Both accounts are treated entirely separately so I'm not using them to give myself any sort of advantage. I just want to be able to play with friends both in EU and US and don't have the money to buy the full game yet. ;;
I main EU atm, but I'd seriously love to play in the US too. <3

I'm very vaguely interested in rp aspect of the game, but I've never really done anything like that before. Now debating if I should make new account on US argh..

As for character creator, it's important to me too to make pretty characters. People manage to make some stunning stuff. There's of course makeover kit that unlocks more options for hair and colors, but that has to be bought with real money.

Another feature of GW2 that's super useful and worth mentioning as a selling point: You can buy the IRL money currency (gems) with the currency that you earn for free in game!

It doesn't come exactly cheap, but the conversion rate fluctuates with the economy and it's fairly reasonable. You can save up quite a few gems with some moderate dedication to it.

What Chopped said basically, it's not difficult to grab gems {the 'irl money' currency} for gold {an ingame currency}

rn it's like 105 gold for 400 gems but that's the highest I've seen it. I've seen it dip down to around 98 gold for 500 gems. Good stuff.

I like the character creator a lot. Definitely better than certain other mmos I've played.

Thanks Chopped! I'm still a bit noob so definitely feel free to share tips here about everything. Till now the most gold I've had is 60 and I've played for a while, but maybe I'm just slow.
