He took a deep breath before he continued "What do you exactly mean, darling?" He licked her cheek briefly, trying to get her look at his direction.

Though, I cannot help but wonder what Lust might think about all this."He grinned briefly before he licked her cheek.

Lightly he rubbed his cheek against hers as a gesture of affection. "There might be some troubles with your loved ones because of this. But I know they will understand eventually."

When she watched him laughing, she knew that she wants to hear that sound her whole lifetime."Don't you miss your family? I mean, my family means everything to me I couldn't bear their loss. And when I have children, I will be always there for them."
He had no memories of his biological parents, they had died when he was a fawn. A family he talks about is the one he joined when he became a vampire. "Yes, I do miss them. Partly it was my fault I do not see them that often anymore. I could have tracked them down when I left the forest but I chose to come back here." a shiver ran down his spine as she mentioned children of her own. Did she mean children with him or with someone else? Thousands of questions filled his head.
She noticed that he was mentally absent and then she remembered the few things she knows about vampires. "Oh,...I forgot. It was unfair to talk about children. Not only because it is way too early to talk about children but also because you can't have one. Am I right? I heard about it."
She felt so stupid so she tried to cheer Edward up and nuzzles him gently.

A loud growl escaped his throat.

Lucy already heard this sound and she used to be frightened but now she loves it. "Don't hurt him. He won't win anyway." She tried to calm him so she nibbled his neck.
"Yes you did, dear." He chuckled. "Fine." His respond was short, obviously he wasn't pleased to see this stag around. He walked closer to her to show this stag he wasn't welcome near her. Edward wasn't in the mood to fight since he had had a conflict with Ren earlier.

Her heart beat faster. She knew what would happen, they would fight and she hated to see Edward fighting althought she kinda liked it. As expected they fought but not long, the other stag gave up and ran away.
After the fight she ran to Edward and nuzzled him. He was a great fighter."I hope the rut will end soon."

Outside he looked calm, in the inside he was furious. He wouldn't fight because Lucy had asked him not to. Although, he would fight if he saw someone as a threat.
