1.(make shure you are on connect automatically)
2.Make your bar with actions strip always visible(as it is easier to control deer after you auto connect back)
3. Go to statue.
4.Remove all pelts
5.Pray
6.press esc menu
7.disconnect
8.Quickly get up and start running in mid air(or air sitting but not literary sitting)
9.Do this untill you connect.
10.Repeat steps if pelt dosent stick
Thats how I do it at least.
