First off, I've been terribly ill. Some sort of nasty cold that starts at the throat and moves up. Due to this, I haven't really had the inspiration to really draw lately. :/ Call it an artist block of sorts.

However, I have Majime's Nathan and Pickle96's Safear close to done... But don't expect it anytime soon.

I'm quite miserable and moody, and just really want something to cheer me up. Maybe a cup of hot chocolate or something. Maybe I can go to the store and grab a Dr. Pepper...

My computer monitor is screwy. It's been screwy for as long as I can remember. But... Things look twice as dark as they should. For instance, the background here for TEF is supposed to be brown, right? It's black for me. Not that it's a big deal, but when someone submits a sketch of something in the Pictures, I can't see it because everything is completely black.

I don't know how to fix the problem, I think I'm just stuck with it. It had this problem since we first got it, and now it's five years older, and hey, nothing has changed. Not even when we set it up with a different Comp tower.

If anyone has any suggestions to help this minor agitation, it will be appreciated.

I've been getting bored and scatter-brained recently, and I need something good to keep me going. |D So I'm accepting two deer-drawing requests. Only two because the third always gets lost in time and space.

Full digital is out of the question since I lack a tablet OR a good art program, but I'll do inked sketches, MAYBE color if I'm feeling generous.

On another note, I thought it might catch some people's interest to say I was actually introduced to TEF by my old friend Halogen. You should know her, she seems quite popular around here. (Which actually kinda surprised me, otl. )

I tried joining TEF about a year ago because of her, but it didn't work on my old comp. So finally I watched her drawing one of the deer live, and it was brought to my attention again. But I digress.

So I have a little RP project thing on DA, and I found that one of the main RPers were online, so I tried to get them on. She said that the Chat didn't work for her, so we could use Skype.

What was my reply?

"...What's a Skype?"

Am I the only one who doesn't know these things? I mean, I should be on-top of the new technology being a young thing, but... I'm not.

I suck. XD But I know what it is now.

And then, there was my sudden realization a month ago that THERE'S A SPACE STATION UP IN SPACE. I didn't know that either! I'm terrible. -w- Honestly.

So... What does one do when they have to "Specify a Valid Author" in order to post a comment? Not sure I understand. X'D I feel like such a noob. Please forgive me for asking, but I don't want to go to the support forum and wait hours for it to be answered or to find the right topic when I can just ask here.

My apologies if it's blatantly obvious. It's a serious problem for me for some reason, keep on trying to post or reply to a comment and get just the same error repeatedly. I don't know. *Shrugs*

...Why do I find such joy in drawing? I keep on asking myself the same question. Why is it so wonderful for me to design and draw characters of all types? In truth, I have no clue, so I'll return a question for a question. Why does those boys who live down the street enjoy sports so much when I just find it absolutely boring?

It's kind of agitating to be an open-minded artist when everyone around you isn't, and to be constantly pestered concerning the subject above. Students in my school just don't understand how a creative mind works, while I simply don't understand how a sport-savvy mind works.

It sets me apart too far, I think. For good or bad, I'm unsure. But I won't change a thing because it's what I enjoy doing.

Just some things I was pondering last night when watercoloring. Really doesn't mean anything, just me ranting. XD

Hello! I've had my eyes set on TEF for a while, but I only recently got the chance to really play. It is definitely an interesting game, and an interesting experience.

We've gone to the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival for as long as I can remember, leaving late Saturday afternoon and returning home late at night. I had heard from my mother that there was more to it, that she went every morning and stayed there until the time we saw her in the afternoon. Finally, I had my chance.

We went all Friday-Saturday and went to listen to each Teller in turn, laughing with the funny stories, crying with the sad, and on Friday Night, going to the spooky stories and getting our pants scared off when the power suddenly shut of. The hilarious thing was, the teller herself started with the unfortunate accident.

Then, Saturday night we went down to the Scera Shell and listened to the funny tales, of Donald Davis and his snake, and of Syd and Sean Connery. They are absolute geniuses, ever single one of them. I'm proud to have a mother who is a storyteller as well.
