deer designs

VIPIN
size... very large, about five feet at the shoulder. muscular shoulders, back, thighs and legs. when drawn compared to other normal deer he should be considerably, if not freakishly, taller than them.
eyes... a very pretty grey-blue, often more grey than blue.
antlers... dark grey antlers, curved forward like a ram's. surprisingly thick at the base but thin out as they go farther down. dangerously sharp at the end of the prong, which goes to about the start of his ear.
pelt... depending on how you see the magpie pelt, his fur should be white and black. on the top where you may either see the pelt as purple or green and such, his is a very refined, sooty black color, which fades into white where the greenish-gray is on his stomach. markings on his sides vary.
mask... Vipin's "mask" is not a mask. he and Aspen have both inherited the skull from their father's side of the family, but it is not a mask, it is their face. therefore it should be drawn will no tie, possible magpie fur flakes hanging on to it, and no face underneath it; just the skull.
wounds... various scars lining his back and neck.
ASPEN
Size... very large for a female deer, especially when compared to smaller, more petite does. also about five feet high at the shoulder, and very close to Vipin's height, even if he is a stag. oddly thin legs but a very muscular neck and back. when drawn with other does she should be, very much so, taller than them.
eyes... very dark blue with grey, called slate blue. at times, when infuriated or worried, they may shift to black.
antlers... although most does are seen with the rounded doe antlers or even no antlers at all, Aspen has sharp, curved grey antlers. they are shorter than the doe antlers though but are quite a bit sharper.
pelt... depending on how you see the magpie pelt, her fur should be white and black. on the top where you may either see the pelt as purple or green and such, her's is a very refined, sooty black color, which fades into white where the greenish-gray is on his stomach. markings on her sides vary.
mask... Aspen's "mask" is not a mask. she and Vipin have both inherited the skull from their father's side of the family, but it is not a mask, it is their face. therefore it should be drawn will no tie, possible magpie fur flakes hanging on to it, and no face underneath it; just the skull.
wounds... laced up and down her back with scars, not usually visible when drawing.
XYLIA
size... Xylia is very petite, and by some standards she is a pygmy. she has very dainty muscles and bones and very thin legs. her neck is curved and rounded and slightly elongated, which gives her an elegant look when standing upright. compared to other does she should be smaller, and is nothing when compared to her siblings.
eyes... a pale lavender.
antlers... beluga antlers, but instead of being pointed they are rounded on the ends so as not to harm anyone. if seen up-close they are slightly grey on the tips.
pelt... her pelt is the peacock pelt, but usually her neck is a brighter blue than the normal. her lips are a darker aquamarine than her neck, and there are some small blue speckles along her spine, legs and even underside.
mask... she wears the magpie mask, which is sleek and black with a silver beak.
wounds... none visible.
CALAMITY
size... Cal is normal-sized, not quite big and not small. her neck is straight, her muscles decent, her legs long and easy for her to trip over, and her hooves enlarged and funny-looking. when drawn next to other deer, she should be about the same size as them, or smaller.
eyes... a quite bland fawn-brown, or golden-brown.
antlers... Cal wears the peacock feathers in game, but in all actuality her feathers are a slightly dull grey-green, straight back, looking almost windblown. she has about twelve in all.
pelt... she has the dark brown pelt with the tan belly. when drawn, the "tan" should be a lighter brown and go from the bottom of her chin to her chest, to her stomach, to her rear and to the bottom of her tail. she is usually speckled with the lighter brown along her back.
mask... the DOTD mask, which is drawn as it usually is.
wounds... has a large, narrow scar on her stomach.
DEVI
size... Devi is fairly large, even for her age, and since her parents are both very large she will continue to grow. she has a slender neck, insanely long legs and muscled shoulders. compared with other deer and does in general she should be, at the very least, considerably taller.
eyes... a pale gray in color.
antlers... Devi has the beluga antlers; black, sharp and short.
pelt... although many may see the golden butterfly pelt as orange, when drawn it is indeed a bright gold, hence her name. [Devi means "golden goddess" in Sanskrit] when drawn the pelt should be mainly golden with slight brown and tan marks, and some grey and black along her legs.
mask... Devi's "mask" is not a mask. she has inherited the skull from her mother's side of the family, but it is not a mask, it is her face. therefore it should be drawn will no tie, possible golden fur flakes hanging on to it, and no face underneath it; just the skull.
wounds... her right ear is torn through at the tip.
