The sunlight speaks. And it's voice is a bird:
It glitters half-guessed half seen half-heard
Above the flower bed. Over the lawn ...
A flashing dip and it is gone.
And all it lends to the eye is this --
A sunbeam giving the air a kiss.
I walked though the forest, eyelids dripping downwards like water from tiredness. I walk slowly...hushed. Sounds barely enter my ears, but my heartbeat heard as an echoe. Thump thump...thump thump.... And it stopped...I hear a flutter near my ear, a bird perched on it. A hummingbird, so little so soothing, stood there. “My my little hummingbird, hello...”
Little dark eyes peer at me as they dig into my soul. As they figure out the secrets I keep locked up from the world. It flutters around me feeding me with inspiration and joy. I watch so curiously, as how little a creature could cut through me so carefully. It flies away, too be seen again. “My my little hummingbird, goodbye...”
Wherever we turn in the storm of roses,the night is lit up by thorns, and the thunderof leaves, once so quiet within the bushes,rumbling at our heels.
A storm brewed...in my mind. In my dream. A storm of roses. The distinct aroma filled my nose. Rain drops fell from the sky and hit my body like thorns. The wind felt soft like a petal rubbing against my fur. It felt real, a dream whom they call a nighmare. Darkness peered at me from every corner...hell wanted to catch me in it’s grip. Just gonna stand there & watch me burn. That’s alright because I like the way it hurts. Just gonna stand there and hear me cry. That’s alright because I love the way you lie, I love the way you lie. The aroma disappeared and the pure smell of burning roses arose. I closed my eyes, the feel of intense heat on my body. Hell was here to catch me. But I wasn’t afraid...I embraced it. ”Come and get me...”

~Sigh...~
It was a very strange day: Lily was tired. Was the world about to end? She never feels tired. But she knew why she felt so out of energy that day; she had slept the entire day, as she didn't find nearly any of her best friends. Nothing takes more energy from a hyper fellow than a day without doing anything. "Grrrr..." she growled, as she got up from the waterlily on which she had been taking the fifth nap of the day, and hopped from nenuphar to nenuphar till she reached the sand. But in that moment she noticed through the corner of the eye a yellow, brown and blue elegant sillouete. "Good afternoon, madam... may I know thy name?" she greeted, sarcastic but not rude, with a silly smile under the black shiny mask as she bowed exagerating. She slightly disaprooved the other doe's exhibitionist makeover, but she'd never let her know. Lily was childish, but polite.
Brooklyn looks at Lily curiously, observing her every move. She comes closer, walking with pride. A sweet smile is plastered onto her face as she bows down to the doe. "Hello...I am Brooklyn, The Lovely One. And you are?" she asks with a feminine voice, the words flowing fluidly out of her mouth.
Her sarcasm and disaprooval grew wider with her smile as she heard her talking~The lovely one, she says?~ She was, indeed, a beautiful creature, but the way how she talked about it annoyed Lily a bit. Probably just because she was in a rare bad mood day."Brooklyn... that'd be a lovely name, yeah. My friends call me Lilly. Like in waterlilly, you know? I love water. Can I call you Brook, or Lyn? I feel silly with such a simple name."
[Hehe<3 I had a bad day today, so I might not roleplay well, so sorry]
Brooklyn watched the smile curiously, observing the feelings that perhaps those lips hid. She nodded in agreement to the name, a big smile displaying sharp fangs and teeth. "Brook or Little Rose, Lyn...I like it, go ahead. Lilly...mhmm," she said twisting her ears to sounds around her. She pawed the ground with her hoove, symbolizing her wanting Lilly to follow. She jumped high in the air and slowly made her way to the deep forest.
Lilly followed her curiously, wondering. It was good to have someone to take the lead; she was too tired and bored to take decisions."Where are we going, Lyn?" she asked happily as she trotted and hopped by her side, looking everywhere except in front.
Broooklyn slowed down soon reaching Lily's side. "The Old Oak Tree of course," she purred. They made it to The Old Oak, Brooklyn quickly pounced inside, the mysterious feel made her feel comforted. She shook her head to the side, symbolizing her wanting Lily to come in and relax with her.
{G'awd, most people call her Lily and the others call her Lilly, I'm not sure what's she called anymore x'D First it was Lilly from waterlilly but omg everyone started calling her Lily now I'm confused}
~Gahh... more resting...~ she thought, tired of sleeping the entire day. But in fact, it was too hot at that time of the evening to do anything but take a nap, so she followed Brooklyn inside and sat down, hiding her annoyance behind an honest grin and laying the head on the earth between the front legs. After a few seconds, the shadow actually started to feel truly relaxing, and the sounds echoing down the trunk of the ancient tree woke up her mind. She sighed satisfied, exhamining the new friend through the corner of the eye. Lyn seemed to like it in there too.
But then Lily noticed details about her that had slipped in the direct, strong sunlight. She saw four grooves near the base of each hoof that seemed odd and unnatural. And she didn't seem to use the nose to detect scents; everytime Lily noticed a fragance flowing on the wind into the shady shelter, she frowned with the vision of a bifurcated snake tongue flashing out and into Brooklyn's mouth. Was she a demon? A crossed animal? An instable creature? Wider grin seemed to rip her lips from a cheek to another. ~I'm a lucky one, yes I am!~ Instable or mutant deers were her favourite hobby to occupy the dead hours of the day, when no friend was awake. And even when they weren't instable or didn't possess special features, they nearly always had an interesting story about their past to treat her curiosity for hours. Even if Lily couldn't tell them a story herself. "So, Lyn... what specie of deer are you exactly?" she asked, directly, with a suggestive head bend in the moment she sticked out the tongue, too impatient and curious to be more delicate and subtle.
