Boredom.

Lingering ideas.

Oh, and Duffy.

I was bored out of my mind, and I had this running in my head for a while. There's something about Dag and spaghetti antlers that seem to go together rather well...

...Well, for a human artist. Deer Lacie does not approve of this.

I'm nervous about this if only because I feel trying to create something humorous so early in the game is a big risk. Oh well...

My favourite children’s book is about a boy who’s black cat suddenly disappears
and never comes back. The boy later meets his cat in a dream, in
Rainy Weather-Land. It’s a place filled with umbrellas which are sticking out of the
ground. The cat is sitting on a rock, an
umbrella being its shelter.

The boy: “Come down.”

- “I can’t…”

“Can I climb up to you?”

- “No, you could never get down again.”, answers the cat.

Declan's cat who deceased today and my cat who deceased last autumn.
I couldn't hold myself back from drawing this all of sudden. I needed to do it.

Didn't put a whole lot of effort into this one as far as cleaning up went - didn't really have any references either, save for the neck and head positions.

I used to have this pelt on TEF but meh, lost it x3
Anyway I made my own deer line art to make ref sheets for all my charries c:

Deer Size Chart

I compared the heights of all my deer. Some of the differences amuse me.
I was going to label them all, but I couldn't decide how without it being distracting.

EDIT: Numb's size seemed off to me after I thought about it. I'm still not sure it's right.
