Hello all, again! Slight problem over here.

So, got slightly interested to get back in the game, I was here around years 2014 - 2016 .

I downloaded the game once again, but seems like my FPS's worse than a... worse. Barely getting 1 FPS. Is there a fix for it? My laptop is a year old gaming laptop, can run most new games without any problems. Is it just because my laptop is so new, and the game so old? Maybe it has issues with newist windows or so? Just tossing ideas around, I got it in 5 FPS after I got all the settings as low as I can, in windowed mode.

You're not alone, I think TEF is just so old it doesn't know what to do on new machines.

My old pc ran TEF just fine, but my new one experiences lag spikes and random freezes whenever someone emotes :/ yet I can play things like ARK and the Isle with max graphics settings just fine.

Hmm! My computer does this funny little thing where, some windows I open lag to hell and back, but if I open another one (sometimes it takes a few tries) there's a chance it runs super smoothly! Try closing the lagging windows and opening new ones a few times - maybe that'll help!

I have tried to run it few times, but so far nothing have worked. I keep trying to open and closing it few times tho! Its relaxing game, and I have fun memories of it too.

If anyone gets any other ideas, I will listen them too.

Yeah, I can also run the ARK with full settings, but then struggles to run this thing. I find it a bit funny that good gaming laptop struggles with tiny TEF.

Hmm this makes me afraid to finish building my new computer... I don't know how TEF would react to a new Radeon Rx 5700xt graphics card on a whole new machine. /:
