With the upcoming autumn season, the air around the old ruins had begun to slowly change. Leaves began to change from their summery greens to vivid oranges, yellows and reds. The ivy climbing up stone walls began to wither and dry out, and flowers completely disappear, with the exception of the virtually unending growths of poppies. From the ground, a mist was beginning to emerge to hint at the upcoming Halloween season.
The liveliness around the ruins had also changed, not as the seasons, but over the course of a full year. Members of the long departed had been revived, and new additions to a long held family had begun to grow. Though they were kept safe under their gravekeeper father's supervision, the newer fawns were getting older and more self sufficient. The older members were also perhaps closer than ever after their revival at Osias's miracle power. Soon the fawns would be allowed to wander more on their own, but certainly never have to be without eachother or their siblings. Of course, during the upcoming season leaving the increasingly active ruins won't be any issue, but as long as the rut remains in place they were better off together and away from the rowdiness.

The antelope yawned, sitting
Quad looked about. Something was different, was there something going on here? There was an unusual mist in the place, and he could have sworn he heard noises coming from the gravestones. His legs were shaking oddly, and as he stepped past the pillars, he looked to see if anyone was there. "H-hello?", he called, still tired from his sleep that he wasn't sure if he saw something or nothing at all...

In the morning mist,
Facing the sound of the familiar voice, faintly glowing crimson eyes are reflected off the mist. "You are... up early... Quad." Dark rasps casually, pulling his skull mask into his form of a smile. With the blackbuck usually sleeping at one of the gravesites, it was pretty safe to assume the gravekeeper would be aware of the other's slumber habits. The earlier parts of the morning were usually a pretty good chance to clean up the ruins, before either the fawns or random strangers and litterdeer had a chance to romp through.
The antelope blinked several
"O-oh! Hey there, D-Darkweaver!", he stammered nervously, clearing his throat, "I'm glad it's you there. I thought for a second you were...you know...Iugulare...", he flashed a little grin, genuinely relieved but also still drowsy. He looked about, the strange mist around and the dusky light about, he was safe to assume he had woken up earlier than usual. Darkweaver was spot on that he was up early.
Quad had never noticed how clean the old Ruins were, not until he saw Dark pulling up weeds and things, "D-did you, erm...need some help straightening up around here? I can certainly do what I can, I never knew you even did this kind of thing around here.", he took another look around, "In fact, you do a really good job, I never even noticed how clean the place was. Guess I've stopped really paying attention to details like that."
He realized he was talking quite a bit, and finally stopped speaking there so Dark would have a chance to respond.

The black fawn stood in a hurry, quite eager to meet a new face. She swiftly climbed over the crumbling slabs and between her father's legs, stopping just before the chains on Darkweaver's front hooves. With all six of her eyes focused on the blackbuck, Arien asked, "Who's he?"

He looks about some, and sniffs the air a little. He had to be sure Iugulare or Noctuis weren't around. Thankfully, he didn't smell that distinct scent their infection let off. He knew they were pretty safe here, at least as far as his enemies. He relaxes with a soft exhale before looking back to them.
