TEF-Project: Tree-Sitting Storyboard

What's happening?: A newbie deer is walking through the forest and finds himself on the receiving end of a tree-sitters prank.

His name is Bob.
He is badly drawn.
Waay simple little storyboard for a short tree-sitting animation. Mind you, I forgot to add some dialogue but it can still be animated silent to great effect. No fancy camera-angles on this...but there probably will be later.

I'm Walking to the Moon

We’re walking to the Moon
We’re walking through the Moonlit Nignt
The little Deer below are shivering in fright.


One of my favorite songs and it also inspired this image. The Original Song is called "We're Walking in the Air" and was created for the animated-cartoon 'The Snowman'. I just tweaked it abit to fit the image. I am no poet but I'm pleased with the effort.

Deer Cycle

I just wanted to see if I was any good at animation still xD I did this on and off from 5 to 11 pm. It's a crash course of camera changes and character distortions. It's 63 frames. First part is or was suppose to be a head rotation then a call, but it looks more like an excited noise! Then camera drops to the floor. Next, my favorite, was the arse turn, hehe. After that was the character turning, then skidding to a halt. Camera moves to the left to focus on the deer. A bow and then a closeup!

I hope I didn't annoy you with it since it's not a complete work!

There's Another One..

"Ma! Look Ma!", Martin called from beside the window, "There's another fawn out there!" His mother looked up from her book and came to the window. There really was another one out there...just like the day before and the day before that.

The number of sightings of these strange deer kept increasing and there were whispers in town of old Gods and strange Cults....

One Red Mitten

One bitterly cold day, as he toured his wintery domain, Ossir found a small red piece of cloth....

I have not been on the community art forums for a looooong time. Some of you may still remember me as the player who created the minature Stag-sculptures and the Blue-Waters Pelt. Unfortunatly, my Acer Laptop w/ Vista does not like TEF and of course Real-Life/College has kept me away as well.

On that note, HI TEF!!! I'M BAAAACK!!!!

*ahem*

It's a new picture and yes, I do know that the realism of the background doesn't match the deer. Oh well.

Deer in our garden!

I live at the countryside in Finland, so I had deer in the garden this saturday. AND I managed to get a picture of them. Lucky me! Our garden's been visited by deer before, but I haven't been able to get any picture of them. They are so shy! They like our apples....
