It has been a... strange few days. I have become... overwhelmed as of late. Feelings, I cannot begin to describe. I have been pulled into dances, games of chase. This feeling, it makes me want to run, to jump like the others. What...?

I discovered a spectral stag near the stream leading to the pond and sat beside for a portion of the afternoon. He was completely silent, unmoving... and immaterial. A strange existence, to be sure, but somehow pleasant to accompany in any event. We were soon joined by a crow-like stag. He seemed intent on speaking to the apparition, despite its apparent lack of interest. We sat there for ages...

When they left, I stepped over to a broken-looking stag and an antlered doe. She seemed perturbed by my presence, but allowed me to sit beside them for a while anyway.

I left for the dream world briefly, then came back to check on the broken stag when I returned. His new companion, a peacock-like stag was much less forgiving than the doe I had previously met; he warned me off before I had a chance to explain myself.

After a little wandering, I came across a black doe I had met previously. She invited me to sit with her in a patch of poppies near the red hill...

Sat beside a lonely doe for a good while during the early hours, until she eventually left to find her companions. Discovered the doe from yesterday sitting beside a tremendous, winged stag. Her body leaked red ink from multiple cracks and she appeared to be terribly disoriented. The stag allowed me to sit beside them for a while. I fell asleep only to awake to shrieks and bellows. The beast had appeared once more...

Later still, as I sat beside the pair, a strange stag appeared, taunting the winged one beside my companion. When he would not leave us be, the silver doe from the beginning of my day intervened, making him follow her before chasing him off. I continued to sit beside my broken companion. I do wonder how she ended up in this condition...

I managed to decode a request for antler spells. I am not exactly... equipped for such things, but it appears my companion got what they wanted in the end.

Met a lone doe in the birch forest. As I was greeting her, the beast appeared once more, appearing to burst through the earth beneath my hooves. He raged and shook, ink dripping from his mouth... then all went silent. I sat beside the doe for a while; her feathers are quite pleasant to sit with.

Early hours have been spent getting to know some of the other inhabitants. Met a giant beast among the deer. Attempts to communicate with those around him were met with aggression, so I moved on to a stag with no pictogram. We sat for hours, and were joined by a little fawn. It was so lovely...

Currently I am enjoying the company of two others. I am thrilled that they are willing to share their time. Yes, yes... such nice deer in this forest. I do believe I'll stay a while...

I have spent most of my day sitting near an ancient stone structure with a brown-pelted stag and two... other deer? I do not know. My companion was warm and sweet. It was lovely. I do wish these others would make less noise. Moo... moo...

Small for a doe, but not miniature. No fur--body is made of a smooth, porcelain-like substance that is cool to the touch; parts interlock much like an artist's mannequin. Eyes are hollow sockets lined with exaggerated eyelashes. A thick, black, ink-like substance drips from them, staining her cheeks. The substance fills her body cavity, sloshing around if she is forced to move at more than a slow walk. Joints click as she walks and moves.

Quiet and calm, Doll is an observer. She is terribly curious about all forms of life, and is prone to following both deer and other animals. Loves the feel of body heat; will curl up against anyone who will have her. Those who treat her nicely beware: Doll has a bad habit of becoming extremely attached to others, possessive of them, like a little girl and her playthings. Emotions are a relatively new experience for her. As such, she is still learning how to cope with them. So far, all she has managed is anger and her possesive form of "love."
