really for anything, just for her own entertainment. She hadn't had a real howl in a while.
Was approached by a fawn by the stone, given a sniff before Henya departed from the fawns company.

Found Jude, Lu and another new face(forgot who they are fjhshs). Laid by them for a bit before slowly moving closer. Ended up laying by Lu. Feels like an accomplishment that she got that close to them, even closer than last time. Snuggled up to Lu after the young creature fell asleep. coyo learn to cuddle???

Met Acantha by the pond. Exchanged sniffs and laid by them for a while.

2017/07/05
Seen Jude and Lu again in their same spot, approached them, closer this time. Gave a howl but nothing as a threat. Laid down with them for a while before more deer approached, met Ashtaroth, exchanged sniffs with them before they departed from the group's company.

Stayed with them for a while, edging closer to them every now and then. Was spooked when other deer started to come, ushered away from them and hid within a pile of logs nearby. Slowly came back out when she got used to the fact that sudden company was there, although wasn't exactly used to them. Edged closer to the group, closer than she ever had before. Was encouraged by one of the new faces, Lemon. Was surprised the doe would allow-- well-- a coyote around other deer, especially when there was a fawn. At the same time, she wouldn't stand a chance if she tried anything.
Laid in front of the tree the group seemed to circle around, felt awkward at first but feels like she's being accepted.

2017/07/04
Needed somewhere to rest, went to the Old Oak and laid halfway inside and halfway outside of the hollow part of the tree which created a den like shelter. Fell asleep.
Woke up when she was startled by hooves, looked discreetly to see a red deer(unknown deer) laying inside of the Old Oak. Not wanting to cause a fuss with her presence like last time, she closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Eventually actually fell back asleep.

Seen Jude and Lu, decided to try her approach again, ended up being too skittish to properly approach and stayed there from a distance. Gave them a few short but high pitched howls and whines but still kept her distance. Was approached by Lu and sniffed each other before Lu walked back to his spot by the tree Jude and Lu were currently haunting.
Later seen a large boar-like creature, ~~oinker~~ Czernobog. Was spooked by their appearance and huge body. Lowered herself to show she wouldn't try to assert her dominance over the creature, although it wasn't needed since they showed no sign of aggression, instead they only sniffed the coyote. Tried to sniff back, stood on her back paws trying to collect their scent but failed. The creature lowered themselves to her level so they were face to face.
Laid by Czernobog while Jude and Lu laid in their spots as well.

Jude and Lu ended up departing, leaving Czerno and Henya. Was suddenly snugged by the large creature, didn't move and accepted the affection. Starting to feel more comfortable in the new world, though still has anxiety and a bit homesick.

2017/07/03
Still new to the forest, terrified and overwhelmed by all the new things. Feels like a pup opening their eyes for the first time.
Feels different as well within her mindset, confused as to what's going on?
Later approached a group of deer. One of the many strange creatures in this new world, they were the same but at the same time, bizarre compared to what she saw in the human world.
A fawn named Jude, an unknown deer(couldn't click their picto fjdjdsh) and Urila. Kept her distance before slowly approaching, sniffing them from a distance every now and again. Was greeted with hostility from Urila, would rear towards her with ears flattened but didn't hit her, a warning she assumed. Would back away then slowly try to approach again but kept getting warned to stay away. Skittishly ran back a few feet before sitting and observing the group for a while. Stayed with them for hours but kept her distance, maybe she could gain their trust? Hoping to make some friends, scared of being alone in the new world and desperately needs a source of comfort.

Approached by a squirrel, Bayi. Strangely, she had no temptation to make the squirrel her dinner as she would back in her native world The squirrel didn't seem to fear her, in fact, went right up to her. This place was strange alright. Feels it'll take her a while to fully settle if she can.

Bayi Appreciated the small squirrels bravery to approach the coyote, felt welcomed by them.

Warfare

Henya's fights are always due to instinct. Reasons for instincts being triggered can include; self-defence, territorial, dominance, food and more.
She uses her teeth, claws, body-slamming and kicking up dirt. Her teeth can leave nasty, deep gashes with chances of infections.
There's always chances she will flee, however, if there's a group against her.

The coyote is fast on her feet and strong for her species, she can handle sharp-turns and she takes advantage of that.

Henya will most likely flee or avoid confrontation with a larger opponent or a group/pack/herd.

There's always a chance of Henya turning on friends. Not because she wants to, or her human-mind intended to but instincts took over. Whether they tell her they're food or a threat. A way to explain it would be people who raise lions, bears, etc from cubs but end up being attacked by them either because they're play fighting but unaware they're killing their caretaker, seeing them as food, etc.
