The doe was silent, deep in thought and ennui during that day; she slept, and for the most part sat, as her want to eat and drink had dispelled long ago. She hadn't moved an inch when passersby raced passed her, even if they stopped to say hello. She made no notion of kindness or gratitude of any communication.
However, she bit back a hiss when a particularly gentle fellow poised himself near her, directly near her and she was going to hiss anyway and she hissed and drew back her lips and she gritted between her teeth extremely quietly "I will tear your heart open I can shovel your eyes out like pudding--" she scolded herself. She immediately hoped that the stranger, for his intention...unknown, wouldn't have heard her for Gods' sake and Christ, she was going to loose it right then and there. She hadn't had any form of real talk or anger run through her blood in so long, it burst out quietly and rumbled. She scolded herself again and gave a swift glance over to him; Jesus, she was a ticking time bomb and that was enough to make her burst into tears. A simple glance, just a simple glance and she was off and crying into her own forelegs, shaking and sobbing and gagging over the fact that someone, just someone had the guts to plop right next to here and not say a word, just sit right next to her and God did she like it and God did she hate it. She ran through her thoughts quickly until they all merged into one, and she couldn't think clearly and everything was going by so fast...
ooooh it's all good ;y; [E.

Wandering as usual, his eyes sought out new interests and old interests. He was bored, alone, and needed immediate company now, any kind would do, as long as they were civil enough. He strutted through the woods, holding himself up proudly, not a speck of doubt in his coral colored eyes. He paused, ears twitching, finding the subtle sound of breath very close. Another living thing, his eyes scoured the area, seeing the flick of a small tail from behind a tree. Raising his head upon his neck he walked around the trunk, looking down without lowering his face at the white doe. She was small, delicate, seemed rather pleasant. That is until it hissed. Did it hiss? Why did it hiss at him, could it not speak. He narrowed his eyes, but shook it off, either way she would do. He sat there, right next to her. Not speaking a word, or uttering a sound, no.
His head turned to see her, his eyes looking her up and down, landing finally at her face. Her face, such a wide range of confused emotions, or maybe it was just that, confusion. Though he didn't know why she was feeling so intensely over there, or how it happened. His jaw dropped open, a small breath exhaling from his lungs,
"What, dear, is ever the matter. You look troubled... or confused, perhaps both," he spoke calmly, the word dear stressed immensely as he turned his head back away, voice open and mild. His jaw still hung loosely after he spoke. This doe, this being intrigued him as much as it confused him already.

The doe quickly recollected herself as the typhoon of confusion washed away all of her paranoia; wiping away a few remaining tears onto the dryer areas of her forelegs, she turned to the buck and dragged a shaky breath. "I'm...I'm unsure, confused, yes. Scared," she said, sniffling as her voice broke unevenly under the pressure of uncertainty. She honestly did not know whether it was because she hadn't spoke to anyone in...ages, or the fact that she was new here and didn't know anything about the ropes, or how she didn't know...anything from this point back.
Her frame shook gently as she drew back from the other. "N-not so close, please. I have...problems."
huehue, night, of course
pff it's ok man ;y;
he's in forest again by the waaay

While looking her over he did notice a few odd things besides the worrying look on her maw, but rather the slight shivers she got and the water shine her eyes gave off. There was indeed something wrong with the doe, he lowered his head as he listened to her voice, which was just as shaky as herself. He pouted, it was no good to be sad like that, confused or worried. He didn't say a word, rather let out a small sigh, eyes filled with pity and empathy. As he was going to speak she threw in a few more dragged words. He tilted his head, giving her an odd look.
"Scared, from what or whom are you scared? It's perfectly safe here, I assure you, dear," he spoke gently, giving a small nod, eye's still heavily laying on her petite self, still quite confused himself about this company he had found. He also didn't move at the mention of problems, she was too clean and delicate looking to have any kind of infectious virus or conditions he would imagine, "Ah, problems I don't see, with others... near you perhaps? Have I sat too close to you? I assure you, I mean no harm and I hardly doubt a fragile, delicate little dove would do me harm."
"No, no, it's not. I see
"Problems? Yes, yes...too close for my liking. Delicate dove? Thank you," she paused before speaking again. "Not to you..no, it is not a physical disease, mental." She lowly hung her head, peering off into the distance, watching others play and frolic. She wanted to be like that one day. Frolicing without a care. "Depression." She didn't dare to go on further. If one was too curious of her past, she would go haywire and slip into a shallow grave forever waiting again. She grew quiet again as her head slipped past her forelegs onto soft, warm soil. Her eyes were stained with dry tear streams and new ones impatiently waited for her to break again.
His eyebrows rose at her
He scrunched his brows at her words yet again, getting to his knees and standing, he took a step back but did not sit down. He lowered his neck as to be as close to her level as he could.
" I hope this is better, I don't mean to invade your space. You see I just find it comforting to be around company. Though I can see that you are much different than I, " he spoke much quieter, lighter, than before as he bent his knees again sitting down. Darcia pouted and huffed as the last words left her mouth. Depression, a word he knew well, though had never had or seen. "Such a sad disease that is, though I assure you I will not catch your sadness, little dove. If anything, I could try to help you with yours.".

edited ties and added a few new details about him ;u;
Ahh, is this the new boy you
She paused. "Not safe, not
She swiveled her ears 'round to him, catching a small glance at what he was doing; she turned her head back to the pond that was hidden in thick brush, sighing a little. "It's fine. Yes, very different," she said, listening to the softness in his tone; it seemed...paternal, fatherly; the tone of a father cooing a wailing child. She slightly sneered at his gentleness, she hated being babied even if she acted like one. "Sad indeed...help?" she looked at him through his eyes, "There is no help for me."
Mmmm gonna track this.
Thank you all so much, he's
sorry I've not replied to roleplays recently, I will soon I've just lost muse so hardcore right now.

Okie doke, I'll get something
Darcia kept his head low,
A small pleased small grew across his lips as she again thanked him, he did enjoy complimenting others where he felt it was necessary. If he observed something, or heard something he found attractive he would announce so. He gave a nod, she did seem different, but he couldn't pin point what exactly it was that made her so unlike the other femmes he had approached. Her lack of words, or sentence structure perhaps. He was about to speak when she seemed to sneer at him. His ears drooped and he parted his mouth very slightly. The last words out of her mouth almost made him shudder, what a terrible thing to say. Why there was always helping he could do.
After a moment of silence he gathered himself together,
"So, you're saying there is a monster in this pond, dove, that kills at random?" he asked her, his voice full of confusion yet still eloquently asked. He had doubts about this but he'd let her speak.
"And... about that last phrase you spoke. You say you can't be helped, but how can that be?" another question, this time much more soft, quietly spoken in almost a whisper, " there is always help, little dove, if you allow it."
