History *Blood Warning*
Saqwarae was born a very long time ago. The date he was born is unknown. We do now, however, he was born in Scotland. At that time, Saqwarae's species was very popular to hunt. This leads us to the violent part of his history.
His herd had been grazing in an open field. It was very peaceful that day. Well, it started out that way. Saqwarae's herd slowly moved along, grazing. Suddenly, a loud bang came. Saqwarae glanced around frantically. He saw a deer, oozing blood out of it's neck. Saqwarae almost threw up at the gruesome sight. Then another shot came. And another. The herd was running for cover in a frenzy. For some reason, though, every deer that Saqwarae ran in front of was getting shot, except him. "Saqwarae!" someone shouted. His beloved sister, Satia, realized what was happening. "They're going after you, for you have the prettiest pelt of us all. You must get behind me, I will protect you!" Saqwarae's eyes filled with tears. "No, no! I won't let that happen Satia! You can't sacrifice yourself for me!" She had tears in her eyes, too. "You have already done that to the others, Saqwarae." That was when Saqwarae's blood turned to ice. Dare he turn around? He must though. He saw blood spilling out of all of his friends, his protectors, even his mom. Some had their guts coming out for they were always in front of Saqwarae. He heard one particularly close shot. "Satia!" He whipped around. He saw the bullet go through her flesh, her eyes pop out when the bullet contacted her pelt. He also saw her neck get ripped off of her body. She was such a small deer, truly she was. There lay his headless sister, at his feet. She sacrificed herself for him. For Him. But then, the bullets stopped. The hunters had run out of ammo. They saw the bodies, all bloody and torn. They were worth nothing. So they turned around to head home.
Saqwarae looked at all the blood surrounding his feet. Many, many had been killed. But surely not all? Surely, some of them ran off. No, there were more deer in his herd than that. But seeing his loved ones as still as a tree made shivers run up through his spine. "They will never forgive me. Why did I run in front of them? Why did I have to have this beautiful pelt?!" Saqwarae was screaming. "I want to say I'm sorry but I can't! I can't now! Why did this have to happen? To me!" Saqwarae ran off into the forest, cussing at himself for being so stupid.
That night Saqwarae had a dream. In his dream, he was surrounded by what looked like to be a ruined building. Pillars had been shattered, only bottoms remaining. Saqwarae suddenly realized what was surrounding these, ruins. Graves. Many, many graves. He suddenly heard his name being called very softly."Saqware. Saqwarae. Do you want to be forgiven, brother?" Saqwarae shivered. "Sa-Satia?" There was a pause. "Do you want to be forgiven what has happened on your battlefield?" Saqwarae swallowed. "Yes. More than anything. Where are you Satia?" He questioned. Suddenly a transparent deer came forward. It wasn't a full deer though. It's legs stopped halfway only to lead down to a whisp. "You-You are a ghost?" Saqwarae took a step back. His sister smiled. "A spirit." He swallowed once more. "How can I forgive you?" he asked. "Not just me, everyone else," Satia-spirit said. She continued anyways. "You must follow the blood trail. Of us. It leads to this world where you will see these ruins for real. You will spend time listening to us, and maybe they will forgive you. I already forgive you. Understand?" Satia-spirit asked. "Yes," Saqwarae responded. "Then GO!" And like that Saqwarae woke up from his dream. He followed the blood of the ones who died because of him. It lead to The Endless Forest. And that is his story.
Interesting Fact:Saqwarae had a bright beautiful red pelt. Under his Great Argus pelt, such a beauty is hidden. When Saqwarae has nightmares, his body goes into shock and the Great Argus pelt sheds off of his body, exposing his red pelt. So when he wakes up from sleeping, he may have the red pelt. He usually roams the forest alone to clear his mind of these terrible memories. He will allow someone to comfort him, especially if the nightmare was very gruesome.