CHANSE
size... Chanse is smaller in height, since his mother is quite short. he has a long, elegant neck, squared shoulders and slightly muscled thighs, since he is still only an adolescent. when drawn next to other deer, like Cal, he should be shorter and smaller.
eyes... Chanse is blind in his right eye, but both eyes are still purple. the right one, however, has a film over it and looks foggy while his left remains a bright violet. the right one is also slightly blurred.
antlers... he has the bug antlers, which are very thin and long, black, and go to his straight back.
pelt... he has inherited the peacock pelt from his mother. his neck, too, should be a brighter blue than normal, and his lips a dark aquamarine. the face marking is in the shape of an "M", with the light blue line curving around the dark blue one. he also has blue gems embedded in his shoulders from his father. these rest right where his front legs begin, and he has one on each leg.
mask... none, although when drawn he should have the blue "M" mark.
wounds... none.
NEVER
size... Never, simply put, is monstrous. he is twice the size of Vipin, and compared with normal-sized deer they only come up, if lucky, to his mid-shoulder. when drawn next to other deer, he should be at least a head taller than them. he is purely muscle and bone, covered in loose fur.
eyes... since his face is a skull, it is often hard to see his eyes. if the drawing does include a closeup of him, his eyes are a dark blue-black, looking almost bruise-like.
antlers... his antlers, like Vipin's, are a dark grey and ram-esque, though they arch up and outward. they add to his height immensely, almost four feet in length. the tips are constantly sharpened but his antlers in general appear beat-up and dented.
pelt... once possessing the magpie pelt, he has fought and won so many battles that most of his fur has been ripped off. it now appears that he has the zombie pelt; his ribs and several spine sections are visible through his thin fur. there are also sections of entire flesh ripped from his body, now black with infection and disease. his ribs show through, because although he eats huge quantities, his fast metabolism appears to make him emaciated. this "pelt" is a dark, messy grey.
mask... Never's "mask" is not a mask. his father and his ancestors have possessed natural skulls since the beginning of time. his own is bent and messed up by various scratches and burn marks. viper fangs protrude from the inside of the top of his skull, nearly two feet in length combined. they are full of dangerous but not necessarily deadly venom. he does indeed have a tongue; it is often kept under wraps inside of his stitched mouth, but it reaches unknown, seemingly endless lengths. the tongue is often described as pitch black, covered in blood and stray venom. various veins and strings hang loosely from his windpipe.
wounds... too extensive and faded to count. his left ear is almost completely torn off.
GABRIEL
size... Gabriel is relatively neutral in height, neither tall nor short, quite in the middle. his neck is very long and graceful, uncharacteristic in males, while his legs are short but well-muscled. he has a long, flowing tail that often hangs down and goes straight back when he is jogging or running. compared with normal deer, he should be around their height.
eyes... blue, so much so that they are quite unpleasant to look at.
antlers... he has the key antlers, but unlike most the go straight back, and the prongs curve upward. they are a dark, faded gray, darker than the silver of his pelt, and around the edges they are so worn that they are black. [likewise, on the tops where they are least used they are paler.] a knight's cross of the iron cross hangs from his left one, given to him by his great grandfather, who was a nazi. it was exclusively rewarded to him for bravery in front of enemies and for excellent merits.
pelt... the silver or gray pelt, depending on how you see it. it's quite bland, with a lighter underside and darker dots, until you get to his back...it is a dark gray representation of the female european black widow's markings.
mask... the crying mask, although he has small markings of facepaint in exchange for rusted tears. his facepaint consists of two black lines below each eye, and then a yellow line beneath the black on his right and red beneath the black on his left, as a symbol for Germany's flag.
wounds... a large scar on his left back leg, in the shape of a nazi symbol. it was gruesomely carved into his leg by a "childhood friend".
other... a bandana/german flag around his neck. [black, yellow, red]
