Kumiko was extremely caring and carefree. She use to spend her days running around, jumping, or dancing with a smile on her face. Even with the hardships in her past, she did not let it keep her down.
Some recent events have shifted her into a small state of depression. She constantly worries, feels alone, and feels empty has she grows more confused on what to do and what she wants. Happiness seems to only last for a little bit for her...
Paavo was terrified of everything and everyone. Everything in the Forest seemed very strange to him since he was born outside of the Forest.
While he still feels uncomfortable around large groups or deer that look unusual, he has adjusted to the Forest more. However, he has matured and is seeing things different. He's being to feel bitter due to how he was treated as a fawn.

"Hurry, Kumiko! We need to move on!" Serenity called out to the young fawn as she followed Freya.
Kumiko limped behind the group, "I'm coming!" Her ankle was swollen and sore. Any amount of pressure she placed on it caused her to grind her teeth to fight back the pain.

Kumiko: I'm Kumiko....That's all I really have to say about myself.
Paavo: *Majestically bows* I am Paavo Baroque, the twentieth heir to the Baroque throne. Well...At least I use to be but I didn't want to be king...*pauses* Oh, and this is Usko. He's my best friend!

Kumiko: *gives a half-hearted laugh* I don't even remember my parents...Let alone if I had any siblings but I don't think I do.
Paavo: *shakes head* Nope. It was just me.

Kumiko: None of my own. I do care for Paavo though. I guess I kind of adopted him.
Paavo: Me? Have a kid? No because does are gross!

Kumiko: I don't really have one...
Paavo: Those fruit things that grow on trees. *pauses* Yeah, Usko says they're the greatest things ever and I agree!
Have you ever killed anyone?
Kumiko: *stares* Eh...No...But I've witnessed death.
Paavo: What!? No! I'd never do anything like that!

Kumiko: No.
Paavo: Hate is a strong word but those deer with missing skin and skull faces scare me...Same with the ones without eyes. How do they see?!

Kumiko: *stares off blankly into space* I...I use to...It was a long time ago...When I was fawn but then...I don't like to talk about it and well love...It feels like something I'm not suppose to have. I mean, I do care for someone but I just...I don't know. *looks away*

What is your status in the forest?
Ok, here's the deal...For the past two months my PC has been having some issues. It would constantly try to install an update I already had and would fail to update it. As a result, the PC seemed to restore itself to a previous date from a few days ago. This means that anything I downloaded or installed would be deleted from the PC.
I tried to fix it but whatever I did was only a temporary fix. This lead to me needing to completely reformatting my PC's harddrive in order to get rid of whatever the hell the problem was. This means that I probably won't be in the Forest until sometime tomorrow because I now need to reinstall everything I had on here. (All my games, my antivirus software, my art software, my plugins for Firefox, my messengers, updates, etc...)
Being in the Forest would only delay their downloads and installations. Plus, those programs being installed out make my TEF game lag a lot. So, I figured it would be best for me to just stay out until I have my PC back to what I had before it screwed up.
This also means I will need help regaining my whole set since, well, everything was deleted.
This is stinky....Just when I finally get to play again! This happens! *pauses* Usko! Don't use naughty words!
Indeed, this is quite a mess. Right when he comes back...When I can see him again...This happens. Fate can be so cruel...

Also, a song shall come into play. You may choose to listen to it or skip it. It's up to you. It's a rather long song that has slow and fast parts to it. I imagined that the slower parts of the song were during the slower parts of the story, while the fast parts matched the fighting. It should hopefully make sense once you get to that part.
Alright, I'm gonna try to recover Kumiko's set and hopefully, get Spelldata to work.

Edit: Hey, guys, just letting you know that the reason why I left was because TEF was lagging- a sign to me that my internet is acting up. So I had to reset the modem and router. I logged out so that way I could at least keep the mask.

Whispers Within is a collection of thoughts and discussions held between Kumiko and Paavo once the day has ended. Each time that Paavo does not wish to wander alone or days where Kumiko has nothing else to do, they will spend time together and talk.
Paavo always refers to Kumiko as 'Lady Kumiko' out of respect. It's also how he use to address his first nanny, Hella.

Paavo jumped happily in the flowery patch as he tried to catch the butterflies zipping about above his head. The sun was setting turning the whole forest dark and cool. He knew it was almost time for bed but Kumiko was allowing him to play a bit longer in order for him to release some energy before settling in for the night. He giggled merrily as he hopped around with his tail wagging.
"How was today, Paavo?" Kumiko called out as she stood a few feet away watching with careful eyes.
"Very fun!" Paavo slide to a halt. He turned towards her direction and smiled. "I played with Shyla for a bit. We ran and danced but then a tree ate her!"
Kumiko smiled, "The tree did not eat her, dear Paavo. In this place, deer can run through many trees. There's only a few that they cannot..." Her voice trailed off as her smiled faded. Memories flooded her mind; memories of how careless Reetno use to be.
Paavo could sense sadness in her. He gulped and with his ears back, he stepped closer to her, "What is it, Lady Kumiko?
Meet Paavo...He is named after two people. The first person whom he is named after is my boyfriend. Paavo is the Finnish version of the name 'Paul', my boyfriend's name but I figured having the name in another language other than English would make him more interesting. Then, he is also named after Paavo Lötjönen, a cellist in my favorite band, Apocalyptica, and is also one of my favorite musicians. (I actually got to meet him at their concert I went to and he's an extremely nice guy.)
I'm working a bit on Paavo's past. Right now, he's following in Kumiko's footsteps by being born outside of the Forest and then taking shelter here to grow due to a troubling past. (I'm trying to settle on what that is right now.)
His personality will truely show once I actually play him. So I might not write a biography- or at least a detailed one - for a few days so I can get a feel of his character. I can tell you this much: he's a pistol. He has a temper to him. He's not a bully though; he just had to grow up being strong in order to survive so it has left him feeling a bit bitter.
