[Suggestion] Magic Timer

Instead of having the game say "Fawns can cast temporary magic, or temporarily have skins; while Stags can retain and cast permanent magic (except on fawns)" Have the game add a timer to each account.

For as long as the account is registered, there will be a timer counting down each day until it hits a month, allowing players that stay fawns past the first Fawn-only month to cast and keep spells permanently. This would also allow fawn players to customize their fawn besides the base flowers and temporary skins that are available (devout and the red Crying Idol skin.)

I just think it would be a cool idea, and even if it never got implemented, The Endless Forest still is a great game!

Before the Forest Became Endless

Deer-folk could enter and exit the forest as pleased. Anything could enter, including the humans.

Many moons ago, the humans came into the forest, building idols to worship, bridges to make walking easier, and they made the Temple. The humans brought spears and bows with them, sending the deer-folk into hiding. They watched with sadness as their beautiful forest was left to be trampled on by these creatures.

They moved stones, cut down trees, even used the Twin Gods Idol as a toilet. Their stench filled the forest, and the deer-folk were powerless to stop them. But then, one deer had a plan.

"Let's talk to our gods, they will help us! They can get rid on these humans!" Deer-folk rejoiced in the idea, and at night, they made their move. Each and every one of them bowed and prayed to the Twin Gods, waiting for them to respond. Stag, doe, and fawn alike.

But nights passed without the gods answering. However, the deer-folk were faithful, and knew that the gods were on their way.

So they continued to pray.

Finally, the gods answered, the statues moving apart and splitting into two. They were here. All the deer-folk rose up, speaking at once, clamoring for the gods to listen.

"We are going to die with these humans here!"

"Get rid of these humans!"

"They are destroying the forest!"

The gods both shouted, "Silence! We can't hear you with you all shouting. Now, what is it that you seek," they ask a lone deer in the front of the crowd.

"To get rid of these humans, they are destroying the forest!" And with that, the gods started a storm. They struck lighting down onto the Temple, raining their rage down upon the humans. They acted so suddenly, that the deer-folk were stunned, but then they cheered. The humans will be gone forever!

As the humans ran, a bubble around the forest encased it, making it so nobody could get out. A few humans escaped, but the bubble captured most of them.

Remaking Coos

I haven't been on The Endless Forest for a while, so I think it's time to take a step back, and remake Coos the Fawn from her "generic fawn" look to something a bit more... Exotic, perhaps. I see deer OCs on here that look amazing, so personally, I think it's time I give Coos a little bit more... personality, I guess? But mainly in her fur.

Note: Her backstory will not be affected

Thanks for reading! ^-^

Coos' Past Biography

Coos the fawn was two human years old. It was about a day before her birthday, and she pranced around in glee. She was excited, because any birthday was deserving of a celebration. Spring was right around the corner, and plant life was just starting to reappear. As famine edged the stomachs of every doe, stag, and fawn that lived in the tribe, every deer knew each others pain. Life may had been hunger-filled, but it was generally easy.

Prancing into the sun-spotted clearing, she ran over to her parents. They slept intertwined in a peaceful sleep. Coos looked up into the sky, and saw the sun was about in the noon position, and so she prodded her parent's awake with one of her hooves.

"C'mon, get up! You said that we would be exploring the outskirts of the woods today! Mom," Coos exclaimed as she tugged on her mother's ear. Her mother's eyes blinked the sleep away and she stood up slowly and stretched. She was beautiful, with a golden-brown pelt and her young, white doe spots brightening up her fur. Her face was long and sad, as if she had been dreaming of good things.

"Okay, Coos. We will, but we can't go south too far. The Shadows have been creeping up on us," she said with a yawn.

"Okay, let's get daddy up," Coos said as she was about to tug on his antlers. She fell backwards as he rose from his sleeping place. He bowed to Coos' mother and stretched his aching limbs. Her dad was much older that Coos' mother was. He had white fur that was beginning to gray with age, and had large, powerful antlers that twined and twisted in a spectacular manner.

They trotted around their boundaries, and Coos overheard their parent's talking.

"...He wants our greatest warriors. Anybody with antlers that is strong enough to defend our young."

"I will not give up my life to the whole of the tribe, and I expect the same for the other families if the Shadows attack. We should defend our own, and no one else."

"You're being selfish, dear.

I made a wikia page for my fawn.. That's a thing.

Here's the link if you want it. Check it out! Maybe make a couple edits? Who knows?

http://tef.wikia.com/wiki/Coos_the_Fawn_(Biography)

Ik the link is a little broken, but I can't seem to fix it. Sorry. :T

In other news, I'll also work on a full-on in depth Biography of my Fawn so far, and try to remember to update it as I play, so it's a third-person mix of the past and the present. I'm excited for what's to come.

So, I've started playing TEF

AND IM HOOKED!

I found a friend (whose pictogram is the same as mine AND looks exactly like me (we're both fawns with red poppies on our heads)

We've been hanging out a lot, and just have been following each other around while meeting new deer. Getting lost isn't as fun, because we just have to moan until we find each other again, but in the end it's worth it.

I'm hoping this mini-rp will turn into something bigger over time. But who knows?

See ya!