[Ugh I'm so sorry if I spelled it wrong! :/ I know that happens lol<3]
Brooklyn gazed at Lilly with her pale, silver blue eyes. She thought about the question, her imagination acting up. "I am not a species of deer, but I am simply myself Lilly. I am not like other deer, I have no particular species...I am just a part of this world" She sighed, another sweet smile on her face. She looked at Lilly, indeed enjoying the doe's company.
{There wasn't any wrong or right before, only now I decided that it will be spelled Lilly ;p}
Lilly nodded. She couldn't tell what specie she was neither. But her curiosity remained. Watching a group of deers dancing outside, she thought of a new question. The group splitted for a second and she noticed some fawns among them. Again, her heart seemed to forget a beat due to its confusion. She loved fawns, but they always forced her brain to look for memories that she didn't possess, or at least couldn't acess. For what she could tell, she had never been a fawn. She coudn't guess her original name or age, although it could be estimated regarding her small size. But either for being truly young or for having forgotten all the fawnhood memories, she did feel and talk like a fawn often. "Umn... Lyn... Do you know any... story?" she asked awkwardly. Even she didn't know what it meant, she was starting to look at the elegant and good-hearted doe as her stereotype of mother figure.
{Lilly asking someone for a story?! Woah. This might be fun to watch : D}
{22/9- I wonder if you noticed this comment? I often skip RPs that get shoved to the second track page. If that's not what happened, sorry for bumping!}
Brooklyn moved fluidly around the trees, she paused and looked admiringly at Lilly. She enjoyed the fine doe's company, now considering her as good friend. She pondered on the question, thinking of several stories that popped up I her head. Her mind was quite vast and filled with so many things that would confuse another. She nodded, with a cute small grin.
{Oh sorry I thought you were still working on it :O}
The small grey shadow came out of the Old Oak, hopping over the stones, tripping on a patch of violets as she was quite sleepy.
She sat in it, feeling the sunrays filtered by the trees hitting and warming her fur, as she rolled over the flowers, spreading lost petals and leaves in the air. "Sooo... Could you tell me it?
She watched Lilly gracefully, each hop caught by her eyes, attached to her mind as a memory. But a memory of what? Perhaps grace and the begining of a new friendship. She looked around, head held high in an elegant manner. "Hmmm I know many Lilly. Is there perhaps any that you would like. A genre or idea?" she asked, gazing out into the distance. She smiled, then peered at Lilly patiently. Curious eyes observed her.
The small shape scratched the dirt off the fur against the coarse bark of a pine tree, thinking.
...What kind of story did she want to hear? "Hmm... do you know any story with... with..."
"...involving... hmm."
She left the trunk and rolled on the grass, seeming to ignore the presence of her friend in a quite ill-manered way while she thought of a theme.
The fact was that she had never had a familiar education that she could remember.
After a few seconds of suspension, she looked up at the slim figure of the other doe, her dark eyes reflecting the blue of the sky like a clean mirror.
"Have you heard the story about The Wailer?" She asked, tilting her head in a fawn-like manner. She observed the distance, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. She moved around curiously, thinking about the story. A shiver went down her elegant spine, eventually reaching her long tail. She shook it off, regaining her posture. Blue eyes met those of Lilly, waiting for a reply...
But did Lilly enjoy scary stories? Brooklyn did not mind them, though she enjoyed telling them to many. But she did not want to scare the little thing...
/sorry for the late reply :/ Halloween was busy, and I had just happened to hear about this story<3/
The tiny grey doe laid over her side and looked up at the slender figure, her eyes widely open of expectation. She had noticed the slightly worried look in the other doe's face, and her excitation grew. "Yes! I mean, no, I've never heard it but~" she mumbled happily, the tail wagging like one of a dog.
"But I want to! Is it creepy? Idon'tcareIwantit!" were the sentences she barked in fast sucession as she moved closer to Brooklyn, until she sat silently and attentive in front of her like a good and mature listener.
{I should warn that in certain situations some sentences and feelings mess with her buried memories, and she might become amnesic of the present and aware of the past all of a sudden :) Heheh just warning so you won't go "what the?..." since the fear is likely to induce her into that state :p}
Brooklyn nodded, neatly folding her legs beneath her body. Her ears twitched to distant sounds, eyelashes batting like butterfly wings. She paused, allowing a brief moment of appreciated silence. "I hope you are prepared. It's not that frightening. But you choose Lilly. Would you like this story or something much scarier. I know a tale of a deer who died within this forest.... Brooklyn always gave many choices, and was very refined and dainty in her ways. One more answer, and then she could begin a story.
[Interesting...thank you Neat idea you have their]
Lilly looked up, thinkative eyes catching inspiration in the branches above both. She looked beyond them and noticed the sky had started to become reddish; dusk was near. The thought of a horror tale told in the living night, made her curl with a smile. "Toss me the scariest thing you have ova thar!" she whispered to the taller doe, with a secretive note in her high pinched voice.
