June 11th

Has spend the majority of his absence in some salt mines as his punishment along other prisoners. Soon he would lead a rebellion despite being weak and malnourished. The rebellion ended quickly and bloody and the majority of the other people were killed. The King who ruled over this part of the world heard about Rivorn's potential and ordered him to his court. After a few missions and proving himself worthy, Rivorn became the leader of the king's guard.

Today reunited with Olta and got to know her new friend. Asked some uncomfortable questions which he greatly regretted later. Guarded the two females and remained quiet afterwards.


July 7th

Added human reference to 'essence'



April 10th

Has been searching for certain familiar faces but couldn't find them even after weeks. Concluded they were either gone or dead and decided to move on. Determined to finally find his place in this forest and now tries to reach out more.

Got to know a wonderful female named Kaari. Talked about viking worlds and wished her good luck on her first raid. Told her they would celebrate her return and was honestly quite grateful for this pleasant talk.

Diffident in her approach, her head slightly lowered and her stark black eyes dubious yet polite, the ebony doe stops at a small distance from the wounded stag.
"Do you need help at all?" Her neck lifts for cordiality's sake, her lithe frame straightening. "Even if you would only like something to drink... I would't mind collecting water for you."

Crimson eyes watched the female's movements when she approached. Briefly he considered telling her to leave but his wounds wouldn't stop bleeding as long as the bigger branches were still stuck in his shoulder. "Could try to pull them out if you're strong enough." His voice sounded indifferent but his intense gaze showed that he patiently waited for her response.

There is a momentary silence,

There is a momentary silence, her initial feelings kept sealed in favor of the stranger's wellbeing before her following response comes: "Okay." Stepping forward, she stands at his side with her torso directly facing his tattered and bloodied form and her hooves planted firmly into the soil. All attention on Kolbrandr is cinched should he prove himself to be a danger. "Please try to keep still," she gently requests. There is no doubt in her mind about the pain it may cause him. "Let me know if you want me to stop."

One of the branches are taken between the doe's teeth. Her jaws are powerful, perhaps surprisingly so; there is no hesitation as she clamps down and yanks backwards, the muscles in her forelegs suddenly bulging as she uses them to push herself away. If one more pull is required to dislodge the branch then it is taken—as many as needed are taken until only an open wound is left behind. For as long as Kolbrandr tolerates her help without retaliation, the nameless stranger will continue until there are no more branches lodged within his flesh.

"Be careful my blood could hurt you." he mumbled and prepared himself for the pain that would follow. The male tried to help her as much as he could and grabbed a few branches when they were in his reach and pulled as well. "Wait." he said after a thick branch and gathered his strength for the last remaining ones. "Keep going." A firm nod was given and with every branch his strength would fade more and more. "Keep going even if I lose consciousness." And after the very last one, the male would rest his head on the ground and let out a long sigh before he closed his eyes.

And resumes. Both surprise and appreciation is silently felt when the stag makes the effort to assist her, and each cue he gives is listened to and followed. Ever growing, however, is a sliver of concern as his strength evidently wanes. Nonetheless she doesn't stop, not until the last pluck.

"I'll stay until you wake." Her voice is a hushed mumble, as if speaking to herself, uttered only when she is certain the stag has slipped into unconsciousness. His body would be an appeal to the bloodthirsty.

Sitting a distance away, the doe waits until she feels her time to depart is due.

It took a while until the male woke up again. He wanted to stretch his legs but the sharp pain of the wounds caused him to stop and an annoyed groan escaped his throat. "Thanks." was all he said. The male wasn't really talkative around strangers but a slow nod towards the female showed immense gratitude and respect. "Farewell." The Isegrim watched how she left the scene and wondered who she was, he quickly made a mental note to seek her out again and properly thank her the next time they meet.
