Everything has been going fine this day, until I fell asleep near the Crying Idol..
Today, I played with my friend Tovoc, Ayanel and her sister Elyana a lot. It seemed like Ayanel didn't recognize my dear friend, and I can't really blame her. Just for fun, he's been wearing the same pelt as me, and we goofed around.
Earlier, I met Elyana and she copied me really well, like she always does! I tried to give her challenges, but she a fine little copycat. I wonder how she does it... She always keeps her eyes closed.
We followed a few other deer for fun, and I hope they didn't mind us stalking! We really didn't mean any harm.
Well, later this day I fell asleep next to Tovoc. He told me he would leave soon... but when I woke up, he was still sitting there, not moving. Like stone...
It took a while until I realized that this couldn't be real. My pelt had changed into a much darker grey, with wounds that didn't hurt. My face... it had been turned into a skull. Confused, I got up and looked around. Others were around, but nobody was moving. Well, almost... some did, but stopped when I came near.
Then I noticed... that this had to be a nightmare. But my dreams never seemed so... "real" before.
I wandered the forest, looking for someone who'd react to me. Noone did. I felt like a ghost, wandering in a garden filled with statues... Really, it was weird like that. After searching the whole forest, I went back to Tovoc.. or what's been left of him. I sat down again, and fell asleep not much later.
Was this really... a dream? A weird nightmare? I felt puzzled, to say the least.

But having uncommonly real dreams, even nightmares, is nothing unusual for Foxbrow (hmm... "having" is not the exact word, "seeing" is much more accurate for her). Maybe I put this event in her journal once.
