Glitch?

floraelle's picture
So I fell asleep in the forest and when I woke up again I wore an entirely different set! X
To my surprise the set of a person that I used to interact with the last time I logged in.

I can't sneeze it of, does anybody know if I'll get my old set back after disconnecting?

Hm thinking about it, I might also appear normal looking to other players? And only I can see the glitch? I am confused. :|

Yes it's a glitch, I believe

Yes it's a glitch, I believe it happens since the spelldata was made server side. It's a glitch that throws saved spelldata of any other random player on you I believe. You can't sneeze it off, you can't wear it off, you can't wash it off in the Pond, you will get rid of your true set that you have under it but not of the glitch itself. You are the only one who sees it, but it can make one nervous despite that. Closing the window of the game violently would be the single solution as otherwise it will save your true set, which will be incomplete if you tried to get the glitched one off. And by the way, if you're glitched that way, you can walk on the water of the Pond and your reflection is glitched similary like the end-fawn glitch, just a BTW though.

That is indeed a glitch.

That is indeed a glitch. Other people still see you with your normal appearance. Smiling Disconnecting should fix the issue, you won't lose your set (unless you sneezed some of it off? i'm not actually sure of that).

Thank you very much for your fast replies!
And thank you Jenny for pointing out the water-walking thing, that's actually quite cool!

So if I understood correctly, I'll just have to close the window and once I reconnected I'll have my own set back?

(Then I shall enjoy this rendom glitch for now.) XD

Yes you will. SO ENJOY IT.
